Up for auction is an American Flyer prewar O gauge# 595 Talking Tool Shed along with its instructions. Track contact piece and original box. As may be seen in the photos, this rare and desirable piece is in exceptional condition. There are only minor marks on all painted surfaces as you can easily see in the first four photos. I checked the motor and it runs very well. I was not able to check the sound since the record is badly warped but the reproducer is present and still has its needle as may be seen in the ninth photo. The track contact pieces is also shown in that picture. All wiring is original and as you can see in the last two photos, the instructions are also present making it easy to hook everything up. While the record is not useable replacements and reproductions are available. Finally, the box is rock solid and square with a ... moregood label as you can see in the second photo. This is a great piece that should be of interest to collectors of unusual Gilbert era O gauge items in a condition rarely seen. Being offered is this very nice and rarely found vintage Dedham Pottery The Potting Shed 2 Piece Round Domed Butter or Cheese Dish. The under plate measures approximately 7" in diameter and the domed lid stands approximately 3 1/4" to the top of the finial. It is in the traditional off white pottery with cobalt blue crackle glaze. It has a hand painted band of crouching rabbits around the outside lower portion of the lid. The artist's initials and place and date made(U.S.A. 80) are to found painted inside the dome. This 2 piece set is in very good vintage condition with no flaws noted. Like most of the Dedham inspired pottery to be found these days, it was manufactured at The Potting Shed in Concord, MA. Combined shipping is gladly offered and free local pick up is always welcome.
