Offered here is a wallet issued by the Cub Scouts. Probably from the 1950s or early 1960s. This was found with another Cub Scout wallet(see our other listings) that was dated Christmas 1955. The logo on the front measures 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" and the wallet folded measures 4-5/8" x 3-3/8" The left side probably held an identification card or a photograph. And it has one spot where there's an indentation from the snap opposite it on the coin purse. The inside shows that the wallet was well used. One side has a coin purse with snap closure. This auction is for an Antique 19th Century Coin Purse. It measures 3 1/2 inches long by 2 1/2 inches high. It has a small brass snap closure.There are two pictures framed in gold. Although I do not know the content used at that period in history. On one side it features a picture of Napoleon lll and on the other is a a picture of Josephine I think. It does not say Josephine though, it says a word I cannot make out followed by Des Francais. Both of the pictures if you look under a magnifier show lots of dots but on top of that it is hand painted in some areas. The colors are just brilliant and they look like actual paintings. The case is a hard black material with inlaid silver design. The inside is a deep pink satin which shows its age. I guess at 200 + years we will show some age too.
