Offered. A set of three vintage lady portrait prints. They are in ornate frames with velvet and/satin like mats, under bubble glass. 2 frames are identical and the third is similar enough to be complimentary in a small group. I believe they are all made by Cameo Creations though only two have stickers. They measure approx. 7-7 1/2" tall by 6" across. Condition is very good VINTAGE/OLD with dust/dirt, some normal age related wear, a small nick on the top of the wood frame(oval) some marks on the glass. Eugene Savage vintage Hawaiian prints
Set of four authentic Eugene Savage prints. Eugene Savage(1883-1978) A native of Indiana, arrived in Hawaii only to find himself soon engaged in the painting of nine 8’ wide and 4’ high murals for the Ocean Shipping Company. The murals, completed in 1940, were never used as Ocean Navigation Company’s ships were drafted for the war effort. In 1948, however, nine-color lithogr aphed menu covers based on these designs made their appearance on the company’s flagship“Lurline. The prints measure 13 3/4" X 20 7/8" with a 1/2" border at the top and a 1 1/2" border at the bottom. The reverse sides have a printed description of the front image as seen in the photos. The heavy print paper has some dark toning noticeable in the borders due to age but the colors are still vibrant. There are no tears of stains and they have never been ... morefolded. Some corner curling on a few. For their age they are in excellent condition and ready for framing.

This auction is for a set of four copper etch prints by The Late R.H. Palenske. Palenske was a famed naturalist and outdoorsman. A great portion of his experience came from the Northwest Wilds. The condition of the etchings are wonderful. There are some lines in the etchings paper. Not sure if that is when they were placed on to the matting. The matting is in excellent condition. This is a pair of prints with a horse theme. The most famous is the Grand Young T rotter. Jay Eye See, Record 2:10. It's a little un even at the top but it won't show when matted. The second print is The Escape of Sergeant Champe. In an endeaver to carry out Washington's plan to capture Arnold and to save the life of the Traitor's victim ... morethe gallant Major Andre. 1780. Vintage Lot 300+ Paper Postcards Ads Prints Clippings Ephemera Memorabilia Old
More than 300 items are included in this lot. The pictures are a sampling of the material types included. The items are vintage and range between the 1890s and mid-century. There may have been something or another from the 1980s that slipped by me. But I don't think there are any items beyond the 1970s. Not much in the 1890s era, but lots that date to the year 1900-ads from this year. Also, all items are original or original book prints. No reproductions on my part and most all of this stuff I've picked up while buying old books/postcards for myself. I've been in libraries for the past 20 years, so I hit all the book sales I could find for many years. Though some had shot bindings, I found that the prints inside were perfectly wonderful! So, this lot is ideal for anyone that is interested in older memorabilia, art or historical ... moreprints. It's certainly a good lot for dealers or collectors as these items could be sold separately. I had thought to do that, but it's not my line of business and while I've got a good handle on books, I can't imagine the time it would take me to research and value each item. In this lot there are a couple booklets. News clippings, picture clippings, larger prints, newspaper adds, magazine ads, art, etc.If you're interested, I could probably tell you where most of these came from-though not all as this stuff has been packed up for some time. The Civil War prints are mainly from the 1912-1914 era. The Currier and Ives prints I believe are from the 1940s. That Van Gogh print is from the French Magazine L'Illustration(1929 issue) and the ads, as I mentioned, date mostly from journals dated to year 1900. The postcards range as you can see in pics. All in all. This is just a rich sampling; I suppose even scrapbook fans would enjoy using many of these items. 3 Stunning Vintage 1920 Fashion Prints Drawings Greene Elegant Females RARE
These 3 pieces have been nicely matted but not framed. One depicts a young woman with binoculars leaning against a railing- perhaps during a Grand Voyage? Pencil signed Greene 1921. Note her skirt length and long headscarf. Indicative of the period. One lady is wearing a black tulip petal skirt(signed Greene) and one has a large red hat, black and white spats and a white round coat- carrying a reticule(small drawstring bag) dated 1920. I have photographed them still in their plastic sleeves- they are much more vibrant than they appear. There is a slight bit of brown foxing to the top of the binocular girl(doesn't impinge on image) but otherwise all in excellent condition. These would be spectacular properly framed. Vintage Native American "Indian Maids" Longfellow Poems~NO Calendars/Prints ONLY
Up for auction is a VINTAGE LOT OF 12 1920'S NATIVE AMERICAN"INDIAN MAIDS" CALENDAR/BLOTTER PRINTS w/LONGFELLOW POEMS(and others) NO Calendars~Prints ONLY! However. Each month is listed on the back) I found these while going through my childhood home and are the last of these I have come across so far. These belonged to my grandmother and I believe are from the 1920's due to the fact that I found others from that same time frame and they are VERY much alike. She must have taken these prints off of the Calendar/Blotters to save because she liked the pictues as she was part indian herself. There are no rips. Tears, creases, markings or strange smells. They measure approximately 5-inches tall x 3 1/2-inches wide and are made of soft, flexible cardboard-type paper.
