The back is pierced with a shaped oval mount holding the original oval mirror in place. The front is pierced with shaped side pieces which slot into the side ends. The side ends are pierced to match the front. It stands on a steped base. The top has two hinges and lifts up to reveal the original faded pale blue silk lining. It is 8 1/2" x 4 3/4" x 6 1/4" high. The original mirror has some darks marks. The shaped holding mount has a tiny slither missing. One hinge has two dome head screws missing. American Federal Style Mahogany Serpentine Sideboard Benchmade. Late 20th Century Item# 130109JTG24 This is a fine reproduction American Federal Mahogany Inlaid Sideboard. Benchmade probably during the last quarter of the 20th Century. The beautiful ribbed mahogany veneers across the facade give an exceptional flow to the surface, these veneers clearly of a quality superior to most 20th Century reproductions. Each drawer and door is framed with cockbead molding, all four corner spandrels an inlaid fan. The three drawers on the top and the pair of wine drawers on the lower half are hand dovetailed. Resting over four tapered legs, these are inlaid with bellflowers and a single band around the ankles. Preserved in simply gorgeous condition. This is a beautiful Hand Made Dresser or Table Scarf This came from an Estate here in S. Calif. Looks to be a custom scarf for something they had It measures 60 x 20 plus a 6" hand crochet lace trim The trim is going around both sides and front. And then there is about 12" or so on the backside. So that one corner wraps all the way around with the lace trim. Possibly was for a piano, or dresser had a mirror? It's in very nice condition. Antique Standard Table Company Sideboard
This sideboard was made by the Standard Table Company of Jamestown New York right around 1900. I have not been able to find another one listed anywhere on line. A appraiser I had look a it said he has not seen one hit the market in several years. It is in very good condition. About half the locks still work and I have the original key. It still has the original finish. The only damage is that the two decorations that go on either end of the back board have come off. I still have them and they just need to be re-glued back on.

A very fine antique. Circa 1920's, solid mahogany Louis XV style sideboard, the front drawers and sides with veneers and bands of parquet inlay, the sideboard front corners wth walnut burl. It is finely carved on legs, skirt, and stretchers with scrolling acanthus leaves. The straight back legs, and the center drawer, are fluted. The Belgian black marble top with beveled edge is fine without damage or repairs. It measures 7" 84" wide by 3'1" 37" tall by 23" deep. This is an incredibly attractive cherry wood. Antique, ornate sewing cabinet that would make the perfect sideboard! The majority of this piece is made of dark red cherry wood while some of the accent pieces appear to be oak. The metal latch has darkened to black and is a focus of this sideboard. It was designed to be used as a sewing cabinet. The large area underneath would have been for machine storage. The deep well drawer allowed for lots of storage. We can't believe our good fortune. We have found a nice antique mission oak L&JG Stickley sideboard#734. It has the Handcraft decal in the top center drawer. It has good fumed oak color with normal wear.This model is a very hard to find this form. Due to the desirable smaller size. This measures 48 inches wide, 20 inches deep and 44 inches at the top of the plate rail. It came from a home in central Florida and was"touched up" by a local refinishing shop before I found it. It dates from about 1906-1910 and is in very good"as found" condition. The top has been sanded and refinished and the entire piece has an overcoat with color added. The hardware is perfect and the patina is lovely. The last one of these was I saw was a train wreck, and still brought a fair price considering the condition. I believe in offering ... moregood pieces at fair prices, please see my feedback for further confirmation of this fact. The only area I see of any real imperfection is the left side panel has a seam separation which has been re-glued, but touched up.

The sideboard has an open niche to the centre with frieze drawer above. This drawer is constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and benefits from having it's original swan neck handles. This is flanked by 2 cupboards. The left hand cupboard has a single shelf to the inside which is enclosed with a panel door complete with original handle and original working lock and key. The right hand cupboard has a slide drawer to the inside and again is enclosed with a panel door but this one has a later working lock. This stunning sideboard/dresser/buffet travelled from England to America with my parents when they moved here in the 1970's. And took pride of place in their home for the remainder of their lives. It is now time to liquidate their assets, and pass on the pleasure of ownership of such a beautiful and versatile piece to someone who appreciates the beauty, history and craftsmanship of high quality furniture. It is made of mahogany, with beautifully carved embellishments and a gorgeous, flawless large focal mirror. The bottom section has six dove-tailed drawers, and the top section consists of a large focal mirror flanked on each side by two small shelves. Above the main mirror is another shelf, ab ove which is a smaller mirror. Both mirrors have bevelled edges.
