This is a fabulous and beautiful antique Chinese export art deco silver bracelet with an enormous large antique carved amethyst or lavender jade plaque. The distinctive Chinese silver filigree setting is breathtaking. This is a very rare piece for collectors. Do not miss it. Weight: 54 grams. Bracelet contains 6 beautifully hinged segments- four with bezel stones and two dressy and secure clasp. Bracelet is bulky and large in size, catching the eye from the distance. Bracelet is: 7" long, 6/8" wide and 6/8" high. Made in early 1900s by the best craftsman. Heavy gold plate over sterling silver(looks like solid 18K) Hallmarked SILVER. All of the colors in this gorgeous piece feature the same tone which gives the bracelet an extremely elegant style. Each Jade piece features a smooth to the touch surface and is in excellent condition. The Jade gem stones are separated by two gold spheres and one small green Jade bead! This separation gives the bracelet its own style as well as makes each individual jade piece stand out! Antique Chinese Export Deco Gilt silver? Jade inlay and faux pearl Bracelet
This stunning antique bracelet is marked CHINA on the inside. No other markings are evident but based upon research may be gilt over silver. I leave it to your judgment so please review all photos carefully. As you can see it is the finest handmade workmanship and the inlaid green stones apparently genuine jade. The pearls however are faux and have lost much of their finish over the many decades. Nevertheless it is a stunning piece. The clasp secures tightly and I would say it fits a smaller wrist. Measuring about 6 1/2 although the unusual shape makes it a bit tough to be sure. The diameter of the inside is approximately 2 1/8 inches.
