Early Original 1900's Pair of Stained Glass Oak Cabinet Doors
Up for auction is an original matching set of stained& beveled glass cabinet doors taken from a Milwaukee bungalow that was built in 1918. There are no cracks or damage of any kind. One piece of the glass has a minor imperfection. It is not a crack or a scratch but it is a line that is a little over an inch. I tried to photograph it but it would not show up in the pictures. I am just trying to be upfront. It is surrounded in beautiful oak that has a great patina. One door measures 20& 3/4 inches tall. 14& 11/16 inches wide. Hoosier cabinet stained glass doors sugar jar flour bin
This auction is for a really nice old Hoosier that was damaged in moving. The top is in good condition with some stains and wood warping but minor. The bottom is very damaged. The back is gone. The inside frame that holds the drawers is broken. Outside frame is good. Includes glass sugar jar and hardware, tip out flour bin, stained glass doors and glass knobs. Sliding doors work, a mouse chewed on one corner of the door where they meet. Wish some one would fix it up but I can't afford to pay some one to fix it. PS I paid $900 for this cabinet and used it in my kitchen. $250 is a steal. I've ben hoping to get it fixed but I need the money like everyone else these days.

Description This is an exceptional set of doors that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. They are made of pine with chippy paint. The glass is a clear with different textures and a great design. Each door has approx 142 jewels! They were originally standard double entrance doors. At some point the knobs were removed and holes were patched. The then installed double action hinges to swing back and forth. Push bars were added at the same time as those hinges. They each measure 27 inches wide by 89 tall and are almost 2 inches thick. Each glass panel is 16 inches wide by 76.5 tall. Overall they are in very good condition. This door set is from a Miami Beach Mansion which was Designed by the Famous Florida Architect firm of Treanor& Fatio. Who is noted for designing many fabulous mansions in Miami and also Palm Beach, Fl. Over the objections of Preservationists, this treasure was recently demolished& will be replaced by a modern home. As a demolition expert, I was given precious few moments to go in& retrieve a bit of the home's artifacts. The fronts are very ornate with shelves and pediments above and below the glass. There are raised panels at the bottom with moldings for ming diamonds. The back sides are plain. Each door has a panel of leaded glass at the top. Each has 8 beveled glass pieces and 4 large jewels. All of the glass is clear distorted. There are no cracks or breaks. Wonderful set of cabinet doors to replace. Or upgrade your vintage oak cabinet. Found at a local auction by themselves. Cannot tell you the original piece of furniture that held the doors. Double door entry system. Open the right-hand door outward and to the right. The handle doesn't turn and is strictly for pulling open the door. The left door has an interior. Spring loaded latch, at the top. You depress the latch to release and open left door outward and to the left. Ornate non-magnetic plates on each door. Measures 7 7/8" long and 1 3/16" wide. Pull handle on right door projects 1 1/8" outward from plate. Doors measure 23 1/2" tall and 16 1/2" wide. Doors are 1" thick. Green glass circles are 2 1/2" across. Description This is a nice set of doors that were salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. They are made of pine and are painted on both sides. The fronts have Eastlake beveled edges around the glass. Most of the original hardware is intact. We have the doorknobs but they aren't pictured. They have the ornate back plate. Steeple hinges etc. The glass panels are all clear distorted glass. the diamonds are beveled and each door has 5 bevels. They measure 45.25 inches wide together. By 89.25 tall and are 2 inches thick. Overall they are in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. There are a few small tight hairlines. This auction is for a vintage Wood Spice Rack/Cabinet With Doors and Stained Glass Mushrooms on the Doors. It is approx. 15 1/2 tall and 12" wide. It has two shelves with 12 glass spice bottles/jars and two drawers. The doors have stained glass mushrooms on both doors. It is in good vintage condition with some scratches and marks on the wood. Some of the spice jars have labels and some do not. Some still have old spices in them. I did not clean them. On the bottom of the spice jar it has bottle made in Taiwan.
