MORE DETAILS: the color of cinnabar in this bracelet is the more traditional rusty red color that was used in the older cinnabar jewelry rather than that which is used today. Which is more red. The beautiful enamel cloisonné pieces that are set onto the base of the bracelet are very nicely done in shades of green, blue, pink, white and red. This bracelet is made in the traditional Chinese handcrafted manner, which is painting multiple layers of a distinctive rusty red color of lacquer onto a base material and then carving the resulting layers of lacquer with traditional patterns. The base material that was used for this bracelet was metal. The carving is beautifully done and depicts part of a lotus flower. Please email us if you have any questions. This is a beautiful old Chinese Silver and Painted Bamboo Bangle Bracelet and Earrings. There is a silver band with etched details that wraps around a black painted bamboo bangle. There are dangle earrings to match with screw backs. The bracelet measures 2 1/2" inside diameter and the band is 3/8" wide. The earrings are 1 1/4" I believe that the silver bands are sterling. But I have not tested them. There are a few small spots on one side of the silver band on the bracelet where the aged patina has been scratched off(picture 2) and it looks like sterling underneath. There are also a few small spots where the paint has chipped off, which is not really noticeable when you're wearing it. The bands on the earrings are the same silver content as the band on the bangle. This is a magnificent and very old Chinese Sterling Silver Repousse and Bamboo Double Band Bangle Cuff Bracelet. Two sterling bands with beautiful repousse work of lotus flowers and other decorative geometric and floral inspired details wrap around two bamboo bands with nice aged patinas. With additional sterling details of a Foo Dog or Dragon face on either side. There is even a delicate sterling rope detail between the two bamboo bands in the back. The bracelet measures 2 3/8" inside diameter and the sterling bands in front are 7/16" wide. There is a Chinese hallmark which I can't read but the back was tested( photo 8) and it is sterling. Large, hand-carved rich Carnelian stones in Buddha likenesses, each one slightly different and surrounded by beautifully raised and intricate filigree work. This is a beautiful Vintage/Antique Chinese Sterling Silver Coral and Turquoise Cuff Filigree Bracelet. There is a Cabochon set Coral stone in the center with a Turquoise Cabochon set stone on each side. All are surrounded by intricate filigree Etruscan details. The front is 1 1/4" wide and it is 1/2" wide at the ends. The inside measures 2 1/2" side to side and 2" front to back with a 1 1/4" opening in back. It weighs 40.5 grams. It's stamped"Silver China" but I also had it tested and it is sterling silver. I did not clean this piece. Antique Bracelet Wow! This auction is for a great and VERY rare antique solid gold bracelet. I found this bracelet is a very old Chinese trunk in a local Chinese families home. And the family immigrated here back in the 1910s. Looks like it hasn’t been touched since then and there was a note with it that indicated it was from their great, great grandma which would date it to the early 1800s(the note was written in the 1910s and it was in Chinese so I had to have it translated) The bracelet has a very primitive design with a ribbed design on the front and a really neat coiled gold spring feature at the back which allows you to adjust it slightly and get it on more easily. One of those springs is broken off but could easily be fixed. There are also some minor dents on the interior where it was bent to aggressively, but that’s what you’d expect ... morefrom a 200 year old bracelet. The bracelet tests at OVER 22K solid gold and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was 23K or24K. VERY soft and rather heavy for it’s size. Total weight is 16.4 grams and there are no markings. Originally these pieces came from a panel style bracelet with hand carved link chain. The links are very fragile, but you may be able to use them for something.
