The stain is very slightly worn on the top of the buffet, right in front of the hutch. The rest of the top is in perfect condition. A wood oil would remedy any worn stain areas. This credenza can be used with or without the hutch. It comes with a flatware insert that can be removed. The insert is covered in the original purple velvet fabric which is in great condition. It has three drawers on the right.the top drawer is shallower and has the removable silverware insert and another partitioned section. The two drawers below are both large and deeper. It also has a sliding door on the left. Once slid over it reveals two shelves, which are easily adjustable. Since the shelf on the bottom left is adjustable this piece will fit anything and everything you need stored. This hutch comes with two sliding glass pieces that can be used or removed easily. The glass is original and in perfect condition with no visible scratches or nicks. I love this feature. It makes this piece very versatile as a shelf or with the glass inserted, as a place for your collectables or dishes. This china cabinet has grooves on both top shelves so that you finest plates or china can be stood up and displayed. I LOVE the brass drawer pulls. They are all intact, original and in great condition. This piece is authentic mid century yet still modern enough to not feel outdated. It has classic lines and a stylish. This is a Brickwede bros dinette set. Table 5 chairs and a buffet.It was made in Marietta OH 1840-1917. These were made from hand cut wood. They have been revarnished and original seat covers changed. The table has scratches but is not in the wood. The spring that holds one of the side folding leaf is a little week so it sags a little. That would be a easy fix.The table has claw feet. The buffet is in excellent shape. Has original handles. For being over 150 years old it's in pretty good condition.

Long top drawer does not close completely. Unfinished back and some of the trim pieces have fallen off. But are included. I am selling this for a friend who inherited it from his grandmother. This piece is in good overall condition for its age and has always been in a smoke and pet free home. It does have some condition issues like scratches and fading. Could use a complete restoration. Up for is a beautiful Jacobean oak dining room table. 6 chairs, and a buffet. There are 5 chairs and 1 arm chair. The table has leaves at each end that slide out from under the top. The whole set was refinished at some point and the chairs professionally recovered. There are some small issues with the table top. there is a dark stained area and small area in a corner where the veneer delaminated prior to the refinishing. This is one of our lovely custom pieces. It is a unique one of a kind piece that can be used as a dresser. Buffet, or baby changing dresser and then converted back to a bedroom dresser or buffet. The 4 drawers are embossed in a multilayer pattern and trimmed out beautifully with a black and ivory urns and a floral pattern in the center. It has vintage painted pulls. The insides of the drawers are also painted inside and out by hand in a cottage white paint as safe for babies as possible and sealed. The drawers are waxed for easy gliding. The top is done in an embossed flowing floral pattern and trimmed out in an 8 layer edging and the sides are done in a striped corduroy pattern. It has a wonderful mirror that is original to the piece. If used as a baby station we will include the baby changing box that can be attached in place of the mirror ... moreand then the mirror can be reattached when ready. She said that the beer kegs were right on top and they would pour from there. Also. They believed it to be valued around $5000. The piece is in storage so I don't have exact measurements but I would say it measures approx. 4' h x 6' l x 2'd and is heavy. It's local pick-up only. It has a beautiful beveled cornice decorated with fancy fretwork and it has two gorgeous reeded columns with beautiful scrolled capitals. The top of the cornice has a warped corner and a wood separation but they're not distracting all. On its back it offers a large beveled mirror that has some age appropriate flaws but they only validate its antiquity. The top surface as a beveled edge and a very nice surface and though it has minor scratches it is in good condition. The bases of the columns are slightly uneven but they’re not distracting at all. This buffet features four smooth operating drawers that are well constructed with dovetail joinery and three of them have traditional facings with very unique brass handles and fancy hardware. Carved Fruitwood 1700's Antique Country French Provincial Sideboard or Buffet. This wonderful Country French or Provincial sideboard or buffet was hand hewn and carved in the mid to early 1700's. Solid wormy fruitwood and walnut are well worn and have a rich old finish with warm antique patina. Wrought brass hardware and lift off iron hinges appear original on this imposing rustic furniture from southern France. Three drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and chamfered bottoms. Behind the doors is a later shelf. There are remnants of old wallpaper lining. As is typical, feet were rebuilt many years ago on this historic cabinet. What a grand sideboard! This is by far one of the nicest pieces of furniture in our 20.000 square-foot antiques mall. It stands an impressive 8 feet 9 1/2 inches tall. The main cabinet surface is made from one solid piece of wood that is over 1 inch thick, 63 inches wide and 21 inches deep. The 22 inch and 19 inch wide wood doors are carved from single solid pieces of wood! The craftsmanship in this piece is incredible. The hand cut beveled glass panes are still in their original condition. All of the original hardware and keys are in tact. The main door and crown are intricately handcarved in a beautiful asymmetrical pattern. The lower cabinet doors have a locking mechanism that runs the entire length of the door from top to bottom. It is Itlaian and ornatley craved with leaves. Flowers, vines, lafleurs, gargoyles, griffins, and grandfather wind in center peice. I have never seen a peice so beautifully craved and porportioned.
