ANTIQUE FRENCH HAND TOWEL Gorgeous pair of linen/cotton blend hand towels. This textile has 3 deep red stripes woven(2.55 inches wide) It's a thick and soft textile. One edge is selvage. The others are hand stitched with a hem. This fabric can be used for many projects as upholstery. Pillow cover, table runner, The textile is freshly laundered. Great condition. There are some pale marks of storage which should disappear to washing. One towel mesures 39.75 inches long and 17.30 inches wide. The second measures 42.91 inches long and 16.93 inches wide. Larger than you would imagine looking at the photographs I think This is a fine example of an antique needle lace table centrepiece A delicate mesh of plaited cotton threads. The lacemaker has created a veritable feast of filled and open grounds, saving the most charming'til last- a ring of spotted butterflies edged with an abstract scalloped border The mat measures 20" in diameter(51cm) and I could not spot a snag or tear I did notice a couple of faint spots towards the edge but they are not immediately noticeable and MAY lift out with further washing I have not washed the piece but it does not smell madly fusty from storage and is quite white Will require careful washing and pressing A wonderful and practical example of the lacemakers craft Happy to offer postal discount on multiple purchases where possible

American Queen Anne Cherry Candle Stand[Antique Side Table] Federal Period. Late 18th Century c. 1790-1810 Item# 130010AQS26 This is an absolute treasure. A very fine American Queen Anne Candle Stand crafted during the late 18th Century in the New England States- almost certainly Connecticut. The form is simple but excellent, the octagonal top in two boards of solid cherry with a recessed molded edge framing the smooth and undistracted grains of the top. The underside edge of the top is chamfered to lighten and even sharpen the shape of the top against the eye. Highly successful, the table floats with exacting proportions and absolutely no excess. Supported over a precisely turned pedestal, this swells only softly at the middle in a turned ring, based and crested by a multitude of rings before it tenons into the solid cherry cleat under the ... moretable top. The cleat too is bevelled along the edges and affixed to the top with a set of original and untouched hand filed steel screws. The table rests over three ogival legs, each tenoned into the base with a small dovetail and capped with an original tri-form bracket with untouched original screws still holding it firmly in place; the legs snake along in a smooth taper in plain toes, two of these repaired due to weakness inherent in the design. A neat little row of chip-carved impressions circle the base between each leg. With a dry and highly attractive surface under old layers of wax, the patina is finely preserved and quite nice. Pleasing in every way. This handsome table is a very fine acquisition for any serious collector of American furniture- remaining in nearly untouched condition, it will be cherished in your collection for a lifetime. Antique Handmade Wood - Candle Stand Table -Primitive Colonial Style-Turned Wood
Offered is a great Primitve Style Candle stand table. I'm pretty sure it would be antique or at least old vintage. Its all wood and appears hand made. The center spindle and 4 legs look to be definately turned to create there shapes. There is wood threads on top and bottom of center post where it threads onto top and base. Very old style in its making. To me it has a bit of a colonial style. I'm not exactly sure of its wood type but the top looks to be a different type than the rest. Its a wonderful little table for primitive country decor. Its in nice condition with no cracks or repairs. Its finish shows some minor wear mainly to the top and there are scratches if you look on a angle that can be seen but these things are normal for its age and use that give the wonderful added charm, charactor and patina to the peice. It has three dials in total which are all under domed shaped glass and are set into the very thick heavy bronze stand. it is set on a slight angle and has a wonderful patina from age. the one on the right is the thermometer. Here we have a very nice(and very collectable and rare) James Deakin and Sons Silver Plate epergne/ table centre piece/ candelabra. A fine and unique Christmas item. Which would make a superb present. This piece displays well. Nice and bright silver, minor age related wear in places. It stands 25cm in height. This superbly decorative and useable piece comes marked(on the underside) JD&S EP 16378. The EP stands for Electroplate and I would date this to circa 1880 in age. James Deakin and Sons silversmiths were founded in Sheffield in 1865.

The electric cords were dry-rotted. So we cut them off so that you can put new electrical cords in place. The foot pedal works smoothly, but the rheostat inside may need dusted. We tested the electric motor and it works nicely. This machine also has an old light that needs a new cord as well. Everything you see is what you get. There is also a wire separator that is round that runs your cords in two directions and two rubber O-ring drive belts. To re-wire the electric cords only takes basic wiring skills. We cannot find a model ... morenumber on her. But she does have the three cast protrusions above in the middle, as you can see in the photos. It does not appear to have any missing parts. As you can see. The steel plates slide out so you can check and troubleshoot your machine during use. Grote& Co Makers New York 312& 316- E. 23 St. This wheel does have some of the veneer coming loose on it and some cracks. This table measures 8' x 43" and the detachable tray measures 14" x 48" The felt is made by Nevada handcraft layout co. Las Vegas By Rozzi this felt does show signs from use and does have a few cigarette burns in the felt. It includes the claw legs but it is missing the turned cross stretcher that goes in between the legs. LARGE/HEAVY ANTIQUE HALLMARKED STERLING SILVER TABLE MATCH STRIKER - 1907 - 266g
Here we have a large sterling silver English hallmarked table match striker dating to the Edwardian era. Bears the makers mark'WMBJS' for Edward Barnard& Sons Ltd. The lion denoting sterling silver. The panther's head for London, and the date letter'm' for 1907. The piece measures 10.5 cms in diameter across the base. And 3.9 cms in diameter across the top rim. It stands 7.5 cms tall. Weighs 266g- please note that the base is weighted for stability. That said, the silver is of good gauge and that will account for the absence of the usual dings dents that thinner silver items suffer from. CONDITION As mentioned. The silver is in great shape and has obviously been well cared for. Polishing has left the hallmarks a little rubbed as per the pictures. There are minor surface imperfections to be expected. The base weighted ... morematerial has an area of loss. And appears to have been coloured black at some point in it's history. I think it probably was black and has just been tidied up. A very substantial and impressive piece of Edwardian silverware. And still fully functional. I have lots of interesting silver listed in my shop. Antique RONSON Silver Table LIGHTER with Green Felt Bottom~Newark Nj USA
This auction is for a vintage RONSON. QUEEN ANNE table lighter. I believe this lighter is silver plated and it needs a real good polishing. Besides the polishing it appears to have normal aging. When pressed. It seems to work good however I have not tested with butane or whatever it uses. I have no idea. It is fairly heavy. It stands approximately 2 1/2" tall x about 3 1/4" long. The green felt on the bottom is in good condtion and it is marked on the bottom with the RONSON, QUEEN ANNE logo. There is also other info on the bottom. Makes a nice vintage collectable item.
