Antique English Walnut & Tunbridge Ware Inlaid Writing Box / Stationery Cabinet
A most unusual Victorian writing box. The like I have not had before. A large usable size with a footprint measuring 15" x 9 1/2" and standing 9" tall at the rear. The box is made from Walnut with two intricate Tunbridge Ware bands across the top and down the front, beautiful parquetry work creating a mosaic of various timbers. The box lid opens to reveal a fully fitted interior with two brass topped inkwells. The calendar cards were missing, so I had them professionally re-created to produce a complete perpetual calendar. Once the fall-front is operated the drawer below the calendar is revealed with it's original blue paper lining; below this is an integrated pen tray or trough. The case measures 38” tall x 16” wide x 7 ¼” deep, the face opening is 8” in diameter. The case is in very good condition for its age. There is some slight warping of the veneer around the front door and around the face, but not really too noticeable. There is no crown piece. It is fairly heavy, weighing almost 18 lbs. Sold as-is. The glass is not cracked or chipped anywhere that I can see. The case has a couple of marks on it here and there that may come out with a good cleaning or will cover up with a stain marker. The case has no chips in the wood that I saw when looking it over. The hinges are tight and in good working condition. The door opens and closes properly. I am selling the Zenith 1941 6-D-525 long distance table radio. It is in great working condition with the light working and excellent sound. It has the walnut cabinet designed by Ingraham. Which is also in nice condition. This is one of the most sought after vintage radios out there. It has the tortoise shell handle and looks to me to be all original, however I am not going to take it apart for fear of damaging this excellent piece. Please contact me with questions. For sale I have an antique 1916 Singer treadle sewing machine. This machine and cabinet are in great condition for being almost 100 years old! It is showing some signs of wear here and there. But are consistent with it's age. I do note that the belt is still attached, but broken. I am assuming this could be replaced. The machine does come with the box of rotary attachments as well in original box. The cast iron on this piece is gorgeous and has all the signature Singer markings. The patent dates are listed near the foot of the machine. This piece would look great as a table or would make an amazing piece to upcycle into something new! Antique Candlestick Telephone Antique Wall Cabinet Sliding Doors Nice
Very rare wall cabinet which holds a candlestick telephone or a statue. I have seen one that is being used as a cnadlestick telephone cabinet. I believe this cabinet is made of pine. Sliding curved doors that still work. As you open one door the other also opens and both slide back into the cabinet exposing the candlestick telephone. The apparatus that causes this is still there and working. It is missing the two knobs that were on each door. Writing shelf which is right in front of the phone and is part of that same section. Right below the shelf and telephone is a drawer that opens up and will hold your telephone books or bible. The metal hinges that work the drawer are still there. Intact and in great condition. Check the pictures for drawer operation. It is clean but could use a nice refinishing. The wood section just below the shelf ... moreand between the shelf and the drawer needs to be tightened up and has a crack which can be seen in the picture. The cabinet was imbedded into the wall. The back part that goes against the wall, unseen, is not the original back and I'm not sure there ever was a back on the cabinet. When in the wall the only part that shows is the front as I believe that the cabinet would probably slide right into the opening in the wall and the back of the front would be flush with the interior wall This cabinet is large. 38 1/2" X 17 1/2" X 11" The back part that goes into the wall is 34 1/2 X 13 X 4. Shipping will be exact shipping cost and will vary according to where you are located. The cabinet is in central Indiana so arrangements can be made for delivery if you live either side of a line from Muskegon, Michigan to Nashville, Tenn. using U.S. 31 from Mich.to Indianapolis and 65 from Indianapolis to Nashville. They are off of an 1908 antique Singer treadle sewing machine table. We just inherited the table and there is no makers mark to identify what company made it. Each section of drawers has outside measurements of 10”T x 6” W and 14 ¾” Long. Each drawer measures 4” T x 4 ¾” W and 14 ½” Long. The depth inside the drawer itself is 3 Each drawer has a unique side design and the very rare authentic Singer drawer pull that makes them extra nice. This is an Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Table Dust Cover. Please note: This is for cabinets with flip-open style middle drawers. Not the slide out style. The bottom swivels as the machine is lifted. This is the piece that sits under the table top and surrounds the machine head. This would typically be found with models 15 or 66 from the mid 1920's to 1940's. It is in good condition with a slightly dark finish. It has some long aged scratches and dings. Antique CHINA CABINET(hutch) with a substantial and compatible. Antique DRY SINK. Although the China Cabinet was originally intended to hang on a wall. Right side up, with the thick crown molding at the top, all of the photos above, except for one(3rd photo) display the china cabinet upside down, as it has been positioned and used by the owner for the last sixty years. Metal hooks are on the back of the china cabinet for hanging it topside-up, as described, although the owner has never done this. Antique Vintage RCA Victor Wood Wooden Cabinet Tube Radio Model 50 needs work
Here's an old RCA Victor radio. It does not work properly. The cord was on it when I bought it. But I cut it off because it was badly frayed and I didn't want someone to electrocute themself. Before I snipped the cord, I tried plugging it in. The radio would produce some loud static, but I could not get any stations to tune in. I could see at least one tube glowing dimly when it was turned on. It has two large glass tubes and one smaller one. It measures approx 17" wide, 9 3/4" tall, and 8" in depth. The tag at the back shows a number 50 at the top which I assume to be a model number. The serial number is 02289 and it's rated at 105/125 volts and 55 watts and 25 cycles.
