Recent find from an old warehouse is this amazing pair of iron table legs. Unfortunately the pictures do not do them justice. They say Excelsior Machine Works Chicago on the front and have a large eagle. They are made out of Iron. They are 30 inches tall 32 inches wide at the top 27 inches wide at the bottom and 2 inches thick. They have a great worn patina to them and with a coat of sealer they would be just spectacular. They can hold up any size wood top you would need. They weight about 120 lbs each so they are very sturdy. It does have machine holes from the original mountings. I am unsure of what they held but I believe is was a printing press. From what I could learn about Excelsior Machine Works was that it made printing presses. These are from the late 1800's to the very early 1900's. Your never gonna find anything like these ... moreand the large eagles are just amazing on these. ANTIQUE MATELASSE LARGE THROW/TABLE COVER/WALL HANGING
This antique throw from early 1900s measures 49 x 102 inches and is in excellent condition. The color is a rich verdant/olive green with a bouquet design in the center that runs one way and different types of tassles on each end(all tassles are intact) There is hardly any wear for its age but some of the embroidery threads need to be ironed back into place(see photos 2 and 3 for before and after I smoothed them back into place) It could be hung as a tapestry- the work is very fine and it is reversible with same pattern on back. The cloth itself is very heavy and weighs about 4 lbs. This is from a pet and smoke free house and has been in my family for many years.

Adorable settle/table chair. They are also called a hutch. It is kind of small for a child. So I am more inclined to think it is a salesman sample. That's what the tag said when I bought it several years ago. Stable crack on the table top that goes about 3/4s across, close to the middle of the table top,otherwise no structure issues, very solid. The pins are hand carved and there is an extra pin to lock it in table position. Open it measures about 24 inches tall, 20 and 3/4 inches wide( table top) Down it measures about 14 and 1/2 inches tall and 16 and 3/4 inches by 20 and 3/4 inches wide.The seat measures 10 and 1/2 inches wide, 10 and 1/4 inches deep and 14 inches tall. This is a gorgeous solid mahogany Victorian-age ball and claw 54-inch round top dining table that dates from the 1890s. We've ... moreadded one more 11-inch leaf to it. So it leafs out with four leaves at 44 inches, 11 inches each leaf, and we also skirted the leaves so it wouldn't have that ugly space that you see on many tables. We only had to refinish the top to match the leaves; the rest of the table was in excellent clean condition and just needed a polish. It has a beautiful ogee beveled edge along the solid mahogany top, and a split pedestal base that opens up and pulls apart as you extend the table. When opened, it is 54 inches round and 29 inches high. The height to the skirt is 25 inches high. When the 11-inch leaves are inserted, the table becomes 98 inches long, a little over 8 feet. It's finished in a lovely dark reddish-brown stain finish with many coats of medium rub satin sheen lacquer, and is all set to go in the home. It's in overall great condition, with only minor nicks and dings here and there. ANTIQUE Farm Table Butchering Meeting Picnic Wonderful Craftmanship
The craftsmanship is wonderful on this old farm/butchering table. As I cleaned off the cobwebs and took photos. I was amazed at the detail that went into it. I do not know how old it is, but am thinking it could well be prior to 1900 but it may have been made later. The size is 29.5" wide by 8' It could easily be used as a picnic table. The legs at each end are hinged with bracing boards. Also hinged, coming down from the center. There is a very long bolt/screw that goes through the brace board, bends to run along side of it and goes through a hole in the leg where a wing nut holds it in place. A steel plate is around the hole so that it will not wear the wood. The brace boards lay in beveled wood block holders. It looks like the original color was the awful brown of the era and then the top was painted white at some time. The legs ... morehave dome damage/wear on the bottom but has been used for years as a storage table. The rest of the table is good although well used. I am selling this as pick up only but would consider shipping if someone will tell me a reasonable method to ship it. I have never shipped anything this large. Antique table cloth with note from owner over 100 years old! Great condition!
I found this beautiful old antique tablecloth at an estate sale and it has a note from the owner on the age. She received it from her grandmother in 1942 when she married. She went on to say that her grandmother married in 1875 so as of the date of the note(in 1977) it was 75 to 100 years old. I am amazed at the nice condition it is in and I have tried to keep from doing much with it and try to preserve it as she did. I only unfolded it once to examine it and take photos and carefully folded it back the same way so the creases are all still there and would need to be ironed to remove. I do not want to risk any damage to it. I think the material is linen but am not an expert on materials. Please ask any questions you have before bidding and view the photos carefully. Very large antique solid brass Victorian electric table lamp. it is made from heavy brass and has a gorgeous patina from age. it has 10 beautifully ornate arms which hold a bulb on each arm covered by gorgeous frosted clear glass flame shades. the arms are extremely detailed with 3 dimensional foliage with vines and leaves. Which also surrounds the sockets. it has a beautiful brass shaft with a rope style. And a very ornate heavily embossed, brass base. it is all wired and works wonderfully. All bulbs work great, and all pieces present measures 35 x 13 inches.very large table lamp it is in good shape especially for age. there is a hairline crack in one of the shades that is hard to see and can be put toward the back and to not be visible.
