Beautiful oak dining room table. Six chairs and a buffet/sideboard for sale. When I purchased this set 8 years ago, I was told this was quarter sawn oak, but I can't confirm this(maybe you can tell by the pictures) The table is 5 feet long by 38 inches wide(two leaves retract under the main table) When the table is expanded it is 91 inches long. This is in good condition with wear for a dining room set of this age. One leaf will need minor adjustments to the retracting mechanism.

Antique Mahogany English Mirrored Sideboard, Server, Dresser NO RESERVE!
This stunning sideboard/dresser/buffet travelled from England to America with my parents when they moved here in the 1970's. And took pride of place in their home for the remainder of their lives. It is now time to liquidate their assets, and pass on the pleasure of ownership of such a beautiful and versatile piece to someone who appreciates the beauty, history and craftsmanship of high quality furniture. It is made of mahogany, with beautifully carved embellishments and a gorgeous, flawless large focal mirror. The bottom section has six dove-tailed drawers, and the top section consists of a large focal mirror flanked on each side by two small shelves. Above the main mirror is another shelf, ab ove which is a smaller mirror. Both mirrors have bevelled edges. NC Antique Chinese 62" Long Walnut Sideboard Buffet Cabinet This very old cabinet has a flush panel top with a flat front and a small bottom edge detail. There is a recessed waist below the top that has an unusual double bead detail in the center. The three drawers and the two doors are are flush with the front frame. The doors are a flush panel style. The layout of the doors have been changed at some point. Originally this Cabinet had Three panels. One below each drawer. These panels most likely were not hinged, but lifted out. To make it more usable, one of the panels was split in half, and each half is now used as a fixed panel placed on either side of the pair of doors. Each door ... morenow has wood pivots. The original hardware has been retained. They are missing some parts. But the back plates are intact, and due to the unusual style, it was better to leave them on. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Art Deco era, Jacobean style, antique walnut sideboard, buffet or sofa/entry table. This exceptionally nice piece features an abundance of ornate detailing. The front legs are substantial and feature turned and block wood. The turned, spherical sections have carved design. The pattern is made prominent by the use of darker stain in the crevices of the carving. The back legs are more streamlined and have a carved, linear center. The darker stain is again used to contrast the pattern. A sleek stretcher extends between each leg. The cabinet face is quite striking. There are 2 doors, both with inset panels of burled wood. The door pulls are wood as well. In between the doors is a large, carved acanthus leaf detail. A series of small, incised stars surrounds the cabinet's top exterior edge. The bottom ... moreof the cabinet is skirted on the sides with an arched line to the skirt. The bottom front features a decorative corbel detail on each side. There are linear accents of turned wood that adorn each corner section. Cabinet also features large interior storage. The cabinet is simply beautiful. It is in incredible condition with very little evidence of age or use. There are a few, VERY MINOR, surface scratches which are barely visible and not at all distracting. The cabinet was manufactured by the Lammert's Furniture Company in St. Louis, Missouri. The cabinet is stamped"25-93" The"25" indicates that the piece was manufactured in 1925. The original shipping label is still on the back in great condition. This custom beauty would be perfect anywhere, as a dresser sideboard, media console, in an entryway/foyer. I have restored this piece from top to bottom. The dovetail joinery(the best made)drawers have been completely disassembled and restored including custom made drawer slides a s needed. The drawers slide perfectly. Of course this entire piece is solid hardwood construction as you would expect with an expertly crafted piece of furniture. The entire backsplash trim detail I custom made from the black base to the finial. Including the beautiful inlay work. The top three drawers are birdseye maple.They are very high quality veneer with many"birdseyes" and the shape of the eyes is some of the best I have ever seen. The large lower 2 drawers are veneered with stunning burled/flame mahogany. Notice the awesome black wood tones mixed into the burled mahogany grains. These colors are all natural. The finish I used was many, many coats of hand rubbed varnish over the birdseye maple and the mahogany for the gorgeous natural finish you see which protects the wood and brings out the wonderful grains and textures.The trim along the lower edge of the side panels is a custom addition. I finished all of the mahogany drawer bottoms with many. Many coats of hand rubbed varnish. The upper left drawer I lined with royal blue velvet just for show. English Georgian Oak Welsh Cupboard 20th Century. In Outstanding Condition Item# 130109UBG23 This is an absolutely gorgeous and very well preserved English Georgian Style Oak Welsh Cupboard. An entirely hand crafted benchmade work. The finish is golden and glowing, relatively free of any noteworthy flaws other than the most minor use indicators. The projecting crown molding is outlined with toothed dentil molding over three shelved levels channeled for plate presentation, the lower two flanked by cupboard doors over a single small drawer. The doors are raised panel, the frame tenoned and pinned in following original period construction. The lower base is raised over turned legs with a steepled apron hosting three large drawers- one is outfitted for silverware, the other two upholstered and open; these are hand dovetailed at the front, nailed ... moreat the back and along the bottom. The feet are stretched with a lower shelf. Great care and energy went into properly crafting this piece after the Georgian originals- all of the solid oak surfaces are hand planed. Resulting in the wonderful rippling of light across the sheen of the shellac'd surface. The hand forged nails that join the nailed surfaces together complete the piece with a great air of authenticity. Here is a absolutely gorgeous early 20th century oversize beautifully carved mahogany sideboard is paneled with detailed carvings on the lower doors and mantle back panels. Fluted edges, two beveled mirror back candle stands, display shelves, and large work or serving surface, drawers and cabinet space below, recently imported from the United Kingdom through Edinburgh, Scotland. Please take the time to look at my close up photo's of these beautiful carvings including urns, a figure- perhaps Neptune and the words GLORIA NON PRADEA in the top center, and tall stone towers on the central lower doors. Dating from the 1940s era and right off a container from England. ... moreThe sideboard was sold by the Maple Furniture Company, according to a little metal tag on the inside of the right hand door. The front is curved, and the two doors open to expose a single shelf interior on both sides. In the center are three burl walnut dovetail drawers, and the top drawer is a sliding felt-lined divided tray for silverware. The top of the sideboard is all matched four section piece burl walnut, and there is carving all around the edge, a carved backsplash, picture frame molding on the faces of the doors and drawers, carving on the skirt, and carving on the cabriole legs. It retains its original cast brass Chippendale hardware, and the doors have locks, but there is no key. The brass hardware and handles are all intact. The top has been re-sprayed to bring out the beautiful burl walnut matched veneer top, and the burl walnut front is all original. The overall size is 54 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 37 inches high to the top of the case, and 2.5 inches on the backsplash. At the tallest point, it is 39.5 inches high. This great example full of character has its original top over two frieze drawers and a further two fielded panel cupboard doors flanked by panelled sides and is raised on stile feet. The drawers are solid ak with nailed joints and later handles. The sideboard has a lovely rich colour and is in good condition for age. The sideboard is solid in build and structurally sound with the only worthy note being it seems to very slightly slant one way but we cannot see why as its very well constructed and does not wobble. Antique Art Nouveau Ornate Palatial 9' By 7' Sideboard Offered in this listing is an amazing sideboard or buffet. I believe it is oak. Just look at the pictures. Unfortunately. The pictures do not do it justice. It truly is amazing with carving, great hardware and lots of beveled glass, which is on the doors and the centerpiece; the entire large mirror is also beveled. The piece is all original; there are no modifications that I see. THIS IS EASILY TRANSPORTED! I was told by the previous owner that this came from a castle in Germany. It measures ~ 9 feet 4 inches tall by 7 feet 3 inches wide. It is 20 inches deep at the sides where the doors are and 27 inches deep in the middle. Condition is very good. The column on the right side as you view it is a little loose; there was a small amount of water on the top. Which is obviously not ... morevisible and certainly not major. There are several minor separations in the wood. very thin. When taking the pictures. I neglected to be aware of a light fixture that was blocking the view of the carved griffin on the top. While not visible in the big overall picture, I did picture it separately. In addition to its beauty. It has great functionality providing loads of storage. I will let the pictures talk and I welcome your questions. Believe it or not. It comes apart with not a much difficulty. The mirror is the heaviest piece. After that, the pieces come apart. In fact, I took it apart to move it. You end up with the mirror, the mirror frame, two capitols on top of each side, the two large side pieces with the doors, the center piece and the piece on the center piece. It really was not difficult and makes moving much easier. This can be picked up in the Kansas City area. It can also be shipped by a mover/ shipper and would not cost that much relative to its value. Stunning antique Hoosier hutch from Seller's. This was purchased in Indiana. Metal brand plate(Seller's) is attached to the front. I am unsure of the exact age but it did belong to my Great Grandmother. It was originally located in Indiana. The hutch is in 2 pieces so moving it is relatively easy& it will fit into most any size living space. The bottom part has a white enamel counter with a gray speckled edge. The cabinet in the base opens& there is one shelf inside. There are 3 drawers with glass handles. The bottom drawer is metal in the interior& is used for potato storage. There is a small hole rusted through it but it does not interfere with use. The top part has 3 panels of the original amber slag glass with no cracks or chips. Exquisite European Antique Carved Oak Buffet / Sideboard
I have owned this beautiful oak sideboard for about 10 years. It is in nice shape with what I believe is the original finish. It has a few condition issues(see photos) Nothing serious, I have itemized them below. It measures 86 inches wide. 23 inches deep, and 51 inches tall. It is made to come apart. So it is much easier to move than it appears. My Father told me this was common in northern Europe as stairways and doors were often narrow. The family I bought it from purchased it in the 1950's from a friend who imported antiques from Belgium. They used it as a store fixture(it has a check guarantee bank sticker on the back) and later as a storage piece in their home. No shipping on this item.
