This beautiful English breakfast buffet server. In Art Nouveau design, is complete with two inner trays(which are intact and included) The upper tray is pierced to ensure that breakfast meat remain crisp. The egg shape allows boiling water to be poured into the bottom reserve, and the lid revolves and covers the food to keep it hot. Stylized lilies grace each of the four legs, both handles, and two cartouche chevrons in front, under the ivory/bone lift and in the back. Stunning Unique Vintage Antique Sideboard Server Buffet Table
This is an absolutely gorgeous old buffet sideboard table. This was purchased at an auction of an estate of a gentleman who spent the vast majority of his life purchasing and refinishing high end and hand made furniture. I was able to speak to him about this buffet and he stated the the front drawers were hand scooped/carved. The carved drawers really give this table a unique character. The sideboard appears to be made out of oak and it has a central green leather with gold trim inlay that allowed for hot plates and dishes as well as wet items to be set on top without damaging the wood. Buffet measures 30" high x 42" long x 19" wide. I can find three very small little rubs in the leather. Pinpoint size. The rest of the leather is in great shape. There are a couple of places where it appears that the adhesive leaked from under ... morethe leather. This buffet is solid and heavy! Joints are solid. there are three drawers.a lap drawer and two side drawers. All drawers work flawlessly and all rails for the drawers are solid. A one of a kind buffet. Absolutely beautiful. Cabinet doors, corners, down to the animal face drawer pulls and claw feet. Solid Oak Table. It's been in the family since 1934. It has minor flaws, you may want to refinish it. It is 60"X42" and has an 18" built in leaf. Table has a latch that you pull to open. Art Deco cabinet vintage 1930's marble topped sideboard buffet hutch antique
A fine Italian marquetry sideboard. It features impressive flame-mahogany and burl-walnut veneers, classic angle-fronted drawers, beveled and etched-glass doors, a marble top, scalloped edges, and bronze and Bakelite hardware. The piece comes apart in two sections, with the back and upper cupboards lifting off the base section. Dimensions are approx. 76" H x 62" W x 21" D. The piece is original and authentic. And as such there is evidence of minor damage to the veneer, with a few small chips on the top and front of some drawers, and the left hand glass door. I have attempted to show this in the last 3 photos. The effect is hardly noticeable, and does nothing to detract from the rather elegant majesty of the piece. Vintage English style Buffet with Oval Mirror. Sitting on Queen Anne style legs. Measures 48" long, 20" deep,36" tall to top side, Mirror is 24" tall and OVERALL height of this piece is 60" tall. Not sure of the species of wood, but you furniture hunters would know. As far as I can tell, it has all the original detailed hardware. I have up for auction. An antique DINING ROOM SET. The set consists of a large table that opens out on either end, there are 8 chairs, 6 side chairs and 2 captains chairs for wither end. There is a matching buffet that has the same wood& pattern. I believe this is Mahogany. There is what is called a stretcher like pattern under the table and the buffet. The chairs are upholstered, there are a couple of different fabrics, could not decide what I wanted to do them in. This came from an estate of a very well known Benicia family. Benicia was the first capitol of Calif. I have had this for 46 years, need to down size. Table measures 30" tall, 38" wide and 6 62" to 94" Long. This probably dates to the 1930’s and was used above a Buffet or Mantel. The Prints are scenic on either side of the Mirror. The art is signed by E. Artus. Please note: Because of so many reflections on a large piece. One of the pictures was taken outside and has reflections of the yard with patio furniture and trees in the center while the other one has white cardboard held up and it does not look like a mirror in the center. This piece has an art print on each side of the mirror. The frame and art are original. Lovely designs in the Gesso, glass over the art, filigree metal corners to hold the mirror securely in each corner, original twisted wire hanger on the backside. This is a wonderful Chinese sideboard or dresser. It would look wonderful in any room really. This was purchased almost 10 yrs ago for over $1.500 and, after being remarried this no longer is our décor.
