Beautiful stained glass casement window. Measures approx 18 1/2 inches wide. 27 high and 1 3/4 deep. The bottom sill is 2 inches deep. Quite a few of the pieces of glass have cracks in them, but they are tight otherwise. I've tried to show them in the pictures, let me know if you need more detail. The frame has a great patina to it. I believe that it was originally a tilting window, as opposed to a sliding casement. I'm guessing on it's age.

Antique Medieval 13th Century Stained Glass Panel Fragments from Koln Cathedral. This listing is for a set of five panel fragments purchased from the estate of a WWII European Theater veteran. One of the panels is marked Koln Cathedral 1945. The Koln(Cologne) Cathedral survived after sustaining 14 bomb strikes during WWII. The Cathedral stands on the site of a 4th century Roman temple. Which was followed by a square church, that was followed by a cathedral which was completed in 818 which burned down in 1248 and construction of the present Gothic cathedral began. There were numerous interruptions in its construction which was completed in 1880. Although many of the panels in the cathedral date back to the 13th century, I do not know the specific age of these fragments. The lead surrounding each piece is in relatively sound structural condition. ... moreMost of the individual glass pieces have some movement, but are secure within the lead surrounding it. These fragments likely fell from the windows during bombing and consequently there are a number of cracks and chips which you will see in the pictures. Given the historical significance, I have not cleaned these, except for a light dusting. First. These windows have not even been cleaned. I am de-constructing a 18,000 square foot mansion on Greenwich CT that was built starting in 1899. The mansion has had two important owners I the business and science worlds& unfortunately, the house is in such disrepair, it has to be torn down. It was magnificent in it's day& I remember it as a small kid, it was the"Hillcrest Castle" I have approx. 40 windows so far. This is a stained. Leaded casement window(c-2) sash which is 1-3/4" thick, 25-1/4"x 29-3/4" As you can see. This has a wonderful double yellow stained glass border. Beautiful 1890 antique stain glass windows, 24 jewels
These are the most beautiful windows ever made. the colors are bright and clear. 24 jewels are placed in each window. they are a pair with a left and a right. My Mother rescued these windows from a wrecking crew in the 1960s. She saw them taking down yet one more beautiful home in the Soulard area of St. Louis. She ran up to the crew and offered to buy them and they said yes. These windows have a finished natural wood side and a panted back side. A metal bar supports the width of each window. The design is fanciful and decorative. The rich tones play against each other adding energy to the design. I am hoping that some one with a love for these windows will buy them and use them in their home.

THIS IS A LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. TOO HEAVY TO SHIP. This stained glass window was purchased for our Victorian home when we lived in Pittsburgh. Our Victorian home was built in 1898. Before we moved. I had a well-known stained glass company in Pittsburgh area take it to restore it with any cracks in the glass that might be needed to secure before moving with it. They told me that there were a few cracks that they suggested repairing, but that the other cracks should be left as they are as they are common to stain glass windows of this particular age(Pre-1900) and would not need to be repaired. I also had them add lead hoops to the top of the window so that it could be hung in front if a window in whatever home we would be buying. They put the hooks on the top, but suggested not to hang it merely by those hooks as the weight of the window might ... morebe too much for the hooks. If you purchase this window, I will be having you sign a waiver stating that you understand that you should not hang this window only by the top hooks and that there should be some sort of ridge or shelf of some kind at the bottom in addition to the hooks to take bear of the weight of window before you can have the window. We are selling it as we thought we could use it in our new home here in Louisiana, but there is not place to display it. It is still crated from our move as you can see in the images. This is a beautiful stained glass window! There was mention that the design was associated somehow with the first Olympics in 1896. I am selling two Frank Lloyd Wright designed leaded Luxfer Prism Glass Tiles windows. These light gathering windows were once in a commercial building in Marquette Michigan. They measure 8' 10" long by 2' 4" high. One window is intact and one has a dozen loose tiles and lead deterioration. There are 182 glass squares per window. I would rather they be picked up because of the weight and fragility.

Wonderful example of c1900 or earlier American art glass in slag glass with lead caming. This transom window is in the Art Nouveau style with an Arts& Crafts twist. Lovely leaf and apple design make it really special– intensely colored slag pieces are in shades of caramel& creamy white. Green& red. It measures 52”w x 24 3/8”h x 1 5/8” thick. Glass only measurement is 47 ½”w x 19 ½”h. Glass is original and overall is in excellent condition, however there are three instances of tight cracks(see last two photos) that should be left as is as they do not at all detract from this piece. Stained Glass Window taken out of St. Pauls Catholic Church in Ft. Wayne IN. The church was built in 1886 and was torn down in 2004 so the window is 128 years old. I was able to retrieve this window from one of the steeples.Which was no easy feat.I had it releaded and a oak shadow box made for it the measurements are 8ft tall x 22" wide x 7" deep. Window with the frame is 16" x 10-1/8" The visible leaded glass itself is 13-1/8" x 7-1/4" This looks like an old piece of stained glass to me. I would say it is at least 19thC. But uncertain of how old myself. Nice convenient and displayable size. The red glass piece on the bottom border row has several crack lines in it(see close-up photo) Another crack in glass I see in a corner of one of the larger blue segments in lower right(crack line is near the lead edge, so not too obvious or offensive) Window is in firm condition. Old worn and dry ebonized patina to the old softwood frame which looks like pine. Old metal eyelets on top(one bent down) for ... morehanging. Glass surface somewhat darkened with a hard, smoky-like film around edges of some areas. Very lovely piece of old stained glass! Will pack with care for buyer as with all my items. Here is another consignment offering from one of my all time favorite Charleston area high end antique collectors. Belle Epoque or the"Beautiful Era" refers to late 19th century France. From about 1871 through 1914 and the beginning of World War I in Europe, and a time period marked by collective optimism, peace at both home and abroad, general financial stability and overall comfort with life in the present. This positive atmosphere allowed and encouraged the arts to flourish in Paris and many beautiful works were completed during this era. This absolutely gorgeous large Belle Epoque style triptych, or three panel scene designed for use side by side, is a wonderful example of the lovely leaded and hand painted stained glass works created in France at this time and imported into Charleston, SC at some point long ago. In the manufacturing ... moreof this piece, the craftsman assembled the small individual panes of clear and amber leaded glass, with lead added to the glass itself to increase it's shine, into the three large panels. A leaded stained glass window or other object is made of pieces of glass, held together by lead. The pieces of glass are about 1/8 inch thick and are bound together by strips, called"comes" of grooved lead, soldered at the joints. The three panel were then used like one large canvas would then be. With the artist hand painting the entire design"vitraux" or in reverse, onto the three panels. Then the glass panels were heated to fuse the paint to the glass and complete the work. To be quite honest, my photographs just don't do this terrific glass masterpiece justice however I do have more pictures available upon request. This magnificent three panel window stands 93 1/2 inches tall and collectively measures between 97.5- 98 inches wide. With each of the three individual panels measuring 32 1/2 inches wide. A superb 19thc heraldic stained glass window with monogram to centre. Superb architectural stained glass window with monogramed letters ND separated by a heart and with a crown above. An unusual piece which retains its original leading. Of irregular shape. To top of window there is a small area of glass which is slightly age bowed. Blue glass background colour. Measures some 8.25" x some 7.5" Condition is very good overall and age commensurate with some marking to the surface. All as per images. 18th CENTURY FIGURAL PAINTED STAINED GLASS PANEL #7
Antique 18th Century- kiln fired reverse painted stained leaded panel from the estate of deceased listed artist Ernest A. Melchert born 1890- 1972. One of a few examples found in his summer residence where it had been modified into a window hanger in the early 1900's. He collected a lot of Russian and black forest Antiquities. I This panel is German in origin. Posssibly one panel out of a larger piece. The Kiln Fired fusion of the vitreous paint to the glass is the process used in the old church windows of Europe since the 16th Century. I know he acquired this and other pieces in his travels in the 1920's. This beautiful Piece of art glass measures 10 x 13 in and is surrounded with H frame lead which leads me to believe it was once part of a larger piece. It has hanging hooks on top installed long ago for use as a window hanger by ... morethe owner. In the sunlite it's wonderful. No lose glass. All lead work intact and stiff- no bend or wiggle.

Antique 1898 stained glass window. Figure of Christ with the text"Come Unto Me" at his feet. Window was salvaged from a Universalist Church in Iowa that was built in the late 1860s. The windows in the church were installed in 1898, and this window dates from this installation. Jesus' s face, hands, feet and robes were hand painted and kiln fired, he has deep, expressive eyes. Finely detailed window, the colors are bright and rich, blue background, red robes and colorful tiled floor add to the charm. Window measures 36" wide x 59" tall without the frame. Frame is not original, frame measures 41" wide x 64-1/2" tall. Winxow has been gently restored, all joints have been resoldered and the new oak frame adds strength and stability. Antique primitive Stained Glass Window Wood Sash 19.5"in.x31"in. 54 pieces
Antique primitive Stained Glass panel in Wooden Sash Window in very good condition with wear from age and minor scratches and edge dings to the wood sash. The Lead Came and what appears to be Steel reinforcing rods have heavy Patina with areas of minor surface corrosion to the steel. The glass has no signs of cracks or chips. But may have areas of minor scratches. The window measures 19-1/2" inches wide and 31" inches height and the sash is 1-1/2" inches thickness. There are 53 pieces of glass in this panel. The outer border is made up of Lime and Olive Green. The inner panels are light Lilac with eight(8) of those squares slightly darker in one corner(may have been replaced or all the color left during production) the center squares are Gold with the center circle in Cobalt Blue and clear Crystal with Bevel on the opposite ... moreside. The center"jewel" appears to be one piece of glass judging by the thickness of the Lead Came securing it in place. The Cobalt Blue color may be what's called"Flash Glass" Meaning the color was applied to the glass to achieve the effect the center crystal has. It also means this panel is probably pre-1900. The texture of the other glass in the panel appears to be"English Muffle" which is also another indicator of age where this type of glass was widely used in Victorian Stained Glass Panels. The Lead Came also shows its age and appears to have been Soldered with a Flat Iron which was heated by hot coals then applied to the solder joints making them uneven and non-uniform in finish unlike today's electric solder irons which maintain a steady temperature for an even flow of solder. Although I've been out of touch with stained glass for lack of shop space big enough to continue the craft. I've been working with stained glass since 1991 and have acquired a bit of knowledge about it. With regards to the wood sash. This too shows its age and appears to be from the late 1800's. The Muntin's have been cut off to accept the panel

Antique Mid 1800's Large Stained Glass Church Window Measures: 119 1/4" long x 40 3/4" wide with frame Inside frame measures: 112 1/2" x 35 1/4" Solid original wood frame is 1 3/4" thick There are 2 small chips and a small amount of missing glass in 1 pane and some areas with cracks There are 7 support bars on the back side which tie to the glass Some soft spots in wood frame and a few missing slivers of wood I have many more photos of this window. Please ask if you would like to see them The upper section of this window does swing open The history of this window dates to a FREE METHODIST CHURCH built in 1864 in Upstate New York and received information they were built in Germany Many beautiful colors and a gorgeous design to this rare find I do have 3 additional windows from this same church in the same size ... morebut different designs and colors If interested. These antique Egyptian doors were salvaged from an old palace harem. They are over 400 years old. There are 12 available and I am asking $125 each. Great for interior or exterior design. Materials: Painted wood. Multicolored stained glass with floral pattern. Dimensons: 68 inches tall, 15 inches wide. Condition: Slightly weathered paint, original stained glass windows are mostly intact, as seen in photos.
