It is in good, stable condition with only a few minor dings ... moreand light surface scratches. It unfortunately has had something spilled on the front, that caused the finish to be bleached out in those areas. This problem may be able to be repaired with a simple oil treatmnt, but I cannot completely guarantee it. The cabinet is made of solid wood with a thin wood backing. The backing on one side is warbled from moisture, but this warbling does not come all the way through to the inside, although there is some discoloration on the inside in that area, and the bottom boards are slightly warped. This is all at the bottom section of the case, and therefore does not show unless the bottom doors are opened.

Description: This listing is for a ... moreChippendale Period Slant Front Desk circa 1770-80. Salem Massachusetts, in the manner of John Chipman(b. 1746-1819) It features solid Cuban Mahogany case, each side crafted of a single solid plank, through-dovetailed at the top and dovetailed at the bottom. The slant front lid features an original keyhole escutcheon over what appears to be the original brass lock, falling onto arms that slide out with brass knobs- one original, the left one replaced. The open writing surface is clean, with what appear to be two original brass hinges, though curious patching is noted below flaking each hinge. Above the writing surface is a collection of nine small drawers, the centermost shell carved, each with brass knobs, below which a gallery of six pigeon holes rest in perfect symmetry. The case has four graduated drawers. Each of which feature period bail pull brass hardware flanking a replaced lock with original brass keyhole escutcheon. The drawers are hand dovetailed front and back, the front dovetails hidden behind applied cockbead molding. The drawers are yellow pine secondaries, the bottom being deeply chamfered along the perimeter to rabbet into the frame. They slide easily in and out of the case over replaced drawer runners, the drawer dividers running into the sides behind a mahogany facade, effectively hiding what are probably dovetail joints. The back of the case has all original backboards, though many nails are replaced. The molded apron features a carved shell drop down medallion in the center that mirrors the design of the middle drawer. The case rests over scroll cut bracket feet, each with an incredible flowing design in the manner of John Chipman. We do not believe the desk was executed in the shop of John Chipman. As his cases will typically feature exposed dovetail drawer dividers in the Newport manner, and the pidgeon-hole gallery will regularly featur

There are two adjustable shelves at the top of the bookcase and then a"notched" shelf for the barrels to lean and at the very bottom there are cut outs for the stocks. The glass doors lock ... morewith an old French key. The lock is an old lock that is not easy to turn. And requires two complete revolutions of the key to fully lock or unlock the doors. At the bottom is a drawer that has hand cut dovetailed joints and slides in and out very easily. The bookcase is very heavy and sturdy and in good overall condition. There are quite a few age splits in the piece, some on the barley twist columns and on both sides of the case. These are purely cosmetic and do not affect the structural integrity of the piece. This listing is for a very nice and rare cabinet plate or advertising plate which features Mrs. Cleveland. This plate is in excellent condition. Ther are no chips or cracks. It measures 6" x 6" and has a portrait of Mrs. Cleveland. Grover Cleveland was president of the United States from 1885-1889 and again in 1893-1897. He was the only president in history to serve 2 non consecutive terms. I believe this is an advertising plate. On the back. In gold, there are the words" Scott's Guarentee is Good" I have had plates similar to this in the past. If memory serves me correctly, this is from a Nebraska Mercantile Co. It also reads Imperial China. I believe this piece is from the early 1900s-1920s. Great historical piece.

Antique medicine cabinet with lights and moveable glass shelves.
This medicine cabinet is in great condition for its age! There is zero rust. Everything operates peefectly. I have not had the lights tested. This will be the buyers responsibility. This medicine comes with everythimg shown in the pictures. It mounts inside of a wall about 3.5 in. The demensions of this cabinet os 24in tall 21in wide and 3.25in sticks out from the wall. It weighs at an estimated 25 to 30 lbs.The electrical chord is hidden this way. Wiring will be necessary for the lights to work. If they do not work it is the buyers responsibility to fix. Antique china cabinet...no idea of age
I have no idea of the age of this piece. It is in excellent condition for its age. It is all wood(although we are not sure what kind. It has bowed windows on each side and DOUBLE DOOR(glass) in front. Both open, comes with the original key. The interior has 3 glass shelves. They are slightly adjustable. It measures 52"wide and 54"high. The legs are weak and have to be repaired to stabilized the unit. I found no chips or scratches(at least nothing substantial or I'm sure I would have seen it) Someone added an interior light so there is a hole towards the top inside to accommodate the electrical cord. Vtg Danish Modern Eames Era Antique Glass Display Case Curio Cabinet Floor Lamp
Hello- This lamp is a pleasure to gaze at. Either filled or empty. I usually have it empty, marveling at the clarity of the glass and simplicity of the style. The lamp has 4 thick Lucite shelves with the brass lamp pole going up through each shelf. The lamp stands 4' Feet tall- the actual glass area is 8" long x 6" wide square with 4 shelves. The glass is beveled and VERY thick- you can see that this is high quality glass. There is a small crack in the bottom of one glass about 1" but is intact. All glass comes out as there are cuts in the wood- to easily slip the glass out for cleaning and changing the displayed items. The base has moisture damage, and should be professionally cleaned, but I had no problem leaving it as is. The lamp is in working order but having the original cord it should be checked for safety. This is a large two-drawer Clark's spool cabinet. In handsome walnut, measuring approximately 22" x 15" x 7½" The drawers have glass inserts with gold backing. Three of the original tab drawer pulls are still intact; one is missing. On the bottom drawer, the lettering is a little smudged. Also, there are a few driblets of reddish paint on the top of the cabinet. But otherwise, the piece is in very good condition. Description Wonderful antique Ransom Randolph wood traveling dental cabinet/ case. This great old case is made of oak. And has not been refinished to my knowledge. It has seven drawers: the top three drawers have pop-up divided trays for dental instruments; the bottom four have divided compartments, and include several removable storage pieces. Brass plate on top says“The Ransom Randolph Co. Toledo, Ohio/ Pat. Apl’d For” Case measures approximately 13” tall. 11” long, and 9” wide. The hardware appears to be original, and it has most of an original key that is partially broken(the head is missing) I have not tried to use the key, as I’m afraid to push it all the way inside the lock for fear of not being able to get it back out. Cosmetically. The case is in very good condition, showing only a few scuffs and scratches, and a small seam separation ... moreto the wood on the left side of the case near the bottom(shown in close up) The felt lining in the drawers shows wear from age and use. Small Antique MILWARD'S HELIX NEEDLES Store Counter DISPLAY CABINET, Sewing
ANTIQUE MILWARD'S HELIX NEEDLE STORE CABINET Adorable small antique wooden store counter display cabinet measuring 13-1/4" long. 8-1/8" wide and 5-1/4" tall. Featuring tiny nail construction with a top and base overhang. Two narrow drawers have fine machined, dovetailed joints and drawers retains their original wood button handles and interior wood dividers. Interior side drawer is marked FROM CHAS. TOLLNER, PULASKI, N.Y. guessing the original maker as he had a factory in the 1880s in Pulaski, New York. Originally designed to hold needle cases and dispensers, it was probably used as a counter display in a general store or emporium. Condition is good with a tiny bump on one back edge and associated tight tip crack- no loss. Typical age related wood darkening. Staining, rubbing and wear around the edges, and an old blue ink ... morestain on the bottom which carries up one side as a dark area- looks like a bottle of ink spilled, seeping into the wood- does not detract a bit. The best part is the original gilded lettering- has the perfect amount of wear- still completely legible with the black applied block shadowing to give it a three dimensional look. Since these were cheaply and quickly made out of secondary wood, the top drawer above the"S" has a tiny, natural hole- love it! Think this is just a charming size- I've always used it on a stack with other spool and needle cabinets- lovely addition to any sewing collection or display! Antique Mantle/ Kitchen Wood Cabinet Project Clock
Scroll down for more photos/ more views below description Charming old"project" antique(late 1800s? wooden cabinet mantle/ kitchen clock for parts or restoration(key and pendulum included) I am not a clock collector/ don't know much other than I can see here other than to say that both winds are TIGHTLY wound. I got the pendulum to swing for a minute or two. But it didn't seem to make the clock work. When I stood it up to take the pictures, the gong striker did move on its own but I couldn't get it to repeat the motion. Cool old pendulum. Door glass is loose as you can see/ wood bits came from the frame other than the fancy bit that I assume goes on the top of the outer peak. The glass has the faint remains of an original stencil decoraton featuring a potted plant. There is a bit of wood missing on the bottom right frame ... moreof the clock case, and note the misaligned crack in the base(which I suspect could be glued/ fixed much better. The top part of the case holding the face is loose, especially on the right side. I don't see any markings; there are Roman numerals on the inner circle gold tone metal part of the face. Stands about 19.5" tall, around 13 in side to side at the bottom base, and approx. 4.5 inches front to back there as well. Black lacquer with incised nd painted decorations including fret borders. Scroll-work, and flowers; cabinet has two doors opening to a one shelf interior; each door has two cloisonne applied plaques(one cloud shaped, one round) which depict flowers, birds, tree peonies, and butterflies, all on a blue fishscale ground; cabinet is fitted with brass hardware. Antique Early 1900's Columbia Grafonola record player, Mahogany cabinet, Works!
For sale is a beautiful Columbia Grafonola record player. Model# A60538. It is complete with all pieces including the original crank handle. The motor cranks and plays. I am not 100% sure how it is suppose to sound but everything seems to be in working condition. I can easily take a video of the record playing if needed. The cabinet has a few scrapes. Antique General Store Sewing Needles Wooden Countertop Cabinet Box w/ 2 Drawers
Hello and thanks for looking at our listings this week. offered this evening is a antique store countertop needle cabinet. This cabinet is made of wood and measures approximately 12.75" across. 4.75" tall and 7.5" deep. It has two drawers with slats to divide the drawers into smaller sections. Each drawer has a pair of white pull handles. Each drawer front has a section with painted on lettering that reads: F.J.C. Ferris& Co. top drawer) and Needles(bottom drawer) The cabinet is in very good condition for its age. Obviously the piece does have some dings. Scuffs and scratches to the finish. The top drawer does appear to be missing one of the wooden slats. The pull handles appear to be original, but at some point it looks as if someone changed the screws, as these are longer than they should be and stick through the front ... moreof the drawer and the bottom point of the screws protrude into the drawers. see photos above) The top and bottom of the case were each made of two pieces of wood, so they have a"crack" running thru them where the boards were attached. the wood is not really cracked or split, they were each two separate pieces originally) During the length of this auction. Circa 1880's- 1910's. Offered for sale is a CLARK'S OAK FOUR DRAWER SPOOL CABINET. Provenance: The spool cabinet came with a vintage Victorian trade card and a billhead dated March 18. 1930, addressed to the Sanford Pharmacy in Boonville, NY. Whether this trade card and billhead are original to the cabinet one can only speculate. This comes from our personal collection as we are downsizing to a patio home and the spool cabinet must go to a new home. The cabinet is constructed of oak that reflects a rich patina. The cabinet has the very desirable panelling all the way around. Has four drawers with the original glass inserts ... moreand gold foil decals. The cabinet has filigree carvings down both sides. Has the original brass pulls that have a wonderful patina. Finished on all sides so the cabinet can be in the center of the room. The spool cabinet has a burn mark on the top but where one person will say that ruins the cabinet others will say it only adds character. This is an Antique/Vintage Singer Sewing Machine Key. It is the flat version. It's typically used on antique Singer bent wood cases and some cabinet drawers and bonnets. Make sure to look inside your lock first. This will NOT fit locks that use the"T" shaped key that has Singer part# 124428. This will also NOT fit square locks. It is clean.
