It is large in size and features a"corbeille" or basket shape with a triple padded back and cushioned seat. Circa 1899. The hand carving is of the finest quality with artfully designed scrolls, acanthus motifs, flowers and leaves. The top and base frame carvings are asymmetrical in shape, further emphasizing the fluid lines of this impressive piece. It is in its original finish with beautiful patina.
