There are two plates that have minor frits to the rim and there are no other cracks chips or restorations. They all have Guangxu mark to the base and i believe that they are period. Marvelous large Chinese vase Qianlong mark, Xianfeng, Tongzhi or Guangxu period
This vase is absolutely gorgeous. There are warriors riding horses and an elephant, warriors on foot with a foo dog, I don´t really know what story the pictures are telling, but the painting is just stunning! The vase has two chips to the mouth, top rim and there is one additional 5cm long hairline to one of the chips, they can easily be restored. There is a Qianlong mark in red to the base and I believe that the vase is from the second half of the 19th c. It is 44 cm high and the base has a diameter of 12,5cm. I am no expert on Chinese porcelain. But bought this as it looked very nice. I am not sure the exact age, but possibly some experts in Chinese porcelain may know and if you do wish to share your knowledge then I’d be only to happy to hear from you. The marks on the base are as shown in the photos. The vase or jar has been superbly decorated in a dark blue on white with little flowers and other foliage. There ... moreare also two cartouches or panels both showing a figure holding something. Standing before a larger bearded figure, possibly an elder who is standing under the branch of a tree. The vase or jar is hand decorated in blue with oriental scenes and displayed beautifully. It measures in at approx 5” in height and 2 ¾” across the widest part of the body and the base is approx 2” edge to edge. Condition: The jar is old and has some age related wear. Also some discoloration inside at the bottom. This wear is in the form of little glaze nibbles around the foot rim/ base. Around the foot rim/ base there is also some black material fused to the foot-rim which could be ash or similar from the time of firing. There is also a tight hairline to the upper rim edge, which runs down the neck area, this I have tried to photograph. To the rim edge there is also a tiny little fleabite chip or possibly a firing imperfection which is barely noticeable. The base also has some old black ash or similar stuck to it from the time of firing. Still a fine example of Chinese Kangxi porcelain that displays well. A stunning example. An attractive set of five Chines An attractive set of five Chinese export porcelain tea bowls and five saucers. Decorated in blue, c. 1800 description: On offer is this highly decorative set of five scaloped Chinese porcelain saucers and five cups. Hand decorated under glaze in deep blue on milky white. The saucers show an ornate design of elaborate flower patterns, alternating landscapes, in ten reserves, surrounding a circular flower pattern, within a continuous border. The backs of the plates are decorated with foliage and marked with a single symbol mark within concentric circles. The tea bowls have a near matching decoration. All five bowls are marked with a Kangxi four character mark. They all have a flower decoration on the inside base and floral and landscape patterns on the outside, divided in reserves. There is some variety in the ... moredecoration of the items. As visible on the pictures. However, decoration varieties are often found on groups of Chinese export ware. The condition of the items is very good. Three saucers are perfect or near perfect, having some very small rim chips/frittings. One saucer has a rim chip, associated with a very faint and short rim hairline. One saucer has a rim repair(see picture) The bowls all have small frittings/minor rim chips; four have a faint rim hairline, hardly visible with the naked eye. Please view the pictures, which give a good impression of the wonderful quality and the condition of the objects. This group displays very nicely These antique cups and saucers were made in China in the end of the 18th or beginning of the 19th century. C. 1800. Although this type of tea ware was widely produced during the 18th century QianLong period, this could perhaps be dated slightly later. A fine Chinese famille rose saucer depicting chrysanthemum. Peonies and butterlies. To the base there is a Daoguang mark and its from the period. The plate is in a very nice condition, there is only a tiny firing defect to one of the bats on the rim, but no other chips, cracks or restorations. The plate is 14,5cm in diameter and 3cm high. The painting is just stunning with very bright colours, the rim is gilded. Description: This auction is for an exquisite antique Chinese blue& white crackle porcelain charger. With an incised brown ground base mark most likely dating late Guangxu to Early Republic period. This work of art features two fierce dragons& peony flowers. The bottom sides have bamboo painted on three areas. This charger is very heavy. once again marked on the bottom. The charger measures approximately 12 inches across. 1 1/2 inches tall. The charger is in good condition for it's old age; no chips. Cracks, or repairs. This is a crackle piece which looks like crazing throughout. There is one small impressed area, in the making, on the rim(see photo#11) Most of the bowl is more beige in color, but there are still areas of white. The crackle lines are brown.
