The bracelet has 5 intricate filigree panels with a orange coral stone in the center of each panel. Each panel measures approx. 1 1/4" x 7/8" The total length of the bracelet is approx. 7 1/2" including the clasp. The bracelet is marked"Silver" then what looks like the word"China" although the N and C are backwards. There is another emblem which I can't make out. The total weight of the bracelet is approx. 34.2 grams. This bracelet came from an Estate. I did not try to clean it in any way. It does have some areas of discoloration to the silver and will require cleaning or polishing. Some panels do not lay perfectly flat. The 3 in the middle have a slight curve to them. This bracelet has a stunning pierced design of flowers. Vines and flowers. The hinge and closure are chased silver. I have not tested the silver content of the silver. The silver section is marked with a block CHINA signature. The hinge is missing a small rivet which makes the hinge just slightly loose on one side. The bracelet measures just over 1 3/4" wide. The bracelet measures 9" around on the outside so should easily hold a 7" or so wrist. The bracelet is quite stunning. The silver could use some cleaning. The wood is free from any damage. This is a fabulous and beautiful antique Chinese export art deco silver bracelet with an enormous large antique carved amethyst or lavender jade plaque. The distinctive Chinese silver filigree setting is breathtaking. This is a very rare piece for collectors. Do not miss it. Weight: 54 grams. Antique Chinese export silver coral filigree bracelet, rare, huge, superb!
This is the finest example of an antique silver filigree bracelet that I have seen. I have researched many long hours to find one that can compare. My very best guess is that it is an Asian export that dates around the Nouveau period. The filigree work is without equal and comprised untold hours of painstaking silversmithing. The design of filigree appears to be Asian. It is marked.800 for silver and when acid tested, did turn deep red. The natural corals are in splendid condition as are the freshwater pearls that adorn this bracelet. The largest of the coral measures 15mm X 10mm. The inside circumference, closed, is approximately 7 3/4 inches. I have shown in a photo a tiny 5mm area of filigree of damage which can easily be repaired by a competent jeweler. I have put off having it repaired as it is so small that not one admirer has ever ... morenoticed. The height at the tallest area is just over 3 inches and the height at the clasp is just over 1 1/4 inch. The clasp is tight and the hinges as well. The weight is 75.3 grams. Due to my wrists being freakishly thin, the few times I have worn this, I have worn over my cuff. This bracelet carries a beautiful patina and I would not recommend cleaning this excepting only by a competent jeweler. Absolutely Stunning VERY Ornate True Antique Late 1800's Victorian Sterling Silver Chinese Export Link Bracelet With a Large Crysoprase Cabochon in the Center! This bracelet was made in China circa 1880 for export to Europe or England. It is made of English silver coins that were melted and pounded. Unlike U.S. coin silver" that is.900 silver. English coins were.925, which is why English pounds of this era were also called"Pounds Sterling. So yes, this is true Sterling Silver. And as explained below, it did test as such. The links are VERY thin, as was typical for silver export jewelry of this era. Chinese silversmiths of this time were some of the best the world has ever seen and this bracelet is ALL handmade! Yes. ALL! Someone must have gone half blind making this! Repousse(pressed from the reverse) pieces are very finely ... moreapplied, with extraordinarily fine twisted silver wire applied in filigree patterns of swirls, leaves, curls, and flourishes on top of them. For sale is a 7" long 5-link sterling silver and jade filigree bracelet. I am not an expert on this type of filigree. But a similar piece was listed as Chinese, Made for Export. The only markings on this bracelet is"silver" stamped on the latch. Extremely ornate and detailed filigree work, with each link meauring 1 3/4" x 7/8" and about 1/2" to the tops of the jade cobochons. Please use the pictures and your own knowledge to decide. Note the style of latch on the security chain. The acid test seems to me to indicate sterling silver. Bracelet and jade in excellent condition. At 45.3 grams, a magnificent piece.

These bracelets are rare to find as a single. But to find a matching pair is very rare. Offered is an early Chinese export pair of silver Buddha bracelets, cuffs, or armbands. They are hallmarked China Silver and test to be coin silver or higher. They are a fine example of various silversmithing techniques includng repousse and engraving. Each bracelet displays scenes in three panels with decoration surrounding them. The maximum height is 4 1/8 inches. The cuff interior around the wrist tip to tip measures approximately 7 inches. Total weight for the pair is 153.6 grams. The gap opening is flexible. Condition is good. Antique Chinese Export Silver Vermeil Filigree Bracelet Aquamarine Purple Spinel
This bracelet is very old and very spectacular and despite it's age. Is very wearable! Up for auction is this antique, Chinese Export, Chinese Silver Vermeil filigree bracelet. Bracelet features 3 cabochon gemstones- a large center purple Spinel approximately 1" slightly out of square with rounded edges, 2 tapered rectangular, rounded edge Aquamarines approximately 7/8" x 5/8" that look like they were from a single stone that was split in half as the inclusions are almost a mirror image of each other. Gemstones have been tested to be natural stones. Aquamarines have natural inclusions that reach the surface and are a light greenish blue; Spinel has multiple internal fractures and looks like it was dropped on one corner as there are a concentration of breaks in the stone at that point. There are inclusion and fracture lines ... morethat break the surface. But stone is very secure in mounting and there are no missing pieces to any of the stones. Bracelet has a beautiful filigree design- please see photos for details. Bracelet is tarnished and vermeil has faded. Mark on back is"China Silver" Clasp is a pressure box clasp that is tight. This piece weighs 39.8 grams. Measures 6 5/8" in length, center of bracelet is 1 3/8" and tapers to 1/2" at clasp. This stunning antique bracelet is marked CHINA on the inside. No other markings are evident but based upon research may be gilt over silver. I leave it to your judgment so please review all photos carefully. As you can see it is the finest handmade workmanship and the inlaid green stones apparently genuine jade. The pearls however are faux and have lost much of their finish over the many decades. Nevertheless it is a stunning piece. The clasp secures tightly and I would say it fits a smaller wrist. Measuring about 6 1/2 although the unusual shape makes it a bit tough to be sure. The diameter of the inside is approximately 2 1/8 inches.
