ViNTaGe~Antique FLoRaL~Gold Art Pottery Centerpiece Bowl~Planter & 2 Horn Vases
This auction includes an ornate vintage bowl or planter which has a very nice shape to it. Beautiful floral designs, bright gold trim and highlights, and handles on the ends, and a set of two horn shaped vases which have bright gold trimmed roses on the front. The bowl measures 11" long. By 7" at its widest points, and is 5 1/2" to the top end of its handles. The vases measure 4 1/4" tall, by 3 3/8" across the top openings, and 3" across their bases. The vases are marked U.S.A. on the lower side as I tried show in the last photo(don't know if you can see it) but I am not sure of the maker of the bowl being it likely originally came with a label which is no longer present, but it is a beautiful piece nevertheless. All are in very good condition, and have no chips, cracks, or damage. There is some clear crazing ... moreto the bowl which is very common in older pieces. No big deal in my opinion, but wanted to mention not knowing if it would matter more to someone else. Bright spots are only light reflections. Beautiful set for use or display! Vintage(what I believe to be) ANDREA Hand Painted figurines Made in Occupied Japan. The reason I appear to be unsure of the Andrea make is that they do not have Andrea stamped on the pieces anywhere. In researching them, I only found one other piece online in another auction that listed the piece as Andrea. As I am not an expert in these items, I am only following what I believe to be accurate. Down from the attic today is this old lot of 2 glass vases/bottle. The clear one is a paperweight vase in great condition and approx. 6" tall. the other amberina bottle? maybe Barber bottle? Is approx. 7" tall and shows well. It does have some small flee bites on the inside top rim( normal for the age) and also has two flee bites on the bottom rim. Acid etched on the bottom-Made in Czechoslovakia- please see all pictures as they are part of the description) This will make a great addition to your old glass collection. As pictured. Up for auction is this Vintage Frosted Vaseline Floral Glass Serving Set Including a Pair of Vases. I'm not quite sure about the manufacturer. Nor the type of glassware this is, however it does resemble both frosted glassware and vaseline glassware. The pieces are very heavy due to the thickness and content of the glass. They feature a very beautiful and soft floral design highlighted with some red and yellow hue in the glass. The set includes a very large platter measuring approximately 16 3/4" in diameter; a service bowl that drops into the platter and it's measuring in at 13" in diameter and over 3" tall; and a matching pair of vases that are 9 3/4" tall and 6 1/4" in diameter at their widest point on top. Not sure of the age of these, however they came from an estate where the neighboring ... moreitems were from the 30's and 40's. The condition is absolutely amazing with very few signs of age or wear. There are a few tiny specs and surface flaws, but no chips, scratches, or cracks, and surely nothing that would diminish the vintage beauty of this amazing set. Top diameter is 2 ½ inches, bottom diameter is 2 inches, widest part is about 3 ¼ inches. They need a super good cleaning and there are some tiny flea bites throughout– nothing huge like cracks. The taller piece is appx. 18" tall x 3 5/8" at the widest point- the base is appx. 2 7/8" round The smaller piece is appx. 16 5/8" tall x 3.25" at the widest point- the base is appx. 2 7/8" round Yellow-Orange at the base flowing into a true Orange and ending again in Yellow-Orange near the top rims.
