Authentic. Rare and unusual- this Art Deco Chinese export bracelet has a stunning blend of color, carving and design. The bracelet has two amazing natural Grade A jadeite beads that. By themselves, make this a valuable piece for any jade collection. The beads are approximately 9mm in diameter. We know these jadeite beads are natural Grade A by their color, translucence and the fact that, in the 1920s, jade was never dyed or impregnated with polymer resins. These beads are naturally beautiful but they do show some natural fissures(cracks) The three rose quartz beads measure 12mm(approx. and are carved with"shou" symbols. Their color varies from a pale pink to a deeper rose pink. They also have fissures and inclusions. The 10 amethyst disks are small(3mm across) and flank each of the five beads. The emerald green enamel links are ... morefinely detailed. Both front and back. There appear to be mixed metals on this bracelet. The clasp is marked sterling and the connector links for the rose quartz and jadeite beads are also silver. The enamel links. However, appear to be either brass or copper. While the bracelet measures 10 inches long. The clasp can be hooked in place to fit either a 7.2 inch wrist or an 8 inch wrist, depending on which link you choose. The clasp does need a bit of lubrication as it does not automatically snap closed. You have to push the locking device closed. We're not sure if this is a defect or it was meant to close that way. Weight of the bracelet is 17 grams. Please examine all photos carefully and note the condition report. This is an excellent piece of genuine Art Deco jewelry(it even has suffragette colors- green and purple) but it is antique and thus. Has wear.
