This s erving bowl set measures approx 13 x 4 to 5" I think this may have originally had a lazy susan tray under it. However. I never had that piece. A few years later, the net worth of"Buffet-Crampon S.A. previously known as"Tolchin Musical Instruments" had plummeted to serious negative figures. Nobody, to this day, seems to be able to tell me where the money went. And if anybody wants to buy my 600-some shares, I'll sell them for very cheap. Boosey-Hawkes took over after Marty. Then several other groups of investors gained control. ALL OF WHICH MEANS. In my opinion, that any pre-Tolchin/ pre-Boosey Buffet clarinets are FAR SUPERIOR(in my opinion! to those made since. Up for sale is an excellent. Professionally used Buffet R13 clarinet, serial#470774. No cracks, seals well, I had nylon tenon rings added to the top joint, so no middle joint wobble like you get in some older clarinets. This instrument was used by a university clarinet professor in many concerts and recordings, repaired always by Brannen Woodwinds in Evanston. Cork pads on the top joint, nylon bumpers, action very smooth. Am selling because the instrument is just a little more broken in than I prefer. Plating on keys is worn, so it looks a little ugly, but functions very well. Full resonant tone, good intonation, free blowing. Am including a 66mm Muncy Moennig barrel. Nice new, unused single case. Used, not abused!

White Porcelain China Warming Buffet Server & Ladle w/Fruit & Grape Vine Pattern
This marvelous miniature. Heated, porcelain china, food server is laden with a lovely embossed fruit pattern that contains pears, peaches, pomegranates, and grapes on it(pictured# 1) It is shaped like a small tureen, and the handle on top and the two carrying handles on either side of it are done in a grape vine motif. The tureen, when warm, will hold three cups of your favorite gravies for meats& poultry, melted butter for shrimp& mussels, melted cheese dips for crackers, maybe even melted chocolate for dipping strawberries in on a cold winter' night and keep them warm and air tight. There is a slot on the right hand side for a ladle which I've included in the sale. The ladle is silver plate and made in Italy. It has a scoop and a decorative beaded handle on it. the handle of the ladle bends on top of it to hold it steady ... morein the slot in the tureen on the right hand side of the tureen for easy lifting and pouring onto foods(pictured# 1 slot& pictured# 4 ladle) It operates at 120 volts which is warm enough to bring foods to the melting point without boiling over its contents. The tureen itself has two[male] prongs on the backside of it to insert a[female] plug into the two prongs on the backside and a 4' white cord that can be plugged into any standard US wall outlet. The prongs on the backside of the tureen lead to a heating element built into the base of the tureen itself for keeping foods warm in the chamber above it. When the lid is placed onto the tureen it takes about 15 to 20 minutes for the contents inside the chamber to heat up. It doesn't simmer or boil foods but rather keeps food at an even temperature throughout the evening if you are serving guests at home on your buffet table or dining table. An item like this one is rare and dates mid-late 20th Century. The cord and the heating element are in'perfect' working condition however. There are a few brownish stains here and there inside the tureen very insignificant to the piece itself; and worth compromising over them.
