Many said it is Tibetan in origin and over 100 years old! The metal used appear to be brass and silver. The center proudly displays a beautiful rich red coral piece. Here for your consideration is German Silver Coin Purse Brooch. It has a lovely art nouveau look with the grapes and vines embossed on the purse. I'm not sure if this was a chatelaine coin purse turned into brooch. Or has always been a brooch? It measures 3" across and x 2" wide. It is marked GER SILVER on the inside. The inside has blue fabric and has a hole in the bottom(see photo) The clasp closes tightly. But leaves a gap/opening when closed. It has a lovely monogram of MF I believe. antique victorian era beaded Czechoslavakia coin purse
This is an antique beaded victorian era coin purse from Czechoslovakia. It snaps in the inside center and has a sewn in tag that reads MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA. Inside looks to be made of linen or maybe taffeta. But as it has aged it has yellowed and is hard to tell what the material is. There is one very small area at bottom of purse where the beading is a bit loose, but all else is snug and present. Measurements are 2.25x4. Pretty little collectible!

Beautiful workmanship on this 1920's so lid silver mesh purs e. Hallmarke d 800, this ant i que is approaching 100 years old and shows a few small holes where the mesh has slightly stre tched. Still in good enough condition to be worn. But not perfect enough to be afraid to wear. 1 29 grams of 80% silver gives this purse a scrap value of around $ 100. Antique Eyeglasses with Button Chain and Case 1910's Texas Coin Purse
As you look through these eyeglasses. imagine what stories they've seen! This lot of small and personal antiques include eyeglasses and case(found together) and a coin pouch. THE EYEGLASSES One glass has a small chip to the inside at top as pictured. The glasses appear to be firmly fastened. They have a slight rattle as you hold them. Expected for the design, but they don't feel threatened to fall apart. The chain is workable and collapses well into the button. Given the age of the chain and it's function. It's remarkable that it works. The chain does have dirt and it's easy to kink, so it can be frustrating too. In general, stretching the chain out and freeing any kinks will retract the chain quickly and easily. The button that the retractable chain is attached to reads like'Ketcham& McDougall PAT FEB 24.03 New ... moreYork' At the bottom where the pin attaches, it appears to say April 16, 10. THE CASE The case is nearly just metal now. Most of the original decorative wrapping has deteriorated. There are hints that the original color was like a gold wood-grain design. The front of the case is missing much of the information. But it appears that the address was in Texas. On the bottom of the case. There's a hallmark featuring the letter A and below printed PAT FEB909. I am assuming that this indicates it was made in 1909 or shortly after. THE POUCH The included pouch has no recognizable markings. This is more or less a bonus. Something we found along with the glasses that appear to be from the about same time period. The inside lining has deteriorated to just threads. By itself, it's rather unassuming, but together with the eyeglasses, the pouch can add a great touch to for a small display. 1930s VINTAGE EVANS ENAMEL ROSE GUILLOCHE MESH MIRRORED COIN COMPACT PURSE
Your bid is for a beautiful circa 1930s guilloche enamel compact. This beautiful vintage compact is an Evans compact but it is missing its original powder pad. It has a metal mesh base and an enameled rose in the center. It measures 3" by 2.25" and is in good condition. The clasp works perfectly. The mirror and lining show a bit of wear and there's a bit of verdigris on the mesh but overall solid condition.
