This is a magnificent Vintage/Antique Chinese Sterling Silver Gilt Carved Carnelian Filigree Bracelet. There are three. Large, hand-carved rich Carnelian stones in Buddha likenesses, each one slightly different and surrounded by beautifully raised and intricate filigree work. The bracelet measures 7" length and it is just under 1 3/4" in width and it weighs a very substantial 86 grams. It's stamped"Silver" under the clasp, but I also had my jeweler test this and it is sterling under the gold gilt. The carved Buddhas on each side each have a small crack which I didn't even notice until I photographed this piece, photo 3,5) and I'm not sure if there are part of the natural stone or if it is from age and wear. Beautiful and quite large and heavy antique Chinese Nephrite Jade and Silver gilt hinged bangle bracelet. The jade bangle measures approximately 13.5mm in diameter. Exterior measures 3 5/8" and interior measurement is about 2 5/8" Weighs a very hefty 102.3 grams. Entire outer surface of jade is exquisitely hand carved with animals and deities. The large Silver Gilt hinge and clasp are both hand engraved with flowers and vines. Clasp opens when you turn the lovely screw mechanism which both locks and unlocks the bangle. works perfectly and is very secure. Offering this original one-and-only(sadly) antique chinese hand carved green jade clip-on earring. I am out of my area of expertise on the one. But it is certainly an antique, and beautifully made. Birds and natural elements are depicted in the carving(please be sure to look at all the photos in close-up for additional details) there are small perforations in the jade that allow for the light to come through and add depth& beauty to the design. Silver metal. Probably sterling in detailed filigree encircling the carved jade stone. And continuing around to the back side where it is marked CHINA. It is too beautiful to throw away. This stunning antique bracelet is marked CHINA on the inside. No other markings are evident but based upon research may be gilt over silver. I leave it to your judgment so please review all photos carefully. As you can see it is the finest handmade workmanship and the inlaid green stones apparently genuine jade. The pearls however are faux and have lost much of their finish over the many decades. Nevertheless it is a stunning piece. The clasp secures tightly and I would say it fits a smaller wrist. Measuring about 6 1/2 although the unusual shape makes it a bit tough to be sure. The diameter of the inside is approximately 2 1/8 inches.
