There are a good amount of light ... moresurface scratches to the finish, as well as water rings and some staining on the finish. The credenza has a slight serpentine shape, and paneled doors on each end with an attractive curving style. The crendenza has five (5) drawers, one of which has dividers built-in for flatware, and two (2) doors, that each open into large storage compartments with plenty of space and adjustable shelves in each. The crendenza has short curved legs. There are some small areas of veneer loss on the front of the piece, and these areas can be seen in the photos. There are some stains inside the drawers, which have dovetail joints. I am unsure of its age or manufacture of the piece.

The edge is is flat with no detail. There is a stretcher type piece above and below the door openings. The flush doors have an external mounted wood pivot that runs from top to bottom on the edge of each door. Each door has beautiful paintings of flowers and vases in mostly red colors. The drawer fronts. Front frame, spandrels and apron also have painted designs. The lacquer on the top of the cabinet appears to be done in a style that is called Pi Ma Hui. Antique Belgian Carved Oak Buffet / Sideboard
I have owned this beautiful oak sideboard for about 10 years. It is in nice shape with the original finish. It has a few minor condition issues(see photos) Nothing serious. Measures 86 1/2 inches wide, 23 1/4 inches deep, and 51 inches tall. It is made to come apart. So it is much easier to move than it appears. My Father told me it was common for old furniture to come apart in northern Europe as stairways and doors were often narrow. The family I bought it from purchased it in the 1950's from a friend who imported antiques from Belgium. They used it as a store fixture(it has a check guarantee bank sticker on the back) and later in their home. No shipping on this item. You will need to pick it up at my house in Portland. This piece has gorgeous grain and still retains its original DARK finish. Has two smaller drawers across the top and one large drawer across the middle. And cabinet with two doors below- all with original wooden knobs. Columns/pillars on either side of the mirror. It is in very good/excellent condition with some normal wear on the feet. Some small scuffs on the top(nothing major- the worst is shown) small nicks and scratches here and there, and the cabinet doors each need a latch. Otherwise great with maybe some dust. Antique Victorian Oak Sideboard W/Mirrored Back & Applied Leaf Scroll Design
We are pleased to offer to the market this beautiful antique sideboard. Made from Victorian oak this piece dates to the late 1800's ~ early 1900's. The piece measures 71" high at the back center. It has a width of 44" at the top of the work surface and a height of 36" to the top of the work surface. The depth is 22.25" The top boasts a large center mirror flanked by shelves on either side that extend out to columns that support a large upper shelf. The fronts of the columns have carved leaf designs. The top above the shelf has applied carved acanthus leaf scrolls. There is also a variation of this design on the doors below. Under the work station there are two small drawers atop a full width large drawer. The drawers all have dove tail construction. There are cabinet doors that open below the drawers affording ... moremore storage. There are some age and use appropriate scratches and dings on this piece and some light staining on the top. It has two drawers and leaves at either side that can be folded up and down. There are so many wonderful features to point out on this Welsh dresser that we will start from the top and work our way down. At the very top is a moulded crown with some carved detail below it. Two long barley twist columns ... morerun down the shelf section and end in carved balusters. The three shelves feature plate grooves(for standing up plates) and are 5″ deep. Some nicely carved arches decorated the middle back panel just below the last shelf. As we move down the piece. The cabinet section features two doors and three drawers. The cabinet doors lock with one included key. The left cabinet has a removable shelf and the right has a drawer inside. The top drawer in the middle is sectioned into 3 areas and lined with felt. This felt inside this drawer is quite worn and missing in places and it should be replaced. Finally, moving down to the legs, feet, and stretchers you can see again the use of the lovely barley twist. This antique Welsh dresser was made in Wales sometime around 1940. It is in excellent condition. The top has. At some point, been married to the bottom as you can see from the picture of the back. The only two flaws are the bad felt in the top drawer and some wear to the moulding around the bottom of the section with the cabinets and drawers. This can be seen in the photos. There was no need for the sides/legs to be removable, so I chose to make it much more solid I love the original trim around the edges of the top. It has great details The top is made from a 4 way matched(4 pieces of veneer matched together)walnut burl veneer.I hand rubbed 10 coats of varnish to achieve the incredible luster and depth which showcases the walnut wood.there are small natural cracks& a few tiny dings in the center of the top burled area.all character is consistent with its age. That is what makes it a beautiful antique The medallions on the ends. Sides& legs are made from Bakelite(original resin) or Bakelite type material. We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique cabinet. This is a gorgeous cabinet/sideboard or accent entry table that dates to the 1920s. The cabinet is solid wood(Maple or Pine) with beautiful grain pattern. The cabinet has both Art Deco and Jacobean details. The cabinet has a double door front. The doors have arched and recessed panels. Inside the recessed areas. Each door has a raised, English Tudor style shield. The shields feature a yellow stain which provides contrast to the medium stain of the surrounding wood. There is a decorative, scalloped apron with incised accents as well. The cabinet has beautiful, turned wood front legs and sleek, straight back legs. There are stretcher supports between the front and back legs as well as a center support. The cabinet has generous storage inside. There are no shelves, just open storage space. ... moreThe bottom storage area is a thinner piece of wood than the balance of the cabinet. The cabinet is in very good condition. The finish is very good. There are a few light surface scuffs and scratches, but nothing severe or distracting. The cabinet is very sturdy with no wobbling. There are two very small drilled holes; one in the very back and one on the bottom of the inner cabinet. I think someone may have used this as a media cabinet at some point and the holes were drilled for power cords. The cabinet has a back molding piece that someone has reattached with relatively new brackets(see photo 12) The cabinet is also marked, in ink, goes to Jodi Brand" which is probably a family member of a previous owner. Good C19th Antique Victorian Mahogany Breakfront Sideboard Server Dresser Base
Here for auction we have a good Victorian mahogany sideboard of inverted breakfront form dating to the latter part of the 19th century. This well proportioned sideboard has a moulded edge top over a single frieze drawer and recessed cupboard flanked by further fielded panel cupboard doors and is raised on a plinth base. The cupboards to each side are also fitted with drawers and slides for storage.
