Up for sale in this no reserve auction is an absolutely georgeous c.1947- c.1950 Norris Furniture Mahogany Buffett. All original. Never restored and highest quality. The dimensions are: 54" wide, 20" deep and 36" high. The center drawers are 24 1/2" wide. The lining in the silverware drawer is original and perfect, as are the hardware and locks. I had to retire as an antique dealer several months ago due to a major heart attack. I currently select one or two outstanding pieces of furniture and market them from my home on e-bay. This is one of those outstanding pieces. This piece came out of an estate house. Owned by a woman who was married in 1947. It measures 10 1/4" diameter X 2 1/2" is in good shape with no chips or cracks, but does have some light tanning inside from age, and light crazing on the bottom. It shows some very minor wear arond the edge, but looks like it was hardly used. There is a greenish color border and has designs on the inside as shown in pictures. This is a lot of 6 small pieces of Renwal Doll House furniture or items. Many Renwal pieces were made in the late 1940's and 1950's when plastic was making mass production more feasible and doll house were a bit of a craze. This lot consists of a straw broom with a tiny dust pan attached. Vintage. Retro, metal/chrome, 1950's kitchen set. Includes a table that is cream, gray colors with a leaf and 6 chairs that are cream, tan, gray. It measures 35 1/2 x 47" without leaf and 59 inches with leaf. This set is in very good condition and the chairs don't have any rips. It just doesn't match my new décor. Very sturdy and no rust. The leaf is missing the trim on one side so the other side is removed but I have it. The pictures show the table without the leaf. With the leaf, close up of chair and close up of table. You're bidding on a(6) Piece 1950's Leather Western Wagon Wheel Furniture Set! This six piece set includes(2) end tables. A coffee table, a porcelain cowboy boot lamp, a rocking chair, and a couch that folds down into a bed. As you can see in the photos all the furniture pieces besides the end tables have wagon wheel spoke accents. The couch and rocking chair material is leather, and both have neat embossed scenery. On the right end of the couch the wood on the front leg has split, it would need to be glued and clamped. Also, the tops of the rocking chair and couch is a little messed up, more so on the rocking chair, someone must have had a cat that at some point clawed the crap out of the leather. There is a little split on the coffee table leg area and someone placed some wire around that same leg, maybe that wire was to hold it ... moreinto place, not sure. The top on the coffee table has come lose and needs to be real glued. There is a little wear through the wood on this set, so if you'd like it could easily taken apart, sanded, and refinished, I wouldn't, but who buys this, it's up to them. The lamp shade has some staining as you can see in the photos, and I think that's about it. I mean this set is from the 1950's. it's going on 70's years of age, I believe it's in pretty good shape considering that fact. I put the little blanket in just for looks really, but if the winner wants it too, that's fine. I purchased this set for myself to put in my home, but for the right price, I'm willing to part ways with it. I found the same set on another auction site that sold for $1,600.00, that set had a refurbished rocking chair, to me that kills the value a bit, cause it's not original. Also found another set that I think was a little worse off then my set and they were asking $1,600.00 for that set. Neither set had the original porcelain cowboy boot lamp either! Vintage Plastic 1950's/1960's Furniture Dresser Lamp And Red Phone!
This is a great collection of vintage cream and orange doll Furniture. The light used to work. It may just need a bulb replacement, it take AA batteries. There is a burn mark on the top of the shade. The top of the lamp twists to remove and clicks into place and there is a number on the underside of the light table 3074-12. The dresser has a drawer that you can remove and the dresser has a foil mirror inside on the lid. There is a small burn mark on the back side of the dresser. Mid Century Modern, Art Deco dining room set Rway Furniture Company from 1950's
This dining room set has the clean lines of Mid Century with a little extra pizzazz of curved drawers on the server that are Art Deco. Absolutely gorgeous and in terrific condition. The buffet/server has a glass top so the wood is protected. The dimensions are 60"wide by 21" deep by 36" tall. It has 4 drawers and 2 cabinets. There are 6 chairs and 2 extra leaves for the table. Some small scratches are on the table but you have to look for them. The third to last picture shows one slight blemish. The color is off in that picture. The set is in excellent condition. Beautifully crafted and lots of style. The table has custom pads. You can make the table smaller by dropping one or both of the ends. Or you can extend it with extra leaves. The leaves are a higher gloss than the rest of the table. You can either refinish the table ... moreor keep it as is. The table dimensions are 5" Long by 40" across. RARE VINTAGE DOUGLAS FURNITURE DELUXE 1950'S/60'S DINETTE SET W/LEAF & 4 CHAIRS
This is a striking. Well preserved, well taken care of DELUXE dinette set manufactured by the"Douglas Furniture Corporation, Chicago 38, Illinois" I have not found another like it in the over 30 years of collecting Vintage and Mid Century pieces! It is in overall GREAT condition! I purchased this set in St. Charles. Missouri in 1994. Since then it has been lovingly kept in a special"display room" in our house-never used! This set. In its time, had to be the"cadillac" of dinette sets: both the backs and seats of the yellow"marbled" vinyl chairs are heavily padded-approximately 2" thick! The backs are wrap around style, have"nail heads" around the top and sides, and a large button in the middle of the back. An added design feature is an"inlay" of grey"marbled" vinyl ... morein the backs of the chairs. On the bottoms of all 4 chairs is the following: KITCHEN-MASTER" Upholstered with Dou gloss all plastic Manufactured by Douglas Furniture Corp. Chicago 38. Illinois. It also gives specific detailed instructions on care of the vinyl and chrome legs. There are 2 chairs that have 2 very small"tears" in the seats(see pictures#10-3/8" long and#11-1/8" across) The chrome legs do have some surface-only rust underneath the seats(see picture#12) The table is grey"marbled" formica with an inlay of yellow with tulips. The table top is in great condition; very little wear. Underneath written in chalk is"D2416 Yell Inlay" defining the pattern on the top of the table. The original instructions on how to assemble the legs is also still attached(see picture#4) Dimensions are approximate: Table: 47 1/2" long without leaf; 59" long with leaf; 35 3/4" wide. And 29 1/2" in height. Chairs: 33 1/2" high from top of chair to floor; seat height 17 1/2" to floor; seats are 15" square; back of chairs are 21" in width. 15 1/2" top to bottom. Back in the day, as they graduated High School as a way to introduce them to the Lane brand This one is from the 1950's and presented by Bouffard's Furniture of Farmington. Maine. Wonderful piece of American history. Original Key is not included. So was unable to test it to see if the lock works. Perfect as a jewelry or valet box. Fair shape. As a preowned item this does show signs of usage. See photos for complete visual inspection. There is a liquid or water spill spot in the bottom. It may be able to be gently sanded down with a fine grade sandpaper. Not sure though. There are three light scratches on the side. Set of vintage living room furniture for dollhouse. from the 1950's. Included in this lot are 4 pieces. All made of wood. There is a 3 cushion(removable) sofa, white fabric with green floral pattern- sticker on bottom of sofa reads" RINCO" Taiwan, Wing back arm chair, white fabric with blue and green floral pattern, white fireplace with mantle with faux"delft" tile(actually white& blue decal) and a white painted end table with 2 faux drawers, complete with hardware. The furniture shows wear, could use a little"spiffing" up, paint touch-up, etc. but in very good solid, vintage shape. One of the support bars beneath the wing-back chair has a chip in the wood. Adult owned, no tears.shows normal wear for 60+ year old furniture.not perfect, but very nice and hard to find. I am NO expert.
