Condition: Used Location: Perkasie, United States We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique mahogany dresser with matching mirror. The maker of this piece is unknown and we believe this dates to ... morethe late 1800's- early 1900's. The dresser stands approximately 36.5" high. The width is 21 5/8" and the length is 46" The mirror is made from solid mahogany and has a beautiful broken arch pediment at the top with an applied carved design in the center. It measures 35.5" high to the top of the pediment. The width is 24 7/8" across the ached top and th emain body is 23.75" wide. Made from solid mahogany the dresser has a classic Chippendale style design with applied carved moldings on the bracket feet and reeded columns on the front. The dresser has four drawers with a divider in the top drawer. The drawers are all dove tail jointed and also retain the original brass pulls. The dresser appears to have had an early refinish job done on it. There are age and use appropriate scratches and dings on the top and feet. As well as a small white spot on the top. There is a small crack on the top left edge. There are also what look like fingernail marks behind the pulls. All of the drawers are tight on this piece. This is a structurally solid dresser. This is a previously owned item and it is being sold as shown. Please view photos carefully and feel free to ask questions. The drawers lock into place and are lined, wood on the outside. The top drawer has a key lock(not included) When you pull out the drawer, there is a leaver that you turn which unlocks the other drawers. The wardrobe side includes the hangers shown(5) and the top opens to ease in getting the hangers out. the metal slats for the hangers to slide out as well, however the right one is hard to push. Has a fabric cloth to cover the clothes from the drawers. This is a large heavy truck, but in pretty good shape for it's age and the number of trips it has taken over the years. The top(picture 6) shows the rip in the fabric. Has two tags on it. First is the Hartman Trunk co, Racine, WI. The other is on the corner and says Wasseman's, Grand Rapids, MI. That means this trunk went from the United States to Germany, then to Scotland and back to the United States. Measures 40" tall, 22" wide and 21 1/2" deep. Shipping is quoted with UPS. This is a beautiful Antique Walnut Armoire that I bought in the mid 1970's from an antique dealer in Germantown. Tn. It has simple lines with a deep crown top. The wood is in very good condition. The doors are slightly warped. There is no lock, just decorative pulls. It can be disassembled for easy moving. The bonnet is top part with two side panels, two doors, a mid section between doors, panels across back that fit together, two shelves on each side of a divider with a top shelf and the base that encases two small drawers. I have done this assembly myself so it is not difficult, just tedious. The Armoire is 7' tall and measures 52" wide. It is 18" deep, making it fit on a variety of wall spaces. I painted the inside side panels and wallpapered the interior to make it brighter. It is not glued, so easy removable. A wonderful antique. Circa 1870's, solid walnut Aesthetic Movement architectural three section armoire. Probably by a Philadelphia maker, School of Daniel Pabst. The armoire breaks down into several sections for shipment. There is a massive crest with stylized floral carvings, two carved pillars in Egyptian style, two front corner finials in Neo-Grec style, a pierced gallery of stylized florals. The center section door is mirror fronted, flanked by doored sections having burl walnut panels. There are three lower drawers with burl panels, the brass pulls and escutcheons in Aesthetic style. Includes all locks and two keys. The interiors of the armoire, and the drawer interiors are all solid walnut, the backing boards of the side cabinets in dark stained hardwood. The armoire measures 8'10" 106" tall by 7' 84" wide ... moreby 21" deep at base, the mirror measures 59" by 27" Excellent condition: original unworn finish, the ebonized accents without wear. All burl without chips. The base sections around have burl walnut, the sides with recessed walnut panels. All walnut boards without chips or cracks. In the distance past shelves have been added to the three section interiors. Shelves are easily removable, as are the screwed in shelf supports. We used Old White& Paris Grey for her accenting the drawers. Trim work and interior with the grey! Gorgeous carved top front, intricate legs and applied florets in the center of the 2 doors. We added new crystal or acrylic clear knobs. Good condition overall. Minor defects include chunk missing from very top flat portion of the armoire, see photo. We painted over it and it's very hard to see unless you are very tall! lol. Also, the drawers are a little loose and do not line up exactly in the front areas. We worked on it with carpenter so it's pretty good but not perfect! This auction is for a beautiful wood salesman sample armoire/wardrobe. I am uncertain as to the type of wood. Or it's age, however, the craftsmanship is very nice. The top is dovetailed, and in spite of a little bit of separation of the back from the top, it remains a very sturdy piece. It measures 8.5 x 3.5 x 5.5. There are two doors on the front, each with a long oval mirror. There's a large drawer underneath the doors, and inside there are two tray/shelves which are removable. There are some markings on the back of these shelves, as well as some pencil markings on the bottom of the piece. Please study all pictures closely, as I have tried to show all defects. Antique French? Hand Made Salesman's Sample Furniture Wardrobe Armoire W/ Drawer
Very nice antique salesman's sample wardrobe or armoire in French Country style. Piece measures 17-1/4" tall by 12-1/8" wide by 6-3/4" deep. It is quite old. No maker's marks or label on it anywhere. I think it is mahogany or walnut, very lovely deep reddish brown in color. It has one drawer, which is fully removable, drawer measures 8-1/2' wide by 4-1/4" deep by 1-7/8" tall. Doors and drawer have tiny wooden knobs, look to be original. Two shelves inside the armoire, doors have concealed hinges- pins in top and bottom of doors that are unseen from the inside or outside. Lovely cabriole legs all the way around, curved top is bent wood, quite a lovely and detailed cabinet. All looks to be hand crafted, hand made. Back is one piece of wood but does have a crack near the bottom middle of the panel and a small ... moreone near the top left corner, more noticeable from the back than the interior. There is one tiny sliver chipped off the lower right side corner, the chipped off piece is included and should be an easy fix with a dab of wood glue, the chip will be included for the buyer to repair. It does not sit quite level on all four feet, left front foot or back right foot would site better with a small felt pad applied which I will also leave to the buyer. Some very slight wavy areas to the top bent piece, more like a surface indentation or original grain imperfection, looks original. Overall, for it's age it is a beautiful piece! Would be a beautiful addition to your salesman's sample furniture collection or to your large scale doll and dollhouse collection. I accept Paypal. Payment is due within 7 days of end of auction. This listing includes a very unique and extremely old small wooden jewelry box that belonged to my grandmother. I don't know the exact age. But my mother(who is 84) said she got it from her grandmother and we are thinking that it is from the World War I era(early 1900's) as there were some family members involved in the war and could possibly have brought it home with them. So it is more than likely 100 years old or close to it! This box has been repaired in places and shows paint wear and overall roughness. However. WOOD FINIAL antique vintage old bed clock armoire furniture part salvaged piece
You are buying ONE(1) wood finial. about 7 1/2 inches tall. Appears to be a softwood. Stained dark. Lots of dings where the stain is chipped off. There are NO defects in the form. all the contours are smooth and undamaged.no chips or gouges. There are at least two places that are problematic. There is one line on the base that appears to be an original wood growth line. The other is a connected line on the top that outlines a large(2 inch chip) I think that the chip was reglued at the wood shop prior to staining because the line is stained and not a different color than the rest of the piece. it is round on the edges and looks like is was sanded prior to staining. it is very faint. However you will have to be the judge. I think this is a very nice piece(after touch up re-staining) and I will be happy to take it back. No questions asked.

Foyer, or other small space, this antique hall wardrobe was made in England around 1960. We recently imported it to our antique furniture store in Atlanta, GA along with a variety of other wonderful pieces. The wood used on this beautiful armoire is oak. Although it was made in 1960. It was done in a Jacobean style that has been around for hundreds of years. The main characteristics of this style are the linen fold ... morecarving(or scroll carving) found on the door and the geometric carvings found around the very top. The darkened hinges and escutcheon/ handle are also reminiscent of the Jacobean era. This is a very well built antique hall wardrobe. Whoever the maker was used quality techniques and materials to form a truly beautiful and long lasting piece of furniture. The oak has a lovely medium color that will continue to grow more beautiful with age. The door opens and closes easily. There is a lock and a key however it does not“lock” The key can be used to open the latch. But there is no traditional throw that locks the door while the key is removed. The button on the lock can also be used to unlatch the door. Inside there are brass hooks on the back side. A top shelf also has a brass hanging bar below it. This shelf is removable should you decide you don’t need it. This piece has a unique plaque on the inside of the door from the lock maker. It reads“Locks by“Asro” and claims if the lock needs servicing in the next 70 years it can be posted to the address on the plaque. While I wouldn’t recommend doing this. It definitely gives the piece some unique charm. Even after over 50 years of life.

An 18th century English linen press in figured walnut. It measures approximately 85" tall. The widest point is at the top molding- about 52" wide. The deepest part is also at the top molding- about 20-1/8" deep. At the mid-point down. It is about 50" wide and 18.75" deep. We do not know the maker. There is overall normal surface wear commensurate with age and use, including some dings and scratches as they are found commonly on antique furniture. The top molding in particular has splitting and drying due to age. We believe the hardware is original, and the key is included. Most of the original glue bucks are intact as well. The structural integrity is good and there are no major problems. The piece does break down into two pieces for easier transport. This is a beautiful late Victorian era Doll's Armoire. The honey hue of the wood is wonderful. The piece stands 12 3/4" tall at back. 10 1/2" to the top of the cabinet, 3 1/2" front to back. The glass doors open nicely, the drawer drops down when pulled out since there are no guides on the sides. There is a small round mirror in the top decorative trim; it has spotting probably due to moisture and/or age. Please review the photos carefully as they are part of the description. Note the small wood chip in the lower right corner of the right door trim. The right front leg is about 1/16" shorter than the other three. There is a slight skew front to back(seen best in the photo of the armoire laying on its back) These are points I describe in detail for exacting accuracy. In the end. Baker Knapp & Tubbs Fine Antique Style Cabinet, Armoire, Chest, GREAT LOOK!
Gorgeous…LARGE& Impressive…piece of Baker. Knapp& Tubbs…FINE furniture. From c. 1980's and cost just over 7,000.00 when new. Baker is the"Rolls Royce" of furniture! very well made and in a great, functional piece of furniture…for almost any room in your home. It is in an antique style ~~in a traditional"linen press" style… in pine.with lovely knots and graining…and can be used as a linen cabinet…a china cabinet…or a Television/Entertainment center Cabinet…with lots of beautifully made drawers with lovely dovetailed joining.and big open cabinet areas with sturdy shelving…it's very versatile…and, as you can see in a couple of pictures…the bottom looks GREAT by it's self if you just want a sideboard…or low credenza…It's the kind of furniture that belongs in a fine home like yours…and can be passed ... moredown to generation after generation. It has built in Electrical in the top section…the plug goes out the rear and there is a power strip on the bottom shelf of the cabinet. Very Functional…and very BEAUTIFUL. It has some minor scuffs and slight dents…that only add to the"antique style" of the piece…it's got solid brass hardware that's gorgeous…what you'd expect from Baker…and I did note…that when both doors are closed on the top cabinet…the right side…seems a little further out than the left…again, something very minor and hard to notice. The left door(top) when open shows a small loss which is not apparent until the door is open, and not significant, at the top of the piece.you can see it in the last picture.it is NOT visible when closed at all) The piece will be transported by"white glove" door to door movers to anywhere in the 48 contiguous states for very reasonable pricing…OR, I will gladly work with your movers…we have some great men with very good rates and service.and are hard to beat. Antique Armoire Mahogany and Burlwood Knockdown
Beautiful mahogany and burlwood knockdown armoire. With 2 people can be assembled/disassembled in 5 minutes. Dimensions are 88" high. 19" deep and 60" wide(at top) 54" wide in body. Consists of 2 doors, 2 drawers, top, base(on wheels) center panel and 7 tongue/groove back panels. Upright pieces fit on dowels into the base and top fits on dowels into upright center panel and side pieces. Four sliding tapered brackets secure the pieces together, top and bottom on left and right. Condition is excellent with a minor nick in the wood on right side panel. Doors have locks but no key. Age of the armoire is unknown but has been in family for over 40 years and has been used mostly to store linens. It was purchased from a family from the midwest. So probably originated there. For convenience. Three removable plywood shelves are ... moreincluded but they do not match the wood of the armoire. There is no pole for hanging longer garments but there are two little metal brackets on either side that may have been intended for a pole. Interior is unfinished wood for the most part. This truly is a woodcraftsman's work of art.

This superb antique and hard to find piece of doll's furniture dates back to early 1900 and will suitably store your miniature doll or French bébé trousseau dowry. Different of the faux-bamboo armoires usually seen on eBay. It displays the most delightfully hand-carved cornice pediment, an aged mirror door with the tiniest handle ever, a bottom working drawer and interior center shelf trimmed with a stunning ecru bobbing lace ribbon dentelle.
