One of the small metal wires which acts as one of the hinges has broken. It's and easy fix as it's simply two pieces of stiff wire held by a small loop, shown in one of the photos.Name written in pencil faintly can still be seen on box top center. The corners are dovetailed. The wood in general is quite good condition for it's age, no cracking. One small chip to the bottom underside where a nail head is exposed on the frame, minor. As you can see the paper litho on the outside and inside the box top is in quite good condition. Still bright and clean, with some spotting and general age wear. I was told that this was a Gillsville. Ga 3 gallon churn with lid. The potter used the Albany Slip Glaze and the clay was good Georgia red clay. The lid is one piece of solid wood not plywood. The base is approximately 7 1/2" and the top is the same, There are two small chips on the top one old and one new. There are a few scratches. I can find no repairs. 8 keys wooden flute made in Czechoslovakia in very good condition. The wood seems to be blackwood or cocuswood. This flute is good for playing Irish traditionnal music. Good intonation. Sweet tone and easy to play. Play well at 440hz. All the keys work well. The flute has one crack in the head but professionnally repair and stable(see pictures) The crack is almost invisible and do not affect the playing. I can send a sound clip of the flute if needed. This victorian pack of dogs on a base i think date to around 1880. The dogs are made of bronze and have good detail and nice patina with age, each dog is slightly different and have harnesses on each one, i am not certain of the type of dog these figures are but perhaps pug or bulldog the dogs are mounted on a quality wooden base which i think is a kind of fruitwood that has nice grain and colour, each dog is fixed with nuts and bolts underneath as can be seen in the photo, 4 x 2 inches and in very good condition

The mouthpiece is stamped with' CALTEAU" And the ligature is a Boosey and Hawkes, but I do not known if the mouthpiece is the original one. It has been completely refurbished at a cost of £140. On the 8th March 2013. It may have an unusual bore size: the mouthpiece supplied fits. But my modern B45 and 5RV mouthpieces are too wide to fit onto the barrel. It has a very sweet sound. You are bidding on a Vintage Weems and Plath Hand Held Compass with Original Case. The Compass is in good condition for its age and shows some wear. The compass measures approximately 9 ½”tall and takes D batteries which are not included. The battery casing seems to be pretty clean to the naked eye. The box has some minor scratches(nothing deep. Vintage Wooden Boat Pulley w/ Original Chain, Nautical Antique, Large Decoration
Very old antique. Part of a boat's pulley system. Pulley is completely wood. Including the moving parts! And yes, all parts still work and move! It also has the original chain still attached. Chain is a little rusty. But still in awesome condition for the age. It is very heavy(cast iron, maybe) The chain is attached to the pulley by a steel cable rope. The pulley itself is approx. 8" long. And 4-5" wide, and chain is approx. 1.5 feet long. This is an ACTUAL OLD PULLEY. NOT A REPRODUCTION. Great for any collector, or vintage nautical décor!

Wonderful 19th century primitively decorated wooden mortar. Obviously made out of 1 piece of wood. The mortar is quite roughly made. The wooden mortar which stands 6.2 inches tall(15cm) and measures 4 inches(10 cm) across at the top is decorated with a primitive banding in the middle.This mortar has a handle which you don't see very often. Old antique 1920s Felix The Cat wooden toy, leather ears and segmented tail.RARE
Hello. Up for bid is what I believe to be an antique 1920s era, Felix The Cat, wooden toy. Very cool and very hard to find, especially in this condition. The condition is very good with most of its original paint. The ears look to be made of hardened leather. They are complete and in very good shape. The wooden parts are all there and in working order. The inner movement pieces seem to be in good shape. No damage that I could see. Toys this old are not my forte, so check out all the photos and ask questions if needed. Felix has a sticker of his name and what looks to be little sheriff badges on the ends. Sticker looks original but I dont know about the sheriff stars. The sticker is complete but wants to partially fall off. Felix was beyond my time. His nose shows a little wear but looks good. Paint is very good. Some age and dust on it but ... morenothing bad. Head moves, arms move, legs move and the segmented tail is very cool and still moves freely. It looks like the whole thing is made of wood except the leather ears and whatever metal hooks are inside his body. Felix even stands on his own. As with all of my items, I try and describe them the best that I can. I am not perfect however, so check out the photos, research the item, ask questions and bid if its something you want. Crackle and Pop, which are both marked with a paper label on the bottom 1972 Kellogg Co. The other two are an Indian and a dwarf. I was going to learn this instrument so I could'double' on gigs but I do NOT have the time these days. When I bought this a year ago. I had it overhauled(at almost $100) This clarinet has all NEW everything. New pads, new corks, new felt(as you can see in photos) The wood was also oiled at this time, and the metal was polished. This clarinet comes with an old vintage metal reed saver and a marching band music stand. It also comes with a spit swab and a student mouthpiece, cap, and ligature. The case this item comes with isn't the worst I've ever seen, but it is made of plastic and has a lot of wear and cracks. The case stays closed though which is the important part so you really would not need to replace the case unless you were really picky.
