I don't know the manufacturer and can find no label on it but judging from the quality of the cabinet and the hardware it could be Stickley. Limbert, or another comparable maker from the very early 1900's. All solid quarter sawn tiger oak throughout. No breaks or repairs. Nice original finish with only normal light surface wear. There is one pull missing on the bottom drawer. Measurements are 58" long. 57-1/4" tall to the top of the mirror, 43" height to the counter top, and 22-1/2" deep. These measurements include the 1-3/4" height of the removable wooden foot casters. If you like the Arts& Crafts era furniture here's one with exceptional style and condition that is ready to set into your home. You are welcome to pick this up at my home in Massillon. Spectacular& rare customized antique side table Check out the stunning gorgeous walnut flame/burl grains on the top.incredible beauty which was hidden under a failed opaque finish I restored this table using my own special black distressed hand rubbed finish.The entire finish was hand restored including hand scraping& sanding the top. By design. I left nicks, dings, veneer chips, and character marks in the wood prior to restoration. You can see the beautiful chestnut colors show through the hand rub distressed black finish. I sealed the black with hand rubbed varnish as a glaze to provide a special depth and beauty. The table dates from Circa 1920.the Kiel company operated their second plant in Milwaukee. Wisconsin between 1912-1932 Made by Kiel Furniture Company of Milwaukee. Wisconsin.the branded makers mark is on the underside ... moreof the top The legs& stretcher/rails were originally made to be removable. The entire leg/stretcher rail assembly was carefully taken apart and restored by gluing/clamping and screwing everything in place making it non-removable, the table is now rock solid, it was very wiggly-jiggly prior to restoration. There was no need for the sides/legs to be removable, so I chose to make it much more solid I love the original trim around the edges of the top. It has great details The top is made from a 4 way matched(4 pieces of veneer matched together)walnut burl veneer.I hand rubbed 10 coats of varnish to achieve the incredible luster and depth which showcases the walnut wood.there are small natural cracks& a few tiny dings in the center of the top burled area.all character is consistent with its age. That is what makes it a beautiful antique The medallions on the ends. Sides& legs are made from Bakelite(original resin) or Bakelite type material. The medallions have some cracks and a few medallions have cracks& small pieces missing. The whole heavily decorated with figures. The two doors on the right part of the sideboard having two carved figures in the center. One of a monk, the other of a nobleman. They are both looking at each other. The left side of the sideboard has two doors, one a carved figure of a queen, the other a nun. All of these were of high social status in midieval Europe and thus these figures are placed above a multitude of carved figures depicting the serfs or commoners. AMERICAN PRIMITIVE ANTIQUE BUFFET/SERVER/CABINET This listing is for an Antique Server. It has been in the owner's family for the last sixty years. It comes from a household filled with many Country/Shaker/ Mission/ Primitive AUTHENTIC antiques. It is beautifully hand carved with spindle legs adding warmth and usefulness to any home. We are not experts. And after much research we are still not certain if it is from the late 1800's or early 1900's. It is NOT a reproduction. It has a solid Primitive Americana look and feel. It seems to be either Jacobean or Tudor in style. There are some numbers stamped on the back. Some finishing nails and flathead screws were used in it's construction. The drawer is held together by dovetail grooves. See photos) There is some wear. But there is no evidence of any repairs or restoration. It was made in England around 1890 and today resides in our antique furniture store in Atlanta, GA. With a width of 40″ this little server can go in a number of places besides the dining room. It would be great in an entryway or at the end of a hallway with a nice mirror or painting above it. The mahogany wood has a great patina to it. Something ... morethat only happens with time. The finish is in great shape, being a waxed finish that is easily freshened up with furniture paste wax. You will notice some dark stains, a ring, and some surface marks to the top in the photos. These are normal for a piece of this age that has been used and serves to add character to the sideboard. We have rated this sideboard in good condition. Both of the drawers open and close easily and are made with hand cut dovetails. The left lock is broken and there is no key for either lock. While the four legs are connected with a stretcher. The sideboard is a little top heavy which gives it a slight wobble when pushed on. It is quite sturdy enough for everyday use with a large lamp on it, but would not withstand the weight of a person sitting on the edge of it. This is a rare mahogany Victorian sideboard. It has beautiful flame grained mahogany veneers. The top has shapely openwork galleries dovetailed together and graduated spool turned posts ending in delicate finials.The shelves and base are framed with decorative beaded arrow design moldings. The dovetailed drawer has a desk and inkwell cubbies inside.There is an age crack in the desk top(inside the drawer) The cabinet base has the original shelf. This piece is a very desirable and rare diminutive size. The craftsmanship is outstanding.It has a lovely patina. The sideboard shows some minor age appropriate wear including the age cracks in the veneer on the right side of the base.
