Cleaned it up and decided to try to sell it. this is a very nice solid quartersawn oak round top ... moretable that is 54 inches in diameter. it has great flake in the wood in the top, skirt, and the base. there are no veneers. it has an unusual claw footed base which has carving on the legs and the bottom of the squared pedestal which divide at the hypotenuse and makes either portion of the base therefore V shaped. the top opens to 92 inches which makes it almost 8 feet long. i have pictured some chairs around it so you can see that it will easily seat 8 people( or more) when opened. when close it seats 6 comfortably. it has casters on the claw feet and the base and rolls well and sits perpendicular when open and does not sag in the middle. at any rate, it is very well built, very solid, no loose or missing parts or pieces i am aware of. i do not have leaves for the table, i probably do but don't know where they are, but some could be easily made. i hope the pictures enhance the description. any questions please ask. again a very nice, solid, table of high quality material being quartersawn oak that has large and abundant flake. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer;s expense. good luck.

The round table is a split-pedestal extension and all five legs sit on wheels. Included are 4 original Wishbone chairs with a sort of Chippendale look. The set is American Walnut. And can be verified by a beam on the bottom of the table stamped"Walnut" as seen in the pictures. Something special I find with this table, is a lock mechanism that places the set right at the start of the 20th century and was very popular then, but isn't found very often with the original furniture. On the handle, the mechanism reads, Perfection Table Lock Pat.Nov.1.04" Condition on the set is fair with visible surface scratches on chairs and table. Value $1600.00. Beautiful dining set. 5 ft. long 38 inches deep. Two leaf extensions that measure 12 inches each. One on each end. They pull out and spring up snug to the table to create 7 feet of dining room when needed. Table stands 30 in. tall. There are pads for the entire table as you can see in the photos. The pads also having a small locking mechanism between them. Which I did not see until taking the photos: So the pads stay in place. The set also has like new ivory cotton chair covers for each chair. The chairs have been upholstered in colonial blue fabric. The set is in fabulous condition. Antique Oak Dining Room Set - Table and 6 Chairs and beautiful large Hutch
This is a truly beautiful dining room set. The table and hutch and all 6 chairs are solid oak and are from the early 1900s. All pieces were refinished several years ago and have very little use. The table is 42"x42" and has a 34" wide leaf set that extends the table to a full 76" long and is very solid. The table has some very nice intricate legs and structure underneath. There are 4 matching chairs and 2 matching captains chairs. All 6 chairs have beautiful matching cane bottoms. The cane was replaced at the same time they were refinished. The hutch was in very bad condition when I bought it in the mid 70s. It is 84" x 84" The base was totally rebuilt and has 2 repaired doors and 6 drawers with new slide mechanisms. The top can be removed for moving. I will sell separately($600 for the table or hutch) or together ... morefor $1000 firm. For your Bidding consideration in this Auction is an Antique English Georgian period Tray Table. It is made of beautifully grained Mahogany wood. Note the stunning grain on the single board top! The Tray has all hand dovetailed corners. There is a cloth material affixed to underside of the tray to help reduce scratching to the table top. Here are the dimensions with the tray sitting in place: Height: 22 3/4 inches Width: 28 1/4 inches Depth: 19 3/4 inches Weight: 20 pounds The condition for age overall is very good. A few things to note is there are 2 very old cracks in the tray itself. The table needs to be tightened up as it is a bit wobbly and the legs may have had some work attaching them to the table base some time in the past. I have not polished the table so is in as-found condition. Some scratches to table top, tray and the section ... morebelow as well but only surface related and may be fine with a good polish. The trim edge around the table top where the tray sits in has some damage at two of the corners as shown in the photos. Both on the same side. An extremely similar tray, without the table, just sold here on ebay for $125, and not in this good of shape, so I believe I have a fair Buy it Now price but am open to offers so let me know what you are thinking. I am offering this as pick up only as I have never packed a piece of furniture like this and would be nervous about not packing it correctly for shipping. Vintage Round Pine Dining Table Handmade of Antique Wood
This old pine table(50+ years old) was custom made by a local craftsman from old knotty pine salvaged from old barns in South Carolina. It originally had a waxed finish. And could be fine as is for a more rustic look, or be gently refinished. It was in my parents' breakfast room, and was well cared for, but also used. I have had it in a dry storage area for about 3 or 4 years. It does have some scratches(see photos) and the finish on the base is also in need of a good refinish. This is reflected in the price. It is strong and solid. It measures 54.25" in diameter. It's 30" high, and the base is 27" square. The top is 1.5" thick. It comes apart, but notice how it fits together. As for shipping.
