The top is item#11-9224 ... morein the#225 finish and the bottom is item#11-9223 in the#225 finish. The secretary can be found on page#131 in the 80th edition of the Ethan Allen Treasury of American Traditional Interiors. Ethan Allen describes their Georgian Court line as having. Intricate details crafted by skilled aritsans in fine cabinet woods such as solid Cherry and carefully selected veneers. Georgian Court accents offer pure traditional styling of exceptional beauty and value to provide lasting delight and satisfaction to all who want to enhance their own homes with the graceful designs of our great heritage. The secretary top measures 36" wide x 46" high x 10" deep and features beveled glass doors as well as two adjustable cherry wood shelves that are grooved for china display. The back is selected veneer. The top has gorgeous carving and a pretty finial. The secretary base measures 36.5" wide x 41" high x 19" deep and features five drawers and a drop front with lock with key. There are cubbies inside the desk base as well as two drawers. The drawers are very clean inside. This secretary was manufactured in January. 1980 and is in excellent condition overall with a few exceptions. There are light dings and one more noticeable ding on the front of the secretary where it drops down(see pics#10, 11) There are also a few tiny chips low on the front two feet and one chip on the very back side of the secretary top. It is not very noticeable when it is against the wall, unless you are looking at the back(see pic#12) The Ethan Allen name is stamped in the top drawer and the date as well as the item number are stamped on the back. Ethan Allen manufactures high quality investment grade furniture that can be passed down through generations. Made in England, Circa 1960, Mahogany, All doors lock with key, Dovetailed drawers, Adjustable upper shelves, Satinwood string inlay, Minor wear to step back and feet, Sturdy. Good overall condition, This four door mahogany breakfront bookcase comes from England. The mahogany is accented with subtle satinwood string inlays on the lower doors and drawers. The astragal glazed doors at the top all lock. And each section of glass is an individual pane. This combined with the dovetailed drawers shows the high level of quality that went into the creation of this lovely bookcase. Originally made around 1960, the bookcase remains in very good condition today with minor wear around the feet and step back where the lower cabinet meets the upper cabinet. The wooden shelves in the upper cabinet are adjustable with a brass pigeon hole system. The entire bookcase comes apart into two pieces(top and bottom) to make it easier to move. The shelf depth in the upper cabinet is 10.75" Each drawer has a brass swan neck drop pull and opens and closes very easily. Finally, the top is finished off with a dentil moulded cornice. This wonderful bookcase is very sturdy and would make a beautiful addition to any home or office! As you can see there is a large amount of storage and display space. The shelves are adjusted with a brass pigeon hole system. The lower cabinet doors display a gorgeous flame mahogany grain. These are the pulls on the drawers. Each drawer is also constructed with dovetailed joints. A sign of quality craftsmanship. This close up of the step back shows some of the minor wear you will find in that area. Selling an Antique Oak Barrister Bookcase made by Macey. Measures 62h x 34w x 11d and has 4 sections in great condition. There is no issue with the Glass. Just a reflection from the flash. I am told the base(pictured) is probably not the original, it is the one I received with the unit. There was a repair made to the top at some point which is highlighted in 2 pictures. Unit originally had lights which were removed. You can see a small slit made at the top, back of each unit to pass a cord thru. Does not affect the unit from the front. This item is in the Eastlake style which is most easily identified by the round dovetails utilized on the drawers. Featuring the original finish, this piece had burl walnut posts on top of the exceedingly high bookcase and burl walnut panels in the base. The base has a large circular dovetail drawer and two burl walnut faced cabinet doors and an applied molded baseboard that supports the attractive cylinder desk and spindle gallery topped double door bookcase. Open the burl walnut panel cylinder to expose a burl walnut double drawer cubbyhole gallery. There is an old-time ink stain in the back. Which adds charm and character. The writing surface pulls out, ... moreand we have re-felted it in period looking green as the original was far too worn to be functional. On top of the cylinder roll, you'll see the two original wavy bubble glass doors that hold four adjustable shelves, and offers tons of storage. The shelves are fully adjustable for whatever you particular needs dictate. The bookcase doors are an impressive 43 inches tall and is topped by a multi-spindle raised panel incise carved back splash, which is often missing from desks like these. This desk is in good condition. Showing minor little nicks and dings typical of an original piece dating just post civil war era. There is a small aggravation on the left hand burl walnut post where the burl has lifted a little bit, but this is normal and is not a big deal. There is also a hair line crack on the bottom of the right hand door, which we would not restore, as it doesn't affect the piece. None of these issues are a big deal, but we mention them for full disclosure. The piece comes with one key, which is for the center drawer. This is a used Step 2 toy chest book shelf with red lid. Located in east quogue long island. It is used and about 4 yrs old. Lid still works perfectly. There is stains. Marks and scuffs on it- been used by a few younger children. My now 4yr old would climb into the toy compartment n fall asleep at nap time. there is a ring stain o. Top where a plant overflowed n sat and there is"dirt" staining on the shelves and edges from years of use. This auction is for a neat smaller oe petite Oak bookcase or cabinet from England. The leaded glass accented door is the thin type of lead that is applied to the glass. Just guessing I would think this cabinet was made in the late 50's to early 60's. It has super eye appeal and is in overall good condition without any rot or worm damage. It has a newer lock attached to the inside of the door but there was no key sent with it. It has the older style wall mounts on the back. Which I turned in for shipping. It also has 2 holes that have been drilled into the base where it may have been mounted to another piece at one time. It looks good standing alone and would make a super piece mounted to a wall.
