It is mostly clear distorted glass with yellow accents along the ... moretop. When together. They form an arch. They are in the original frames which are painted on one side. Each measures 29.75 wide by 22 tall and are 1.75 inches thick. The other end is 15.5 inches tall. The glass only measures 26 by 12.25 inches and 18 inches. They are 1.75 inches thick. Overall they are in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. There are a couple of tight hairlines. Up for bid is a vintage stained glass window. It's actually a vent also. The main window is a house scene and measures 11 1/2 by 6 1/4 inches. Large scale cast metal chandelier with original factory finish and stained glass panel. Ornate cast metal body features 10 lights around the perimeter and 4 sockets on the interior to backlight the stained glass panel. Panel exudes a warm glow when illuminated. Believed to have been salvaged from a local theatre or hotel lobby. Fixture has been disassembled. Washed, reassembled, and rewired with period appropriate cloth covered wire. See image 8. A windswept girl in evening dress and fur wrap walks beneath a tree with a passing seagull. An image which is similar to ceramic designs of the period by Clarice Cliff. English. Circa 1925. This extra large piece is actually one half of a pair of extra large double windows from an old English home. The size of the window will also allow you to display it as a transom! Restored 8'x3' Vintage Mid Century Modern Leaded Stained Textured Glass Window
Penn Antique Restoration. 8' x 3' Vintage Mid Century Leaded Stained Glass Window. What an extraordinary find! This spectacular. One-of-a-kind, vintage window was salvaged from Southeastern Pennsylvania. It's comprised of hundreds of pieces of glass; green, blue, pink, yellow, and clear. The majority of the pieces are textured. The design is of an urn flanked by 2 swags. Notice the 2 green and blue rondelles in the center-what great accents! The sash is made of solid walnut, and is finished on both sides. At the point of salvage. 99% of the glass was intact, but the leading needed some serious reinforcement(see last photo) We brought it to our local stained glass repair shop and they did a fantastic job-as usual! The job took about 2 weeks and cost about half of the current sale price. Every piece of glass was carefully removed, ... moreand every inch of leading was examined and straightened; all joints were reinforced. When we first picked up the window. I was amazed to see that there were no vertical bars to support the weight of the leaded skeleton and glass-most likely the reason why the leading sagged as bad as it did. However, as you could see from the photos; 2 vertical stress bars have been added to the interior side to ensure that the leading will remain tight and strong for decades to come. We're actually selling the window on behalf of one of our best customers. The window was purchased. Restored, but was never installed where it was meant to go(see 2nd to last photo) The home and the project were let go. Antique American Stained/Beveled&Jeweled Glass Window
fid#10053 A very nice Antique American Stained/Jeweled and Beveled Glass Window. Most likely from Chicago, circa 1895. This window, still in its original frame measures 34" x 35.5" The window has had a couple of restorations. Much of the lead work has been touched up in the sense of repairs to broken joints. Some of this work was good, some just passable. When the window came into my hands, it needed to be flattened, re-cemented and one of the rondel had a chunk missing. Fortunately I have a quantity of antique rondels which are the same size at the ones in this window, however they are more transparent and less brown then the originals. Rather then replace the one damaged rondel and have an obvious mis-match, I elected to replace all 6 of the rondels with the matching old stock. At this writing, the window has been flattened, re-cemented, ... morenumerous joints were re-soldered and the frame was stripped of old paint. I see no signs of replaced glass. Large antique stained glass window (circa 1919) 32x43 dimensions
For sale is one antique stained glass window. This was salvaged from a Baptist church built around 1919. Exterior dimensions of the window frame are 32 inches by 43.5 inches. The glass is in good shape except for one of the yellow panes. Which has a crack through it. There are no other cracks noted. The window frame is in decent shape but extremely dirty. This window would be a great decoration with a bit of cleaning and a fresh coat of paint on the window frame. this Arts and Crafts window measures a little more than 34 inches long or wide and 21 inches tall. It has one pane with 2 stable cracks. all original glass and frame. the frame is painted. House. Weight is always the total weight of the object and may or may not give a good idea of the scrap value as I do not guess the weight of wood. Mirrors, screws, bolts, or anything that may not be silver or gold. I do not take apart or clean anything after listing an item. It is up to the new owner to clean silver and other metals. My scale computes to the nearest gram and it has been tested and calibrated. A note to silver scrappers: There are those on Ebay who will claim that the weight of an object is less ... morethan advertised and demand a rebate after the auction has ended. This is an ongoing trend and these individuals seem to complain if silver prices go down between the day they buy and the day they receive. When one melts silver one can lose as much as 5% of the weight in the smelting process and I can not be held responsible for weight lost after melting. I do not generally melt anything that is well made as it makes little sense to me. So any potential loss should be considered before purchasing my items.
