OOAK original Halloween Skelly Bobber from Kniffen Hollow folkart and primitives
Untitled Document Bone Daddy Skelly Bobber is a OOAK original character made of painted muslin and paper clay with needle sculpted and painted facial features. His head measures approximately four inches wide and he stands eleven inches high. Bone Daddy is mounted on an old coiled bed spring that I’ve painted black and trimmed with spooky black fabric. His hat is painted muslin. Trimmed with black spooky fabric and has a paper clay bone hat band. My dolls are completely hand stitched from top to toe. I use good quality fabrics and will always try to choose unique fabrics and trims. And vintage materials when available. Some misc. items are always set about my house for Halloween. Anything black. Orange& green are fair game. Last Halloween I picked up this sweet old leather& patent shoe so worn there's a cute hole. But sadly it was a onsey. The bingo cards. Work& are complete. The orange& green one is made in USA.it has a bit of staining by"B" row- but is old& cool. The black one is the coolest! It's made for the VFW 950 in Mankato. MN. It's stitched around the edge& has metal slides to close the black pieces over the numbers as they're called. Logo shows"Bingo King Co. Stanley No.0 and Henry Disston & Sons Keystone Wooden Levels Antique Primitives
Here's a pair of antique and primitive wooden carpenter's levels. One is Stanley Rule& Level Co. New Britain. Ct. No.0 24in. level with the end bubble vial missing and wear with scratches, scuffs, nicks and dings and end cracking of the wood. It shows its age. But is still remarkably straight and true. The other is a Henry Disston& Sons. Keystone Tool Works Philad'a, USA No.05 20in. wooden level with a pat. date of"Oct.29, 1912" with both vials intact and working. It has wear with scratches. Scuffs, nicks and dings and minor end wood cracking. The brass on both levels has a wonderful patina and both have an aged and primitive appearance. Nice pair of antique levels whether for use or display!

Set of 2 Holland Bowl Mill Wood Bowls-Off Round Primitives 12" & 14"-Hardwoods
Set of 2 Holland Bowl Mill Wood Bowls-Off Round Primitives 12" 14" These were an estate sale find. Stored in a box in the attic for some years. They are both in good shape with the smaller one showing some signs of use and more dust. Because vegetable oils were used on the bowls they have a smell to them that is not awful but not good for food. They can be pretty easily be restored to a good clean smell and properly seasoned. These bowls are made from northwest hardwoods-Beech. Maple, Cherry-I'm not sure which of those these bowls are made from(probably Maple) but whatever it is it has a beautiful grain! They could be stained for display if they will not be used for cooking. Holland Bowl Mills is one of only two hardwood bowl manufacturers left in the U.S. Their large hardwood bowls retail for the $145 and up. From the Holland ... moreMills website http:www.hollandbowlmill.com/faq.htm Q. Can a wooden bowl that has an unpleasant build up and/or a rancid smell be saved? A. Yes. A wood bowl can be revived by using a non-abrasive scrub pad, lemon juice, and pumice dust to remove the oil build up that has probably occurred over many years of use. This build up is likely caused by the use of a vegetable based oil or lard to preserve the bowl. Unfortunately using vegetable oil creates a breeding ground for bacteria, which then builds up and becomes gummy or tacky to the touch. In most cases using the pumice and lemon juice will safely remove the old layers of vegetable oil and the smell. It will probably take more than one application of lemon juice and pumice to do the job. Once the old oil layers are removed, clean the bowl with warm water and a mild soap and hand dry. When the bowl is completely clean and dry apply a coat of to properly preserve your bowl. Condition Notes: Bowls are in good shape even if they started out off round a bit-no cracks or chips but they have an oil smell that can be treated(see link below. For sale are 3"Pottery Primitives" 2 are stacking jars w/ lids and the large one is a ginger jar. They feature the artwork of Karen Hillard Crouch. The lids just set on the jar with under rim and not seal tights. The large one is approx. 5 1/2" tall. The next is approx. 3" tall and the smallest is 2" tall. They all are in good condition with no chips or cracks. I ha ve been selling for 42 years so ask questions if you would like. I have been getting good reviews so check me out. I am old school and would not be selling items I wouldn't have in my own home. Vintage HATTIE CARNEGIE'Primitives on Parade' Piranha Fish Brooch Book Piece Watch Out! Vintage Hattie Carnegie piranha fish brooch from her'Primitives on Parade' collection. The brooch is fashioned in two lucite sections separated by a row of pave ice. One is black lined to represent the fish's scales. The other is faux jade lucite with that ferocious, gleaming gold mouth. There are three faux jade glass beads at the top and one in the bottom fin. Two lines of pave ice give sparkle to the lined tail fin. The eye is a faceted clear chaton in a bezel setting. The brooch measures 2" long and is 1 1/2" wide.
