A total of 6 adjustable(2 for each section) removable shelves are found in this phenomenal bookcase/china cabinet. The dimensions of the 4 adjustable side section shelves are 10” in depth by 18” in width and the dimensions of the 2 adjustable center section shelves are 11 ¾” in depth by 23” in width. Please note that this piece will break down into 5 pieces for transport(top, bottom, 3 glass doors) Elegant details found on this Fabulous Walnut Victorian Triple Door Bookcase/China Cabinet with Three Drawer Cabinet Base(Circa: 1870) The top is graced with elegant dimensional crown moulding. You will notice the beautiful dimensionally carved acanthus scroll sconces that accent the top sides of the center door. Lovely raised triangular-shaped panels also adorn the top of the center door. Each of the lovely bookcase doors are holding their original wavy glass and graced with applied moulding. Accented with rosette roundels along with incised fluted details. There are a total of six adjustable storage/display shelves. Additional storage opportunity is found large bottom compartment with doors and in the three handsome dovetailed drawers on top. This measures a total height of 80 in( 6 ft 8 in) A total width of 34 inches and a total depth at the deepest portion of 14 3/4 inches, and the approximate weight of this piece is 55 lbs. The top of this etagere offers a incised carved pediment that rests between an arch. With raised carved panels of walnut accenting each side. Below is the vintage replacement mirror that is in excellent condition and measures 29 in high by 16 inches wide. Finely turned walnut spindle posts with turned finials, flank the mirror and offer support for the display shelves on each side. Below the mirror is an additional carved display shelf that is supported by a pierced carving. The largest shelf rests below the mirror and boasts of feather walnut and offers a unique small storage drawer below with early hand-cut dovetailed joints, and an open carved small gallery at the back. Offered here is a Globe Wernicke Sectional File top. The metal band measures 17 3/8"long. Overall the top measures 18" x 41 1/2" The top has been stained and then refinished with 7 coats of Orange and Blonde shellac, 2 coats applied with brush and 5 additional applied with pad in a french polishing technique. It has some minor flaws but overall is in excellent condition and is ready to use. Please ask any questions before bidding.

Antique Oak Globe Wernicke Bookcase top D - 299 1/2 - Barrister
Offering here an antique Globe Wernicke Sectional Bookcase Top. Marked pattern 141. Grade 299 1/2. Measures 34" long, the metal bands on the sides measure 11 1/2" long. Finish appears to be original with some finish added. This top would also work with a Macey sectional bookcase or a Hale bookcase with similar depth. If you are in need of sectional bookcase parts and hardware. Lawyer OAK Bookcase LEADED Glass top shelf
We are selling a Lawyers Oak Bookcase that has leaded Glass on the first top section. However. The bottom two levels had the glass break when it was moved. It looks like an easy fix and probably won't cost much to have them replaced. SORRY NO SHIPPING, LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. PAYPAL or Cash at time of pick up is OK. Bottom edge of top section that mates with bookcase section measures apprx 33 inches long by 12& 7/8 inches deep. G/W label on inside of unit reads. 7313T Genuine Globe Wernicke product. Look at photo of label. Label has aged badly and is lightly attached. The Globe sticker on front/center of section has been painted over. Condition: Section is straight. I see no dents or structural damage. Notice government inventory control sticker on right hand edge. I do not know if color is original or if it was repainted. Although free of dents. Finish bears considerable scratching, marring, aging, and wear. On both side ends, there appears what looks to be spot where sticker was ... moreremoved or painted over. Look at all photos. Mates and locks down tightly to bookcase section. Use as is or sand and paint. Shipped to you via insured. Well-padded, parcel post mail with a tracking number included. Very Difficult for me to photograph.So please take a good look at what I've been able to provide.Basically a VERY STURDY and Completely Structurally Sound Piece.But it being the top people put things on it and it shows the results with some light scratching and wear and most notably what I believe people refer to as water marks,maybe there was a plant set on top and a little liquid spilled over.on the right a spot about 3" by 3 1/2" and just in back of it a spot which varies 1 1/2" to 2" wide by about 17"The spots are not good but they are not terrible either and may very well polish out,this is not in my realm of knowledge and felt it better left untouched by me.ALSO depending on how high you're building your bookcase it may not really matter anyway if it is a Tall Bookcase and out of sight.FRONT and SIDES ... moreare in Nice Decent Presentable Shape.
