These 3 beautiful bible books look to me like they have never been used. They are tight when opened and clean without damages. One is from 1967 and the other two from 1965. Books have plenty of illustrations. The edges of the pages are in gold. Hard to make out in my pictures. Each has a red band bookmark in it. The cardboard box does show scuffs. Wear and has some stains. One book was published in 1967 the other two in 1965. I believe these are about the life of Christ. Copyright is 1959 marked in two books and 1954 in an other. This is a first edition hardcover book with dust jacket that measures about 9.5" x 7" with 154 pages. The book is in VERY GOOD condition. The cover has almost no wear, the binding is tight and the pages are in very good shape. The dust jacket is in ACCEPTABLE condition with tears all around it that have been taped on the inside. Throughout the book are beautiful black, white, and red illustrations following the New Testament. Vintage 1980's Flip A Bible Story Book Adventures Children's Scriptures Stories
Vintage 1980's Flip A Bible Story Book. Bible Adventures. Cute children's book for helping them learn and memorize bible scriptures. Great for Sunday school or any collector. Great art! Written by Ruth Shannon Odor and illustrated by Dick Wahl. The book has 5 sections of pages, with each of the 5 sections having 8 different picture stories in that section. Some of the pages have creasing but they aren't bent and still lay flat. Thick cardboard type front and back covers with thinner cardboard flip pages. If I didn't explain this well enough please ask) Size is 11 x 6.6" This book does show wear and has been used. NOTE the plastic spiral binding has 3 of the rings that are bent and don't quite fit in the binding anymore but the books pages still turn very well. Up for auction is"The Illustrated Bible Story Book- New Testament" The book measures approximately 10" X 12 1/4" and has about 125 pages(the pages are not numbered) The stories in the book were written by Seymour Loveland and the book was copyrighted in 1925 by Rand McNally& Company. For being 90 years old the book is in fair condition. It has some roughness on the front cover here and there and the first 3 or 4 pages on the left side have a tear at the top center. Other than that the book and pages are in quite good condition. I also have the New Testament Bible Story Book on another auction! I am not an expert in any type of antiques and collectibles. THE BIBLE STORY Arthur Maxwell 10 Volume Children's Book Set 1953-1957
All 10 volumes are in very good condition. I did not see any writing or names in any of the books. Only the first two volumes looks as if they may have been read or flipped through. All are in great condition. But the other 8 appear to not have been read because the spine is very tight. Please note the bubbling under the plastic coating. Most evident in the picture looking down at the blue edged pages. These weigh 16 lbs unpackaged.
