The large front center hinge lock works fine but I do not have a key for this trunk and don't know if the lock works. Both of the side front locks have issues but display well. There are no interior drawers. The interior shows it's age but would be great for storage. It measures as follows. It is 28 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 19 inches tall. The drawers lock into place and are lined, wood on the outside. The top drawer has a key lock(not included) When you pull out the drawer, there is a leaver that you turn which unlocks the other drawers. The wardrobe side includes the hangers shown(5) and the top opens to ease in getting the hangers out. the metal slats for the hangers to slide out as well, however the right one is hard to push. Has a fabric cloth to cover the clothes from the drawers. This is a large heavy truck, but in pretty good shape for it's age and the number of trips it has taken over the years. The top(picture 6) shows the rip in the fabric. Has two tags on it. First is the Hartman Trunk co, Racine, WI. The other is on the corner and says Wasseman's, Grand Rapids, MI. That means this trunk went from the United States to Germany, then to Scotland and back to the United States. Measures 40" tall, 22" wide and 21 1/2" deep. Shipping is quoted with UPS. The top ... moreis made from three framed boards with a raised piece on top. Iron side handles and a molded base. Paint looks original or at least very old. Interior has sections for holding things in the front and stepped sides to hold boxes up. There are also strips of gathered leather attached to the top that may have been for tools and a cut-out"L" shape that may have held a carpenter's square. So it seems likely that this trunk was probably a tool chest at some point. Trunk probably dates from the late 19th or early 20th century. Overall. This piece is in good condition, however there is obvious wear as you can see from the pictures. There also appears to be some water damage to the finish and some water stains inside the trunk lid. The H hinges and side handles both show sign of rust, but are in solid condition and sturdy. The chest stands is 18" tall and measures 34.5" long and 22" wide. This is a hide-covered stagecoach trunk believed to have come from Ellis Island. It is VERY unique and a rarity! The hide covering is thought to be cowhide. Although the hair length seems longer. The metal pieces seem to be intact as does some of the leather strapping. The trunk measures 31" long by 16 1/2' wide by 14" at the highest point. They also have a matching pair of cream cotton nighties for bedtime. This is a very unusual set of Googly Twin dolls. Some sisters were very lucky girls to have these to play with. Up for sale is a very interesting Antique lincoln safe deposit company wood trunk. I am unsure of the exact age of the trunk but it seems to be very old. The trunk was stored with charcoal to keep it from getting moisture within. The label show it being by lincoln safe deposit company. And was used as a fireproof warehouse for people's belongings in new York city. Very cool part of history. For your consideration.An Antique and very Vintage entirely leather,and leather cornered) suitcase and or as once called, motoring trunk"Determined age is most likely from between 1920- 1950.It has much character, and functions as originally intended, minus the key for the brass push lock.Obviously well made enough to last till this day,it is all leather including all 8 corners.The lock, buckles,snaps, and rivets are all brass, or brass plated.There is a detailed border striping around the top and each side, and the liner inside is still intact.The stitching is very heavy and I do not see one area on the entire item that has unraveled.Upon searching the in& outside, I was only able to come up with 3 identifiable marks.The latches on each end are made by Corbin, the lock has the letter"A" just above the key hole, and the ... morenumber 8 is embossed into the leather on the rear panel.A name and address from the previous owner is written in ink on the left rear corner,which has only a route& box listed, no street address.Item came from a rural area.No cleaning has taken place on this item,only wiped down to remove surface dust, and swept nicely on the inside.There is one strip of leather& buckle for the inside top panel that is missing,and the outside belt on the left front side is worn, almost detached. For sale today is a very nicely restored flat top antique trunk with embossed tin and the restoration turned out very well. The embossed tin pattern is a fine wire mesh pattern- see pictures. I did not find any patent dates on the trunk and based on 40 plus years restoring trunks I would date this trunk to the 1880's to 1890's which makes this awesome old trunk a 110 to 130 years old- a true antique. This trunk was structurally sound when the restoration started and the metal bottom is in good solid condition. Has had multiple coats of clear applied and has the three original bottom slats.The trunk has the three original hinges which are heavy duty, fancy, tight, work well and the lid closes well. There are 19 pieces of original polished hardware and has the original center lock- no key. The two original mechanical latches are HD ... morefancy, tight, one works well and the other does not work. The lid lifters are built into the latches the lid stay is new. There are 12 solid oak slats in a golden oak color on the trunk. The metal/tin is in very good condition. The trunk has the four original metal wheels on the bottom and the trunk rolls easily. This is an original Civil War steamer trunk owned by Col. Henrie Crandall from Rhode Island. Makes a nice conversation piece. A piece of History of the Civil War. It does has wear and tear but it is solid. It is in its original condition. Please study the pictures. Col. Crandall was born November 30. 1829 at Voluntown, Ct. From 1860 to 1866 he was Assistant commissary General of the State of Rhode Island. For a period. Under Governor Smith's administration he served as Acting Adjutant general. At the outbreak of the Rebellion he went out as Sergeant in the First Battery. Col. Crandall was Aid on the Staff of both Governor Turner and Governor Smith. Well-cared for, large antique Victorian steamer trunk from the late 1800s.The chest has a domed top, typical of this time period, and has wood and metal construction. It features ornate iron hardware and trim. And leather side handles. Side Leather handles are intact. This wonderful trunk has not been refurbished and is in good condition overall. None of the veneer is missing. The interior’s“restored decopage” illustrated paper lining) has a decorative floral pattern through-out. The intact original trays are all inside and structurally sound. It has 4 compartments. 2 in a removable tray and one large main compartment. The upper tray is constructed of a heavy cardboard type material. The main compartment is accessible by lifting the sides of the top tray. The trunk has the original hardware but the main lock has no key. There are two side clasp closures to the right and left of the center lock. There are 4 small intact wheels on the bottom of the trunk to ease movement. The wheels are in good working order. The trunk has no major dents or damage. There are a few minor dings but they are not very noticeable and they do not distract from the beauty of this trunk. The interior lining is in restored condition. It is quite lovely with only a tiny 1 inch repairable tear in the decorative paper lining. There are n ice embossed designs on the tin work on sides. Top, front& back. 19th to Early 20th C. Antique Tibetan Storage Chest Trunk Dragon Flowers Motif
Genuine antique storage chest/trunk from Tibet. Dates to the 19th/early 20th century. Chest is made of elm wood with iron accents. It is covered in thin painted leather. Front is painted with dragon motif clouds. Flowers and a mandala. The back and bottom are bare leather(see pictures) The chest has been relaquered to the preserve the painting, which is typical of even the oldest pieces of Tibetan furniture. The piece is 100% original and intact. There are small pieces missing from the leather covering in places, especially the edges(see photos) and general wear and tear. All of the original iron fittings are intact, except for one on the lower back side which is missing. The interior shows the adz(axe) marks from its construction and smells from years of yak butter lamps burning in its original home. Size is 32" x 18" x 13.5"

We have an excellent condition cedar lined trunk by the Whittle Trunk& Bag Company of Knoxville. TN. This is a Cedarobe trunk. This trunk has 4 cedar drawers on the right side and the left side has wood hangers and a removable small suitcase that matches. Overall this trunk is in remarkably great condition for its age. I do not know the exact date it was made. This trunk is antique and will not be perfect. The trunk measures 40 ¾ inches tall, 21 5/8 inches side to side and 24 ¼ inches front to back. It weighs 84 pounds.

1800s Pine Round Top Wood Trunk Forged Iron Handles Square Nails Primitive. We are selling an antique pine trunk/ chest in its original condition.This trunk dates to about 1870s and still in good condition.There are five large dovetail joints on all corners. The cast iron handles are in very good condition. The end board on one side is a solid 13" wide plank. The pine boards are all old growth wood. The bottom planks have a few cracks in them as the pictures show. There are normal age wear nicks and bumps and dings. The size is 34" long. 16 1/2" wide and 19 1/2" tall. The lock is gone. Two old brass chains hold the top open. There is some very old wall paper on the inside of the trunk. Shipping will be by fedex. Please look at the pictures as they are part of the description. Up for sale is an 1800's tin embossed humpback trunk with original paper lining in very good shape and all original trays with pictures. All in excellent condition. It is black embossed tin with oak strips. All original ornate hardware. All latches work. But there is no key. One of the straps is broken and needs to be replaced while the other is very fragile. It has a all four wheels on the bottom for ease of moving. It measures 34 inches long x 19 inches wide x 22 inches tall at it's highest point. This is a heavy duty gauge steel trunk with an all metal body including the metal bottom and with the wooden inside. It measures approximately 32" x 8" x 10 1/4" tall and that's not measuring the handles. It was very well built it weights about 18 lbs and 10 oz. There are no markings on it who made it. I don't know the age of it. If any one who knows about these can share more info with me about this item, I would greatly appreciate it.
