I have included a lot of pictures because this sample book is in rough condition. It is VERY OLD& it's dirty! I have not attempted to clean it whatsoever. I will leave that up to the buyer. I think that the samples themselves could be cleaned up quite nicely with an upholstery cleaner. The metal binding& the staples that affix the little tags to each sample are rusty. Therefore there are rust marks/stains on the fabric throughout the book. Condition of samples: there are some rough spots, stains, and some of the outer stitching is coming apart on a few. The upper left of the black part that reads"Slumber Chair Cover Samples" is not there. We have pulled the whole top apart and re-glued everything and sanded forever to get all the little nicks and dings out to make the table top smooth and exposes the gorgeous grains used. Has two(2) 12 in. original leaves and one smaller makeshift 10 in. leaf that make the table a maximum length of 92 in. long.almost 8 ft. Has 4 double curved legs with claw feet and brass toe caps. The table and leaves are in very nice condition with no major scratches. Comes with a 2 piece. Thick felt table cover protector. Set of six(6) dining chairs are Victorian style with curved legs. There is a mechanism that allows you to collapse the table from standard diner table height 36X36X27 down to standard coffee table height 36X20X16. The sides of the table are also drop leaf and collapse down. Its quite amazing. There are top quality original brass handles and feet caps with rollers. This 48 inch round pedestal table comes with two nine inch leafs and six spindle back chairs. Very sturdy.all the chairs have been professionally reglued. The table is made of solid oak wood and the chairs appear to be made of maple and elm woods stained to match the table. Two of the chairs are slightly darker as they were obtained separately. Listing a great old heavy solid oak 44" square dining table ready for your holiday feasts. It was purchased and refinished in dark oak about 25 years ago and used for holiday meals. The table is a very large 44" x 44" in the smallest configuration. It is just about 30 1/2" tall with the original casters installed and can be dropped down about another inch just by popping the casters off. The original leaves are long gone but this table was used with birch make-do leaves and a single castoff oak leaf from another table for large holiday gatherings. The birch leaves are 21" wide and the lone oak leaf is 12 1/2" With all the leaves in place this table extends to 98" Do you need an 8+ foot table for your holiday gatherings? Opened without any leaves measures approximately 58 in. long by 42 in. wide. Has two(2) 12 in. original leaves and one smaller makeshift 10 in. leaf that make the table a maximum length of 92 in. long.almost 8 ft. Has 4 double curved legs with claw feet and brass toe caps. The table and leaves are in very nice condition with no major scratches. Comes with a 2 piece. Thick felt table cover protector. Set of six(6) dining chairs are Victorian style with curved legs. Padded upholstered seats and ornately carved backs(please see closeup picture) The fabric on the seats is cream/off-white colored(a little darker than the pictures show) with light rose/pink colored ... moreflowers. The fabric on the seats is in really good condition with no rips or tears, but there are some spots and they could use a good shampooing/cleaning. Overall all the wood on the chairs is also in very nice condition as well. PLEASE NOTE: The back on one of the chairs has broken in half horizontally, but can very easily be fixed. I will leave that up to the buyer who can probably do a better job than myself. This dining set has been in the family for many generations and has been taken very good care of over the years. I don't know and have no way of knowing if the table and chairs originally came together as a set or not. Unfortunately the last person who would know this has recently passed away.
