It has a number of desirable features that distinguish it from the typical run-of-the-mill cloisonne bangle: 1) It's wider and more substantial. Measuring a full 1/2" thick, rather than the typical width of 3/8"5/16" This makes the gorgeous cloisonne more visible, without making the bracelet all fat and clunky. It's a"best of both worlds" size- large enough to stand on its own, with the option of stacking it attractively with other bracelets. 2) The cloisonne is especially well done, with subtle shading and color-blending. As a result, the pink-and-white flowers and green leaves have depth and dimension, and the design is not dominated by guide wires. Up for sale is a Vintage enamel floral cloisonne dragon bangle bracelet that is very unique. This piece weighs 58g. Is 5/8 inch wide and it measure 3.5 inches wide. The cloisonne enameling is in fantastic condition and I haven't cleaned or polished it because I don't want to ruin the enamel by my lack of experience. This bracelet is decorated with elaborate floral designs flanked by a pair of dragons. The dragons meet each other with a little space left in between for easy adjustment on over the hand. The dragons and the inner band are a brass and copper mixture-this is the classic material on which enamel is laid for long wear. Please contact me if you have any questions about this listing.

There is no loss that I can ascertain, aside from the crack that is shown in photo#6 and again in# 10. The metal is in wonderful shape. No snags or loose ends. A dealer once told me all fine cloisonne is made with 18kt gold for the design. So how you gonna test that? Looks like it could be. The inside of the bracelet is brass I think. There are three holes which I am guessing aid in the process of creation. This bracelet was made for a princess. You should have it. Measurements are 2.50" diameter across and 1.25" wide. Most items I offer are ... moreat a minimum of 30 years old and most are more like 50-100 years and are going to maybe have a frayed end or some scuffs or something pertaining to age. I bought this at an estate sale. When I was taking pictures I noticed and chip on the inside of the bracelet. I show it in picture number 6. It is an old beautiful piece of striking colors and the deep cobalt blue. The raised enamel is on metal.which looks like bronze with copper trim and copper hinged closure and hinge. It is all hand done with intensive and careful work. It weighs 21grams. Perfect except for the inner chip.which can be repaired.It is 3"inches in diameter. 9"inches all the way around. The enamel. Is within copper encasing. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to email. It is a very unusual and. I believe, scarce piece.

VINTAGE CHINESE LARGE CARVED & HEAVILY GILDED CLOISONNE ENAMEL BANGLE BRACELET
Beautiful vintage Chinese large deeply carved and heavily gilded cloisonne enamel bangle bracelet. This big bangle measures 1" high X 2 1/2" in diameter inside and 3 1/4" in diameter outside. It weighs a very hefty 86.6 grams. The bangle's sides are elegantly domed. Carving is very prcise and well done. the shiny cloisonne enamel is bright and vibrant. Shadings are expertly done like a fine oil painting. The rich gilding is superb with no wear or discoloration that I could see. Interior enamel is a bright French Blue. I believe the bangle is made of brass or bronze due to its heavy weight. A lovely old Chinese cloisonne bangle in wonderful original condition. FREE SHIPPING IN USA.
