1937 Buffet A Clarinet, key of A excellent condition enhanced boehm
1937 Buffet A Clarinet Here up for auction is an early Buffet A clarinet that has been in my collection for some years now. I only refurbished it a couple years ago with white leather pads. It plays well right now but could use some tweaking. I never finished the setup as it was only a collection clarinet. But I need the room now as I’m redecorating the shop and it has to go. The keywork is in fabulous condition and it’s nickel plating is quite pristine. Keywork action is very nice though it has the oddities that you find in partial boehm clarinets. Especially the early ones. Primarily the upper joint ring key keywork. Everything works just fine but it is. Of course, different than regular boehm keywork. The ringed C/G tonehole is inline versus being offset. The upper joint socket is metal lined. And the lower joint tenon has a metal endcap ... morewhich I have seen is normal for these Buffet clarinets. Noblet enhanced boehm clarinets did not have metal in this area(I was asked that question in the past) The clarinet plays from top to bottom. Though could use a little tweaking as it has been stored for years. The wood is in fabulous condition with a very dense grain. The only unfortunate part is in the lower joint there was a crack from the socket going about 1-1/2 inches lower. I sealed this crack so it should be of no issue. The clarinet comes with a Selmer B mouthpiece. I’ve never used this mouthpiece but it plays fine. The original case is included. I’ve never used the original case. The outside of the case is in pretty good condition. The handle is not functional as one end is open. The side clasps lock. The middle lock does not snap close though I’m sure this could be fixed. The inside of the case holding the clarinet is not in good condition as the wood chamber walls are no longer affixed. So I put the case as good for shipping only. I’ve stored this in a doubles case the entire time I’ve had it– one of those Vienna from Woodwind and brasswind. They sell for about $70 or something like that. I can sell one wit

Vintage Buffet Bb wraparound register Clarinet– all parts. For restore Here up for auction is an early Buffet Bb clarinet that has been sitting on the shelf for I don’t know how long. I’ve had several of these through my hands over the years and I just don’t see myself getting to this any time soon. So up for sale it is. It clearly has installed new pads with cork pads and white leather pads. I’m sure it will play well when it is put together and regulated. I would love to keep it but I need the room now as I’m redecorating the shop and it has to go. The keywork is in really good condition. Pads are installed. And everything is ready to go for a installation. I just have no time for it. So you save $$$ due to it’s current state. Buffet R13 clarinet recently overhauled
This is a great buffet R13 clarinet. I'm a serious college clarinet performance student. And this is my instrument. Since I'm playing on the tosca model now, I'm ready to give it to somebody so that this great instrument can be used. It is a great clarinet for college level student or serious high school student. It had a very small crack on the upper joint, but my repairman fixed it very well and it doesn't affect the overall playing at all. I recently got it overhauled and used for my last jury. Including a Vandoren M13 Lyre clarinet mouthpiece.

This clarinet has the Buffet logo and C. Fisher. New-York on the bell. Made in Paris It is being sold for parts or repair. The mouthpiece is a Selmer HS star. The mouth piece is wrapped with thread instead of cork. It has two top pieces one with logo at 67 mm long" the ring is off one end, but there is one in the case it may fit it" and one at 61 mm long no logo. There are no numbers on this clarinet. I do not know clarinets, I will try to answer any questions you have. The bell has a chip, no top ring and two cracks the longest one is 25 mm. The 1st section I think is alright. The 2nd section does have some small cracks where the ring is. I have tried to describe this clarinet as well as I can. It does have a case, but not much of one. I think it is a B flat clarinet. It will need pads and cork. Buffet Intermediate Silver Plated E11 Bb Wooden Clarinet - Good Condition
Matching serial numbers- 817725. Wood is very good with no cracks. There is a very small chip on the lower tenon of the upper joint. Silver plating here is virtually 100% and shines brightly. Clarinet was given all new pads. Adjusted and play tested. Corking and spring action is very good, and the clarinet plays with that very beautiful buffet sound up and down. The mouthpiece is the Vito II. The bell is from an Artley clarinet. The fit is very tight, but there is a slight one sixteenth inch gap where the bell fits to the lower tenon of the lower joint- still functions fine. The case is an after market Selmer Case and there is somewhat of a slightly loose fit. Please check the pics- this is a very nice E11. Comes with everything pictured. As it was just completely overhauled last week, including oiling, burr removal, polishing, and all cork pads on the upper joint. There are tiny cosmetic scratches and dings, no cracks repaired or otherwise. Plating is almost perfect with no visible wear, and I believe it's nickel plate, which would make it a 1231-5-0. I listed this at the same time as the matching Bb clarinet, and noticed I had the barrel switched, so it comes with the barrel photographed separately, which may or may not be the same one photographed with the clarinet. Buffet Crampon a Paris International R13B Bell Clarinet Made in Germany R13 B 13 You are bidding on a previously owned Buffet Crampon a Paris International Made in Germany clarinet. This auction is for the clarinet you see pictured with soft style zipper case only. There is nothing else included. Pictures are of actual item. I did my best to picture the instrument from all angles. The bell portion is marked Buffet Crampon a Paris Made in France with the number R13 B on it. I do not believe this is original to the rest of the clarinet even though its marked Buffet Crampon. The two main body pieces do share the same serial number of 530691. The piece that connects to the bell is marked Made in Germany 530691. The other body piece that goes into the previous one is marked Buffet Crampon& Cie A Paris International with the matching serial ... morenumber down near the joint. The smaller neck sort of joint is not marked with anything. Its totally blank. The mouth piece is quite worn with scuffs, scratches and bite marks. Its pretty worn but I think its marked with Ebolin Brilhart Special. Metal cap has no markings. Again please look at the pictures to get a better idea of the condition and what you are bidding on. It would appear this clarinet is not 100% original and that maybe a few parts are from other clarinets. The clarinet shows its use/wear with scuffs and scratches on the body, all the pads are in working condition but show their use. Some light tarnishing on some of the keys. On the main body pieces I do not see any cracks but I did find a crack on the bell portion. This crack runs from the rim of the bell to just part way when it tapers to the narrown body portion, you can feel it with your finger nail and see it with the correct light. Its still intact and holding but should defineitly be mentioned. The zipper storage case has Made in Germany at the bottom of it and the outside has a lot of personal writing and wear. Description: This is a VINTAGE BUFFET WOOD Albert Bb Clarinet. It has the BUFFET LOGO ON ALL PARTS. They are very faint but with a lens visible. It measures from the top of the barrel to the bottom of the bell 23-1/2 inches& has the SERIAL NUMBER E 506(1890) THIS IS A RARE FIND IN THIS CONDITION. It has 13 GERMAN SILVER KEYS& 2 RINGS. CONDITION: No cracks could be found on any of the wood sections. I could find no LP or HP marks. All keys work easily- no rust. However 2 keys in the lower wood section have broken springs which I believe can easily be repaired. The clarinet also needs tenon corks. Measurements: BARREL- 2-5/8 INCHES- 67 mm) UPPER WOOD SECTION- 8-3/4 INCHES(tenon to tenon) LOWER WOOD SECTION-10-1/8 INCHES BELL- 4-5/16 INCHES This clarinet for its age is in good condition. For your consideration is a used Frankenstein Buffet E11 clarinet body joint ser#s are 918233& 851124. The body joints and barrel are made of wood by Buffet. Gold Buffet lettering has worn off of barrel and body. The bell is from a Buffet B12 and is plastic. This clarinet was just Professionally checked out. Repadded, corked, cleaned, oiled and adjusted. No cracks or chips but there are some scratches. The key work is great and horn sounds fine. Case is aftermarket, it comes with a Yamaha mouthpiece. Overall appearance is a 9 out of 10.
