A fine Westminster chiming mantel clock by quality makers- Garrard. The 8 day movement is in a very good condition. Clean and operating perfectly. The clock chimes every 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, with full chime and strike with the hour(nice mellow tones) Measurements are 40 cm length. 22 cm tall and a depth of 13 cm, the clock comes complete with it's original chrome pendulum and key. Large Fancy Walnut Gilbert Office Clock. This model did not incorporate the Miranville Calendar mechanism. Some did and some did not. The movement is the original 8 day time and strike movement made by Gilbert and marked accordingly as you see in the pictures. This clock keeps excellent time and strikes on the hour promply. The dial paper is a reproduction Gilbert paper dial. The dial measures 11 1/2" dia. The clock case measures 31" tall x 19" wide. Original fancy details are intact. There are small pieces of veneer missing around the dial as usual on these clocks.hard to see. The dial pan is original but as usual in these old clocks the screws that secure the dial pan to the case have been moved to better secure the dial. The hands are original. The original fancy lower door glass has had some new wood pieces added to secure ... morethe glass into the door better. The back of the clock is original and I did not see any extra holes in the backboard. The original fancy pendulum is intact. The clock has been refinished in it's lifetime. Winding key included. An impressive hard to find Gilbert clock.

This is a fantastic antique victorian shadow box frame with a large tin type image of someone's sweet little baby from long ago. Walnut 3" deep frame measures 12" x 14" and has a 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" frame opening. Large tin type image is mounted under glass and matted with an oval mat that has a 5 3/4" x 7 3/4" opening. Tin type is in very nice condition. Walnut frame is good and solid. Has several chips to the gilt trim along the edge of one side along with normal age related wear to the finish of the frame. Hello and Thanks for Looking. Up for bids is this Beautiful Antique E.N. Welch Eclipse Regulator Wall Clock With Calendar. This Clock was Made somewhere between 1860 and 1890? There was a piece of paper in the clock when I purchased it from a local estate sale that says that the movement is 100 years old and it looks like the note was written in 1960 from what the note says(Please look at last Pic) If that is true then that could mean that this clock was made about a year before the Civil War started. Keeps Great Time and Calendar works. Case is made of Walnut and Measure 38 1/2 inches tall. 15 1/4 inches in width(at widest part) and 6 1/4 inches in depth(at thickest part) This Clock has a Revervse wind(wound counterclockwise) and comes with key. ANTIQUE DINING SET WALNUT BRICKWEDE BROTHERS These two pieces item were originally purchased in 1941 in Cranford. New Jersey with one owner for many decades. China Hutch/Cabinet Sideboard The China Cabinet is a solid piece with a clear glass panel that highlights fine china and glassware remarkably. Overall height is 74 inches; width is 40 inches; depth is 17 inches. The China Hutch top portion has a single 9 pane glass and wood opening center door with two three paned glass fixed side panels. The Drawer and Storage area has a sliding drawer and two burled walnut doors. All drawer and cabinet hardware is original brass. Inside the Storage Area is an additional full width shelf that is 10 inches deep measured from its back wall. An oval Brickwede brass tag can be found in the top drawer of the China Cabinet which possibly dates this furniture ... moreback to the early 1940's(see Brickwede Bros. notes below or google if unsure. The Sideboard Cabinet is matching and dated with inspection tag from October 1941. Overall measurements are 54 inches long x 17 inches wide x 36 inches high with a front that swerves out as shown in picture. Sideboard has two drawers at top, one full length drawer in middle and three opening doors at the bottom as show in picture. Hardware is original brass and all parts are in working condition. Some of drawers contain original black felt lining. Beautiful construction inside and out. These are truly beautiful pieces of furniture which are difficult to locate and also can be restored to original condition with a little bit of work. This is a unique and very pretty vintage ice bucket. It is made of solid American Walnut wood with brass stem. It shows wear due to age and usage. There are small dents and scratches mainly along the top edge of the apple where the lid is being placed. There are some barely visible dents on the lid and there are scratches on the bottom of the jar. The glass inside is in a good condition there is a tiny little dent and some tiny scratches, hardly visible. The stem has some dents and discoloration due to age. EXCEPTIONAL WALNUT VICTORIAN RETRO-FITTED SEWING MACHINE
This is an exceptional walnut and burl walnut 1880's Philadelphia made treadle sewing machine case retro-fitted with a Necchi Model 524 FB electric sewing machine. The manual accompanies. The walnut case was in excellent condition when we bought it 15 years ago and we had it refinished then. A cabinetmaker removed the original treadle machine and professionally mounted the Necchi machine. The top opens as it always has and folds over to provide a work surface to the left of the machine. The sewing machine itself folds down like the original so the case can be closed and positions up on a hinged piece like the original machine did. The interior of the case is remarkable tiger and birdseye maple retaining its original finish. The bottom drawer of the bank of drawers has been removed to facilitate wiring and we saved the drawer front. As ... moreyou can see in one of the pictures. The dimensions of the case are 31 inches wide X 22 inches deep X 30 inches high. Although it's not a big piece of furniture, we have downsized and just do not have the space for it. I'm certain that if you have a different sewing machine and the dimensions are nearly the same as the Necchi, you could replace the current machine. That will have to be your project, not mine. The best side of the cabinet is seen in the third picture above. The gallery picture is of the plainer side. So study the pictures for details of the cabinet work. If you like American walnut Victorian furniture or even quality dark wood furniture you will go a long time to find a nicer and better antique sewing machine case. Offered here is a gorgeous Large Antique Louis XV Style Walnut Armoire(French) circa 1880-1910. This piece is in very nice condition. It features beautifully carved provencal style flowers with basket at center. With a serpentine shaped apron raised on cabriole legs and original hardware. It features 1 shelf, but more could be added and the original key. The only flaws to mention is a split in the floor of the piece that does not affect the armoire structurally(see picture) and repair to repair to back legs. This piece is a great decorator piece! The radio has 6 tubes which allows a RF stage that provides more gain than the typical AA5 tube sets. It has a nice wrap around grille. It has the original back that you don't see very often. The paper and electrolytic(filter) cap's. have been replaced. Along with the weak tubes, plug and the dial lamp. An alignment was performed and the controls cleaned and lubricated. Oozing sophistication and charm, this credenza is the absolute epitome of Victorian high society. The entire piece highlights the unique and truly exceptional pattern of the burr walnut grain. It has elegant glazed bow end doors on either side. It has a panelled door in the centre with a beautiful hand painted Sevres porcelain plaque which depicts a beautiful pair of cherubs. It has wonderful kingwood crossbanding and boxwood inlaid decoration. There are fabulous ormolu mounts and an elegant pair of burr walnut half columns flank the central door. Antique Primitive Walnut Wardrobe
I am pleased to offer for sale this primitive Walnut antique wardrobe-circa late 19th to very early 20th century. This walnut wardrobe is tall. Primitive and very heavy; it does not knockdown. It features detailed woodwork on the doors and has two bottom drawers that pull out. Approximate measurements: 78" tall from the floor to the top of the crown molding(removable) 48" wide and 17" deep Interior measurements: 59 5/8" tall; 15.5" wide; 46" deep Drawers: 18 1/4" wide; 14 3/8" deep dovetailed ends The sides are solid walnut with the top. Back and bottom made of solid pine. The doors are walnut and are around 7/8" thick. There are several old hooks as well as a clothes pole inside the wardrobe. The drawer on the right side has two small metal pieces tacked-on(not sure why) It has been in my family ... morefor over forty years. Complete Original US WW2 M1 Garand walnut stock set
This stock appears to be from mid to late WW2. The only remaining marking that I have found is the circle P proof stamped in the curve of the pistol grip. I can see no remaining cartouche however. I do not believe that the stock has been refinished. Has the original oil finish. This is the real deal government issue. All the wood for the M1 with no metal fittings.

This clock has some minor case issues. But looks nice hung up and runs well. The door has been repaired and rehung, the dial shows wear, and the gong sounds a little tinny, but I hung this and it started running immediately. Freshly polished just before pictures were taken and is ready for display. Minor blemishes of a 130+ years old item– worth of it is a drying wood crack on one of the carved corners around the dial and few minor dents are pointed out on close up pictures.
