I love to hunt down antique dollhouse miniatures and when I get a bee in my bonnet about a new roombox project. Nothing is safe. I was doing a sewing room(3 years ago) started buying for that, changed it to a notions store, added hats, changed to hat store, found old clothes, became a women's store, ran out of room, am selling some of it! This is just the most knock-your-socks off piece. Ever. It gives one of the best peeks into what life looked like in 1890. Gutermann's was a silk thread, fabric, sewing& notions company in Germany founded in 1864 and still operating today. I'm not sure wheather this is an advertising piece or a give-away-toy for children but it is just fabulous and I have more pieces so keep watch on my auctions. It is a little red, wooden display cupboard with drawers& cupboards(nonworking) and alittle ... moreglass door with tiny pattern books and bolts of silk behind it. Gutermann's was most famous for its silks. It comes with all of its original accessories:The cutest tiny brass trinket box with an old paper floweon topr, a round cardboard, pin? box a tiny pin cushion a wooden powder jar, a brass decorative piece and the most wonderful of all-a porcelain leg on a stand. The stand is brass with a molded and painted shoe on the foot. At the top of the leg are adorable hand-painted designs to(I assume) to represent garters and a lacy halo to go around that. Gutterman's sells garter fabrics and feminine lace! It is absolutely stunning and if you don't have a shop, would be cute in a boudoir or on display in your real home or sewing room. An Edwardian Sideboard. Modified by the installation of two(2) Bathroom style sinks. We are pleased to present this unusual piece of furniture for your consideration. Dating to the Edwardian era. It is a large Sideboard that has been modified by the installation of two(2) matching Bathroom Sinks, one on each side of the single massive center drawer. The Sideboard measures 37 inches high and 72 inches wide. The depth at the ends is 19-3/4 inches. While at the center the countertop extends outwards to 24-1/4 inches. The matching sinks, each with an attractive and colorful floral motif, are oval shaped and measure 19 inches wide and 16 inches deep. There are a variety of minor issues. The finish around the sink on the left side is quite worn although the underlying wood is solid. The cabinet door underneath that sink is locked and we have been ... moreunable to get it open. We're not sure what it was used for but there are several metal holders that I believe used to hold keys. It is an old cabinet and has some issues. There use to be a clue felt liner in this cabinet but now only a slight remnant is left. This could probably be taken off with a little sanding or steel wool. Or you could leave it alone and just enjoy the beauty of the cabinet. It has it's original key(rare and hard to find) and it locks the drawer when needed. It is a nice size and measures almost 26" tall x 19 3/4" wide x 5 1/4" deep- nice size for displays! It weighs 11 lbs. The top part of the cabinet where there is glass- is another lock. We could not get the lock to lock- ... moreit could just need a patient hand to work on it. Not sure if it is the right key. It's a very nice cabinet because the top has glass for displaying items and there is a drawer for putting things away. Hi. You are bidding on an Eastlake style curio cabinet. The piece is in good condition. There is a slight ding underneath the wood not visible on the bottom and that is photographed. But I think you will find it in good condition throughout. The glass is beveled. I do not know about original hardware as I do not know about these cabinets. I just found it and know they are loved. The size is 30 inches tall. 22 inches wide and about 6 inches deep. The door opens nicely. The wood is a darker color but the picture lit up when I used the flash. The truer color is the darker color. I do not know the kind of wood, either. The back has some panels to protect possibly the glass. They are stapled on and I do not know if they are original. It could be that they were reinforced. No idea. But it is lovely and in good shape! Thank you.

Offering for your bidding consideration is this antique wall hanging cupboard. This all-original piece measures 21 ½ x 16 ½ x 7 inches. Made from solid ½ thick tiger oak. This cabinet looks to have been made on the farm by a skilled carpenter. The patina is original. Authentic and presents very well. The hardware is original to this piece and comes with the original key. I especially like the double-pedestal base and trim to give this piece a little extra flair. The mirror is original and beveled on the edges. The opening for the mirror features a chamfered edge which really helps to highlight the mirror. There is just a tad little bit of de-silvering on the mirror. Nothing serious. But enough to let you know it has been around. The mirror is free from any cracks or chips. Well made and sturdy, this piece is ready to hang.

Antique 19th Century French Country Pine Hutch Cupboard I purchased this beautiful hutch in West Germany near the French Border while stationed over there. It is a beautiful piece that fits into a small home. It is two separate pieces and can easily be moved. The base measures 45” wide 20.5“ deep 36.5” tall The top measures 43.5” wide 13” deep 29.5“ tall Overall height is 66” The base is complete and can be used as a server. Sideboard. There is a wooden shelf inside the base. The pieces could be used separately or together as shown The backsplash is done with beautiful blue and white French tiles. There is a crack in several of them, but the tiles are firmly in place and it is not noticeable. The glass is glass from that time also and there is a crack in one of the panes, but again, not a problem. The age is probably about 1880 to 1898. Antique metal bin with sifter for cupboard or cabinet + mounting rods
Full length(lying down) is 26 3/4" The length of the bin is 19 3/4" 2 sides of bin are 9 1/2" Other 2 sides measure 10 3/4" Mounting bars are 29" in length. No screws included. Has quite a bid of surface rust, more so on the mounting bars. With some elbow grease they should clean up nicely. Screw is missing off of the sifter handle. One of the hinges on sifter will need to be soldered. Other hinge is soldered, but may need a bit care. Glass on the front appears to be in good condition. No chips or cracks. Mess of sifter is in good condition. One of the sifter bars will need to be soldered. All does need a good cleaning.

The doors on the upper display cabinet are fashioned with etched glass. Inside the display are two glass shelves for all of your favorite collectibles. You are bidding on a vintage antique Mexican cupboard hutch. Circa mid 1950's- Guadalajara. Mexico. The cupboard is a painted white with stenciled gold and rust colored leaves and flowers. This piece of furniture has a great amount of storage- the 2 piece hutch has 6 drawers and 6 shelves, 3 shelves have plate rails for displaying dishes. The top hutch has dowels that match up with holes in the bottom hutch for stability. The piece has a great patina! Some flaws in condition- please view all photos. The entire piece measures 63" long by 74 1/2" height, the top is 10 3/4" deep and the bottom is 18" deep. Late 19th century Cherry China Cupboard. Two piece. Nice figured and flame cherry with poplar secondary wood. Hepplewhite style with splayed legs. Top with two glass doors with two adjustable shelves. Molding around the top of the base for the top to sit down in adds nice touch. Dentil molding below a compound crown molding at the top. Base with one dovetailed drawer over two doors. Drawer has two brass hepplewhite style pulls with lightwood kite inlaid escutcheon. Bottom doors also have lightwood kite inlaid escutcheons. Here is a very early and wonderful German cabinet. This was found in Missouri in a home full of period century pieces. All original with a fabulous patina. Small piece with two substantial shelves and large open space at the bottom. Two drawers below show hand made dovetailing. Mortise and tenon joints. Excellent size to suit any room. Wonderful original condition. There is an old stain or spill at the bottom inside. Please see photos. This of course has always been hidden by my cabin blanket collection or by the blind front when doors are closed. Due to the contrast between the ornate front and the plain sides. It most likely was built in or recessed into a nook in the wall during it’s original use. The total height is 7 feet 2 ½ inches. For easier moving. The piece comes apart just above the top row of drawers. A good thing too. Since it is solid wood– no laminate as best I can tell, and very heavy! Dimensions: Total height: 7 feet. 2 ½ inches tall(separates into two sections) Top section. Down to flat surface below columns: 54 inches Bottom section. Drawers and doors: 33 inches Width: 5 feet 3 inches across Depth at center front: 22 inches Depth at sides: 15 ½ inches Opening ... morein front of large center mirror: 33 inches tall Opening in front of smaller side mirrors: 14 inches tall Here’s what I know: The wooden shelves are ¾ inch thick and are adjustable on the original saw tooth shelf supports. They are not pressed wood. The glass in the doors of the top section are leaded. A couple of glass sections have cracks. But no glass is missing. Over all. For it’s age and gentle use, this piece is in remarkably good condition. It was refinished in the early 80’s. The drawer pulls and hinges were purchased new at that time. And put through an“antiquing” process to better compliment the age of the piece. The large mirror in the center has beveled edges. But I believe the mirror finish was stripped and a newer mirror placed behind it, leaving a clear beveled glass in front. The two smaller mirrors on each side do not have beveled edges. There are some circle stains on the flat wooden surface. Due to condensation from water glasses. I don’t know the age of this cabinet. But I’ve owned it for the past 35 years. It is in good antique condition with normal surface wear commensurate with age and use- plenty of dings, scratches, etc. but no major problems. The hardware has been replaced. The inside of the bottom cabinet has been painted red. Hand sawn/ cut dovetails, top crown molding. We do not know the exact type of wood. The top section sits on 2 wood pegs and easily lifts apart for moving. Top section details: Note: the left door glass is broken) 2 glass doors w/ 2 interior shelves, above 2 small drawers with hand cut dovetails. Bottom section: 1 full length drawer with hand cut dovetails above 2 wood doors(the right door hinges were replaced at some point) the doors conceal 1 shelf on the left side and 4 interior drawers on the right side. The 4 lower drawers all have nailed corners and were most likely added later. Its tattered appearance is a real“turn-off” but please look beyond this to appreciate its construction and ponder its history! My Dad found this at an estate sale in North Stamford(Fairfield County) CT in the 1970s; other than this, I know little about it. I never thought much about the Cupboard until I noticed its construction– made entirely with real boards- no plywood. No Masonite, no MDF, etc. Special Features: Its top(shown in Picture#4) is very interesting- here you can see how very carefully it was assembled. Imagine designing the Cupboard’s front elements so that the parts extend up to- and become part of- the top. Probably made in a bygone era when materials were scarce. ... moreFormal education was limited and knowledge of geometry was acquired by doing(rather than while sitting in a classroom) and when tools were more primitive(certainly no modern power saws, no cordless drills, no nail guns, etc. here) The corner notched wooden“saw tooth” spacers(see Picture#5) are of special interest to me– I have never seen anything like these notched pieces which appear to be an early attempt at“adjustable” shelves! Each of the four corners has one of these"saw tooth" spacers running top to bottom inside the Cupboard. Other Features: Spring-type latch closure(Pictures#6 and 7) Ornate 6-screw hinges(Pictures#1 and 8) Boards on either side of and at the top of the door extend up to end flush with- and increase the size of- the top(see Picture#4) The 1-inch wide molding(with beveled top and quarter-round bottom) edges the top at the front and both sides. What we have to offer for auction brought to you by the Grand Antique Mall inCincinnati. Ohio is this wonderful English Pewter Cupboard. This English Pewter Cupboard is quarter sawn oak. This cupboard is in two sections. The base has an open area with a door front and two matching drawers for lots of storage. The cupboard has the original brass hardware with a nice patina. The piece dates back to 1880 and is very tight and solid. Note the wonderful barley twisted legs. Beautiful scalloped top with the interesting backboard detail. The spring is strong and works well. It comes with the keeper and the 5 screws. It has an East Lake design and is marked Sargent& Co on the back. There is minor rust and possibly paint residue on it. Antique Miniature Glass front Pie Safe Cupboard AAFA
Up for consideration is this very nice antique little miniature Pie Safe glass door cupboard. It measures approx. 14-3/8" tall. By 9-1/2" wide, and 4-5/8" deep. There is incised scroll work on the top(seen in photo#5) and gold incised scroll work on the bottom left glass door front(seen in photo#6) The glass doors and hinges open and close nicely. The wood finish is also in very good antique shape as well. I could not find any breakage or past repairs on this little cupboard. This piece was part of my late Mothers collection, she bought it in an Antique shop in Ohio over some 50 years ago. She always kept her primitive little pieces of tinware in it.
