I have it listed as used because ... moreI opened the plastic to make sure it was not a reseal job. It was the original plastic and I slide the plastic back on the Bible to help protect it. I only opened the Bible. Just enough, to see the inside first few pages to make sure it had no writing or markings and to see the date. I found no writing or markings to the pages. I do find a light red mark on the front cover near the right edge. I took a picture of the mark but you can just barely see it in the picture. It may come off but I did not try. The mark must have been on the Bible when it came from the publisher because there was no hole in the plastic and it was there when I slide the Bible from the plastic. This Bible is the 1976 Keepsake Edition with the White padded cover with art work on the front and with Gold Edge Gilding to the pages. This is a very nice Bible in unread, unused condition. This Bible measures about 8 3/4 inches wide x 11 inches tall x 2 1/4 inches thick. Thank you for looking at my auction! Vintage KJV genuine Morocco Bible. In good condition. The only writing I found in this bible is in the family history section. No underlining or highlighting. Binding is tight. Leather is in great condition for its age. Copyright 1942 from A.J. Holman Company.The gold gilding is worn but still looks good. Slight yellowing of pages. Smythe sewn binding.
