Fantastic vintage Art Deco charm bracelet Hand carved and painted ox bone or faux ivory faces.I believe. The images of the 8 Chinese Immortals. Though there are 10 charms total, so there are a few extra. The bracelet was found in a wooden box from Makino Bros& Co. Tokyo. Japan.though I do not think the box is original to the bracelet. The bracelet measures 7" long.it is complete with a charm attached between each long link. The metal is silver in color. Though the content is not marked. Excellent condition. No damage at all. The catch on the clasp is functioning, though does not feel real strong.it may need to be replaced with a more secure clasp. Thanks for looking. Antique Chinese Export Deco Gilt silver? Jade inlay and faux pearl Bracelet
This stunning antique bracelet is marked CHINA on the inside. No other markings are evident but based upon research may be gilt over silver. I leave it to your judgment so please review all photos carefully. As you can see it is the finest handmade workmanship and the inlaid green stones apparently genuine jade. The pearls however are faux and have lost much of their finish over the many decades. Nevertheless it is a stunning piece. The clasp secures tightly and I would say it fits a smaller wrist. Measuring about 6 1/2 although the unusual shape makes it a bit tough to be sure. The diameter of the inside is approximately 2 1/8 inches.
