This is the finest Regency table of this type we have had in over 15 years of selling fine antiques. This is an incredible example of fine craftsmanship from the era. Solid mahogany tilt top is wavy from the age which is very typical. There is some minor wear in center of the top that takes away nothing. Fabulous carved acanthus leaf on pedestal terminating in extravagant paw feet in gold gilt paint. You will love this piece. Prince George(Prince of Wales) was Regent from 1811– 1820 but Regency became a convenient name for the first 30 years of the 19th Century. Regency furniture was the neoclassical antique style mixed with empire style and the later Georgian style of furniture. Elaborate and ornate. Antiques from Greece, Rome and Egypt were a source of inspiration for furniture designers, attempts were made to make actual copies of ancient furniture and there was even a vogue to copy some of the stone furniture, producing them in mahogany. The regency style of furniture carried on through the William IVs reign, but introduced a few more curves and some elegant decoration. Antique Regency furniture was plain. Slender and elegant. Brass was used for decoration, rosewood and zebrawood veneers were used for a striking look. Mahogany was still the wood of choice for most furniture makers. French polishing came into vogue around 1810 and allowed for smoother shinier finishes which suited the new elegant pieces. LOT OF 2 ANTIQUE 1900-1920 TABLE MATS, FELT WITH CREWEL EMBROIDERY
Offered here. One lot of two decorated felt table mats from the WWI era or even a little earlier. The first is an embroidered floriform mat measuring 13" in diameter. The silk embroidery on this piece is exquisite and, as is the great virtue of silk, the colors remain vibrant to this day. The second is an oval measuring 15" x 11 1/2" with a printed design featuring a robin that exceeds the boundaries by a little, and a springtime array of flowers at the bottom. I have acquired part of the estate of an area clock repairman and will be offering clocks and clock parts over the next few weeks. Here are four parts or repair clocks& alarms. None of them are working. All will run for a few seconds when you shake them. But none continue to run. All main and alarm springs are good though. They include from the left in photo 1: Florn alarm(German) Baby Ben alarm in nickeled case, Sessions(not an alarm) and a painted case Baby Ben. The Sessions in interesting and different from what I have seen before. The lavender guilloche' is actually cast in what appears to me to be celluloid. It is definitely not metal. I have pictured the tiger oak stripe from a couple different view. The top is the original finish. This finish is a little darker and slightly wrinkled on the bottom. There are aged dings and scratches. The inside has two heavier dings and scratches. The edges are good. The lid measures 20-1/16" x 14-1/16" on the bottom. The hinges are 9-5/8" apart. It's at my warehouse and I forgot to measure it. But it's roughly 5' x 18" and the same height as a sewing machine. New paint to make it sparkle. Antique Ornate 1800's Adjustable Industrial Table Steampunk Medical Furniture
Late 1800's early 1900's roatating medical stand? The wood top is not original. The top is made with pine and is tongue and grooved together. Then stained and clear coated. Everything else is original. It has a Steampunk feel with the handle/knob on the side which lowers and raises the top. You can also tilt the table top. It has ornate an design on the metal and the wheels are iron castors. It has a nice thin layer of rust that gives it a great look. You could even clear coat it to seal it in and give it a shine. Here we have an awesome antique cast iron table base. This base has a great style to it and is very heavy and sturdy. There are NO chips. Cracks, breaks or repairs but there is some paint damage. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique library/entry table! This stunning table, manufactured by the Knoxville Chair and Table Company dates to around 1915. It features French Country design with quarter sawn oak plank top, barley twist legs, and cane insets in the skirted sections. The oak ranges from golden to dark and the graining is exceptional. The table has a single large drawer on the front side with original, ornate, teardrop pulls. The sides and the back of the table repeat the skirted and cane inset design so the table is beautiful from every angle. The bottom of the table features braced legs and center stretcher bar. The table has the original flat screws and bolts still intact. The manufacturer's sticker is fixed inside the drawer and a partial sticker is still attached under the table top. Second photo shows light on with 15 watt bulb. Included. No dents or cracks or chips anywhere on the lamp base or the glass. The base is all original with a 10 ft cord, plug should be replaced. Base is painted gold and shows a crackle aged finish. The chimney appears more modern, but any 3" diameter glass shade should fit. Antique 2 table napkins / towels hand embroidered with F or T 26" square
This are two antique oversized napkins or towels which came from the estate of someone who lived a stones throw from the Kennedy compound in Hyannisport(Cape Cod) everything she had was hand monogrammed- and looks like the letter F or T. Her nephew is almost 80 years old and was going to take her stuff to the dump! They measure 26" square and are selvedge to selvedge top and bottom and appears to be beautifully hand hemmed on sides. The top and bottom is banded in a jacquard scroll. I find no issues with these and consider them to be in excellent condition. Antique clawfoot pedestal table and 6 chairs
Antique solid oak 42 in. round dining table with claw foot pedestal and 6 pressback chairs. Chairs have pressed fiber seats surrounded by brads. One of the chairs seats has a split and some brads are missing(see last picture) You can find pressed fiber seats and brads on ebay or a restoration side. The table top has two darker spots that were there when I bought it. I never minded them. The grain of the wood is lovely. Cash or paypal only.

We are pleased to offer this INCREDIBLE set! This offering features 8 pieces of ORIGINAL. Antique, French Country(Brittany) carved wood. The set includes 5 dining chairs, 2 piece hutch and buffet, and exceptional slide or pull out leaf dining table. All of the pieces feature twist leg design. The chairs have carved figural backs. The buffet features a center, carved figural feature with two side compartments. The leaded glass front hutch features two center panels of green stained glass with gold leaf painted figures. The hutch sits freely on top of the buffet with no attachment screws. Ornate hardware and notched, carved details are also present on the buffet and hutch. The hutch and buffet doors retain the original locks and there is one original key that opens and locks them all. The table top is held in place with a large dowel or peg ... moreand lifts completely off to reveal the intricate workings of the slide-out extension leaves. The table has a carved wood stretcher that has been carved to fit securely.it is not attached with nails or screws. The chairs have old, red leather or vinyl covered seats. The set is in remarkable condition for its age. There is expected age and wear to the table top. There is a small area that has been filled with wood putty at some point(see picture 12) The table top could be lightly sanded and varnished and it would look practically new. It is quite stunning as it is because the antique character is striking. The extension side leaves slide easily and are working properly. There is one old peg under the table top that is missing but the one remaining holds the top quite securely. The chairs are very sturdy and the leather/vinyl coverings are free of rips. Tears, etc. The seat springs are in good condition as well. The padding is worn and you can feel the bounce of the springs when you sit on the chairs. The seats lift off so if you would like to re-upholster them, it will be quite easy. The hutch has one small panel of glass that is gone, but it can be replaced easily. There a

You are bidding on this DRESDEN. Antique desk/ Alarm Clock from Germany, in full functioning condition. This piece is also in an EXCELENT cosmetic and functioning condition! Having a windable movement which keeps accurate time. The most special about this clock is off course it's appearance; which is created by the use of marble and lots of brass. The green base and roof come in marble. Making this time piece very heavy for its size. The side pieces and"pillars" come in brass showing a nice patina. The ball on top of the clock is also made of marble with another top on which comes in brass. Definately this clock had to have the appearance of a church/ chapel! In front you find a facated glass window without any scratches. The colours of the marble are SO bright. This beauty is running great. Keeps accurate time and the alarm ... morealso works as it should. The alarm is set by moving the alarm handle to the present time. Then you wind the alarm handle and have to set it on the time you want it to go off. This way it goes off at the chosen time. On top there is a richly decorated BRASS and there are also lots of brass decorations on the base. Corners and top of this beauty. The dial seems to be made of porcelain and is in an absolute perfect condition There are black metal hands and there is a separate alarm hand(in brass) The dial show Roman numbers; the scales are divided in 60 partitions; one for each minute. At the rear you find a door which can be opened to set the time. Alarm and wind the clock. This control panel is marked with"DRESDEN" Everything is original and it passed time without major cosmetic issues. Overall this object is in a very good state but not new. Used products have signs of use. Please judge the quality by taking a good look at the photo's! This alarm clock runs smoothly and is in full function condition.
