No cracks just a few small scratches it looks like near the end of G2.It scores only 52 1/8. It has 10 points you can hang a ring on. Not a high scoring shed but sure cool looking. 5.Here is a great set of Canadian Whitetail Deer cut off antlers. They have been cut under the base so the whole burr is there. It is a very even 4x4. Awesome beading from bases up the brow tines and past. Very dark in color. No cracks or chews. Very nice. The right antler scores 60 1/8, Left is 60 5/8. I gave them a 17 inch inside spread and the score of these is 137 6/8. Both main beams are just over 22 inches. Great looking even set. Here is a genuine antique RF&P railroad oil/water can with spout that we recently found stored in an old shed. According to the present owner. His grandfather used this can when he worked for the RF&P Railroad Company many many years ago. Can measures almost 16 inches from bottom to top of wire handle. Just the can itself, without handle, measures slightly over 11 inches. Can is fairly good size, measuring almost 9 inches in diameter. The last picture I took of the can shows a quarter at the bottom for size reference) As you can see by the pictures, the bottom and the entire can seem to be in good shape for its age. The lid fits properly. The can is all metal and was painted at one time, but some of the paint has worn off over the years. Only one small shallow dent in back of can near bottom. Three out of the four shed antlers are fresh and display amazing color. Antler#1: This antler is a typical five point and has a split browtine with six scorable points. It was found fresh and displaying amazing color. There isn't a single chipped tine. Good tall tines with a very nice mainbeam. Antler#2: This antler is a typical five point and also displaying nice color. It was found fresh. The only flaw on this antler is that the G2& G3 have naturally chipped tines that have been smoothed over. The chips are minor. This antler also displays a very nice mainbeam. Antler#3: This antler is a typical four point and displays a very good mainbeam for being a younger deer. This antler displays great ... morecolor and is in perfect condition with no flaws. Antler#4: This Antler is a typical four point as well. This antler was found the year after the deer had shed. Most of the color has been faded. There are no chipped tines however. The Shed: For sale is a very large naturally shed mule deer antler with cracking from baking in the Colorado sun. This shed has a 2.5 inch eye guard and a bladed G3. It has heavy 3.75 to 4.75 inch mass measurements. The single shed scores 76-77 inches. The Story: The day I found this shed. I had spent hours hiking the mesas of Colorado with little to show for it and had a dark storm looming ahead. The juniper maze I was in finally opened up to a clearing, where I spooked a group of three wild mustangs. I had my camera handy to snap the photograph shown. The territorial group ran off and approached me repeatedly while I took photos. Enjoying their company, I tried increasing the distance between us to keep them around. Wishing they could respond, I asked the mustangs out loud, Where are all the sheds? I know you've seen some. Single shed has a roof that slides on and off. Items are in poor to fair used condition.
