The baskets have probably wasted away by now. But some of the glass rings have remained and can be worn as bangles. This pair is exquisite. I collected these over time from different sources and was lucky enough to find two with a rare painted design. Of course, the double dragon with a pearl motif is a classic Chinese pattern but to find it recapitulated in two Peking glass rings is rare, indeed. Remember, they are very old and there has been some chipping of the paint on the bodies of the dragons on both pieces. Also, t hey are a little ... moreon the big side and my recommendation would be to wear one on each arm with other buffering bangles made of something softer. Fine and very old. In the traditional round banded form. Deep olive- apple color with black age spots and very nice complex figuring. It is getting much harder to find this untreated traditional Chinese green, especially in such great condition. From an old Chinese estate, this bangle came over with an immigrant family from China in the 1920's and is a late Qing/ early Republic piece.
