Condition: Used Location: Spring City, United States Wonderful antique buffet sideboard. This is a true quality item! Superbly made and exceptionally heavy! Measures 72 inches across. Depth 23 inches across ... morefront marble. Mirror top to marble base. 26 inches. 46 inches from floor to marble base. Interior side shelves measure 17 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide. 2 side doors swing out to the side. Main body interior is 16 inches deep by 48 inches long by 30 inches tall. 2 front drawers with two side drawers. Swing out to the side as shown! Solid oak everywhere! Even the drawer linings. Draw sides and back are all oak and not an inferior wood. The interior is all oak. The doors lock but I have lost the key! Currently all the doors are unlocked! Inside at the back somebody cut a hole out. Not sure why that was done but it is there! The only newish part is an interior shelf which is in the main body. I believe it is still solid oak but it lacks the patina of the original. The glass is not damaged anywhere. The marble has exquisite shading and color. With pink, grey and purple variations. It has light scratches on the top and minor tiny chips on the edge as expected for a piece this age. It is not broken anywhere! The carvings are so wonderful with urns. Horns, ribbons, roses, tassels, swags and leaves. Both front panels have cracks on the decoration as seen in the photographs. Very reluctantly for sale! Local pick up preferred but we will work with your shipper or we can get you a quote from a company we use. Coast to coast is probably around $400 to $500 dollars. Non smoking home. We took the original wood down to bare wood and then it was conditioned and restained in Jacobean, it brought such delight to us with so much character shining through with the grain and different colors. The legs, fluting and some trim were finished in Black satin. A combination that was timeless but elegant, warm and inviting. Depth 23 inches across ... morefront marble. Mirror top to marble base. 26 inches. 46 inches from floor to marble base. Interior side shelves measure 17 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide. 2 side doors swing out to the side. Main body interior is 16 inches deep by 48 inches long by 30 inches tall. 2 front drawers with two side drawers. Swing out to the side as shown! Solid oak everywhere! Even the drawer linings. Draw sides and back are all oak and not an inferior wood. The interior is all oak. The doors lock but I have lost the key! Currently all the doors are unlocked! Inside at the back somebody cut a hole out. Not sure why that was done but it is there! The only newish part is an interior shelf which is in the main body. I believe it is still solid oak but it lacks the patina of the original. The glass is not damaged anywhere. The marble has exquisite shading and color. With pink, grey and purple variations. It has light scratches on the top and minor tiny chips on the edge as expected for a piece this age. It is not broken anywhere! The carvings are so wonderful with urns. Horns, ribbons, roses, tassels, swags and leaves. Both front panels have cracks on the decoration as seen in the photographs. Very reluctantly for sale! One pull out drawer and 3 tiers with lots of display space. Sizing: When the hutch is attaches. The whole unit stands 75" tall, 54" wide, and 18" depth. The lower alone is(32½"H. 54"W, 18"D) The Hutch is(~42.5"H, 51¼"W, 10½"D) Condition: Excellent for its age. There is a broken knob on the left cabinet door(base piece) This can easily be replaced. There is slight separation in the panel groove of that same cabinet door with the broken knob. This can also be easily remedied. Part of the panel backing of the main unit needs a couple taps of the hammer. Finally there is some ceiling paint residue on the top panel(out of view) atop the hutch piece. As in the other things. Functionally this piece utilizes its space very well. The two large cabinet doors lock with included keys and house removable wooden shelves(1 in the left door and 2 in the right) All four drawers open and close very smoothly on their wooden runners. The top drawer is fitted inside and lined with felt. Its original purpose was to store silverware but could be used for a variety of purposes today. Nice large oak recessed built in cabinet buffet. Removed from a old victorian home in upstate NY. It features decorative wood work. Beveled mirrors, cabinet, drawer and shelf space. The wood work is in good shape, a small split or crack can be found, there is a small amount of old paint in the crevices. The mirrors show light scratches and distress. The attached hardware is brass. All doors and drawers function as they should. Very lovely cabinet that would add loads of character to your home. Overall it is in very good usable condition. It measures 6 feet wide, 9.5 feet high and 16.5 inches deep. It features a shelved superstructure above rectangular surface fitted with 2 drawers on turned supports. The top is flat with a molded cornice, and the valance features a unique pierced interloop carved motif. Four grooved plate shelves. Lower section has a molded edge top over two half-width frieze drawers with old brasses which are not original. This section has a valanced apron on three baluster posts over a base shelf supported by block feet. Brasses are no original. The looping design of the frieze and the pierced apron are characteristic of dressers from the county ... moreof Shropshire in the West Midlands, just east of Wales. These are very old CDVs! most on ebay are from 1880/ 1890 to present these are pre 1880- I am listing all my CDVs separately they are from 2 separate trips to Europe one in 1868 and one from 1873 to 1874 This one is not dated except for the medal on the back says 1868- it is of the Das Buffet im Ritterfaal- at the time it was taken it was still in Berlin but I believe it has been moved to a museum? CDV is by Moser. These CDVs are in fairly good shape considering age- they basically look like old old b/w trading cards with some slight discoloration and wear. Custom Made Antique Finish Buffet Sideboard with Beadboard Pewter Tile Top
This is unbelievably awesome. First. It has a chocolate brown antiqued finish with a slight bit of silver antiquing to match the pewter tiled top. The knobs are pewter color as well. The tile top has a lovely edge on it that is also antiqued. This piece is bead board on the entire back and sides. The inside is a pale aqua with bead board back. It has a shelf on each side(inside) for extra storage. This piece holds a LOT of large dishes. The doors are German glass-mint condition. The drawers have more knobs on for decoration as it really has 3 drawers total and one of them is extra large. the way the knobs are on-it looks like smaller drawers but the two top drawers have 2 knobs each and the bottom drawer has 4 knobs) This piece measures approx 82" long x 38" tall x 27" deep. VTG Antique Sheridan Silver on Copper Coffee Tea Water Pot Urn Buffet DIspenser
Up for bid is a beautiful vintage silver on copper coffee urn/ dispenser complete with burner. It is a beautiful piece as is but could use a polish to bring it back to its original luster. The urn is marked by the maker on the bottom. It is hard to read but I believe the maker is Sheridan. It certainly looks very much like their mark and the Urn itself is very similar to other Sheridan styles. The urn measures approximately 17" tall, 7 1/2" wide at the base, 6 3/4 wide at the widest point of the dispenser, and 10 1/4 wide at the handles. The photo of the top and the close up of the legs most closely represents the true medium tone of the wood- unfortunately it's not in a very well lit area and without the flash it looks much darker and with the flash it looks much lighter; I've included some pictures with each so you can see the details of the grain. It is beautifully crafted with hand carved images of birds on tree branches with cherry blossoms on the doors and drawers and features brass hardware; ... morethe drawers are constructed with dovetail joints. The 2 pairs of doors open to reveal a shelved storage area. The doors and drawers operate smoothly. Well maintained. Excellent condition original finish with no splits or cracks, only minor wear commensurate with age. From a non-smoking home. We used it originally as a media stand, but it would function equally well as an office credenza, entry piece, sideboard, sofa table, linen storage, bedroom dresser, vanity, or buffet as originally intended.
