Antique China Carved Cinnabar Filigree Silver Bracelet
This is a beautiful vintage sterling silver filigree bracelet with 5 carved cinnabar oval panels. Each panel features a carved flower. Perhaps a peach blossom. The bracelet is all handmade with a spring box clasp and a hook type safety chain. It measures 6-3/8" long and marked simply'SILVER' as is the case with most vintage Chinese jewelry. I am unsure of the age of this piece. The bracelet is in excellent used condition with no damage. I will leave the cleaning up to the buyer. Offering this original one-and-only(sadly) antique chinese hand carved green jade clip-on earring. I am out of my area of expertise on the one. But it is certainly an antique, and beautifully made. Birds and natural elements are depicted in the carving(please be sure to look at all the photos in close-up for additional details) there are small perforations in the jade that allow for the light to come through and add depth& beauty to the design. Silver metal. Probably sterling in detailed filigree encircling the carved jade stone. And continuing around to the back side where it is marked CHINA. It is too beautiful to throw away. Offered is an interesting GOLD-WASHED STERLING SILVER and CARVED JADE FILIGREE BRACELET made in CHINA circa 1950. The bracelet features 3 CARVED JADE panels with 3 FILIGREE BEE PANELS. Each bee panel feature 2 bees. Really nice. Great detail, very finely made. The filigree is really well done. The jade pieces are reasonably well carved, good color. Each jade piece measures 7/8 inches by 1/2 inch. Overall length of the bracelet is 7 inches long, 1 inch wide. It is signed"sterling" on the back, as well as signatures in Chinese. See photos.
