Handel Piano Lamp with Ribbed Steuben Aurene Shade
Amazing signed Handel Piano Lamp with a Steuben Aurene Ribbed Shade. This looks killer on a piano or mantel. The ribbed Steuben shade mimics the base and they look like they belong together. One small dent on the stem which you can see in the pics. Base is 7 3/4" across. Lamp is 17" from base the the lamp fitting. The Steuben shade is marked and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks even around the top where it fits into the lamp. A couple of tiny discolorations on the shade only mentioned to be accurate. Shown in pics. People always remark on this lamp. Antique Beautiful Slag Glass Cameo Table Lamp, Pittsburgh, B&H, Miller, Handel
This is a a Fantastic Old Slag Glass Table Lamp it is not signed but looks to be of a very good quality! The shade has 8 bent panel that are all caramel color slag panels have no damage and it has all the little tabs. The slag glass is th older slag but I do not know the age of the lamp! my best guess is late 1930. I believe it has the original finish but there are a few small areas of finish loss but not large areas they are quite small. The shad and base have a Cameo pattern and I see no damagon this lamp just normal wear! This wonderful lamp stands 22 1/2" tall to top of finial the shade is 18 1/4" wide weight is 19.1 pounds. As I said I do not know the maker but it is a very well made lamp so I'm guessing it is one of the better old lamp makers! The lamp is gorgeous. The colors are amazing. One panel was broken and repaired years ago. I have included a picture. i have for auction this supercool signed b and h wall mount sconce. where do i find these great things? its like magic isnt it. it is in mint condition. no broken or missing tabs. No cracked, broken, or missing glass-glass all original, no broken, cracked, or missing filligree or metalware, no metalware seam separation. all that and it has a great, not frogskin but same green color, patina. it even has its original socket which i assume to be harvey hubbell as b and h used them alot. its wall mount hanging height would be 12 and 1/2 inches. if you chose to hang this from a ceiling, the total drop height would be 16 and 1/2 inches. folks it doesnt get any better than this other than i am selling it without reserve to the highest ebay bidder. please check out my other ebay lighting auctions as i have some really great stuff up for sale this ... moretime around. thanks for looking. bidders please remember that i am selling antiques and that there should be a degree of expectation on your part in knowing that there will be normal aging and minor imperfections towards an item that is 75 to 100 years old. chances are if there arent any. Each large tulip shade is about 6” in diameter and about 5” high. Each tulip shade has 18 beautiful overlapping pink and green slag glass pedals. Each of the two shades is signed Handel as well is the“Handel” signature patch on the bottom of the base of the lamp. Lamb Brothers Leaded Glass Lamp Arts Crafts Nouveau Handel BH Era
This is an auction for a very nice Lamb Brothers Leaded glass lamp from the 20's or 30's. It is from a local estate and had been in the family since new. The shade has caramel or off white panels and the floiage is made up of darker panels of caramel and light green. The foliage decoration at the bottom of the shade repeats on 4 sides. I consider this one of their better shades. It is not marked. But is definitely Lamb. The lamp is in working condition and is completely original except for the vintage Arrow pulls and a recent rewire with cloth cord. It is ready to go in your home right now. I have tried to picture all issues with the lamp, and none of them detract very much from its overall beauty, but they need to be mentioned. I have pictured several panels that have cracks. There appear to be 11 total. 10 have the cracking in the ... moreglass in the lower foliage areas of the shade and one appears to be an old heat crack in the top row which is pretty typical of older lamps. The cracks at the base of the shade are all stable with no glass missing and are on two sides 180 degrees from each other. The other 2 foliage areas have no cracks. Probably it was placed on the points at one time which caused this. Again, the lamp is very presentable in light of these, but I wanted to make sure the buyer is aware. The base has not been cleaned, and has a couple of small spots near the plug wire entrance that would be normal wear. The shade measures 18" plus across and the lamp stands approx. 22" tall. This item will be shipped in a box with delivery confirmation and insurance. Offered for auction is one Handel Etruscan glass lamp shade measuring 10” across the bottom and is 6 ½” tall. This would fit an Aladdin oil lamp with a 10” fitter. For some unknown reason someone painted this beautiful shade forest green then someone decided to take the green paint off. Under the paint is a gorgeous yellow finish. This is not perfect; it has the usual roughness around the bottom rim that is so very common with these wonderful pieces of history. Other than the roughness around the bottom rim no nicks. Cracks, chips, crazing, or repairs could be found in the main part ... moreof the body. It has a lovely ringing sound when gently tapped with your finger. This was purchased several years ago from a local estate and other than a quick bath in warm water with a mild soap it is in“as found” condition. The base has 3 slag glass panels, 2 original bell pull chain sockets( see last photo-P&S logo) and a push pull switch at the bottom for lighting the base lamp. For sale is a signed Bradley& Hubbard lamp base. As shown in the photos, dating from the Handel Wilkinson lamp era. The base is not made of pot metal. Rather, it is made of spun brass and stands 23.5 inches tall to the top of the finial. The circular bottom of the base is 7.5 inches in diameter. The base has a nice contrasting brass and brown color or patina. The neck of the lamp adjacent the sockets is impressed with the name"BRADLEY& HUBBARD MFG CO" in Bradley's triangular logo. See photos 4-5. The opposing side of the neck has the raised letters"PAT APLD FOR. This is a beautiful nice sized bent slag glass lamp. The shade is a combination variegated deep carmel bent slag glass with a beautiful look to it. The filigree work is just wonderful and sets off the colors in the shade. The lamp is a combination of brass. Copper, bronze and pot metal with a great golden patinated finish near 100% The lamp stands 20 inches tall. The shade is 16 inches wide and about 6 1/2 inches tall. There are 2 vintage sockets working off of one pull chain. One pull turns on one light, second turns on the second light, third pull goes back to one light and fourth pull turns it all off, it all works well. The lamp has been rewired with correct wiring and works and looks just great. This beautiful lamp is unmarked except for a#1 on the base. VINTAGE SLAG LAMP PARTS LIGHTING PITTSBURGH PAIRPOINT HANDEL MILLER STEAMPUNK
This auction is for a lamp part. There are no names on it that i see. These parts are old. I dont know what they were part of.The large piece did hold curved glass all the tabs are still there. So you can put glass back in. The large piece has some round holes in a few different place. The other piece with the rod in it also has a switch. But its some cool stuff, maybe someone could make it into a great hanging light. Also has some scraps& dings. about 14" tall total x 8 1/2 at the widest.

handel lamp base works but needs care paint peeling on bottom of base
handel lamp base without lamp shade unfortunately. measures 13 inches. the lamp works and has a very very long cord. some places need to be tightened up. bottem of base is losing copper brass looking paint. without paint it has a whitish glass look? this lamp base does not have a marking and i have heard that some of the early ones did not. the shade that it did have had the handel painted on it with a number. It was so so beautiful and my dog pulled it off of tv over 25 years ago. it belonged to my husbands grandmother and he said as a little boy the lamp always sat on her piano i am quite sure the base is real, i could not picture his grandmother putting a real handel shade on a fake lamp base. the only writting i found was on the socket and it says press by the switch and 360 w 250v and p&s patent. if you have questions please feel ... morefree to ask, and thank you for looking.

Antique Handel Style Leaded Glass Ceiling Tulip Lamp with Fixture
This Handel style leaded glass tulip ceiling lamp with brass fixture came from my Grandmother's house where it hung over their dining room table for over 80 years. I had the lamp and the brass fixture appraised by valuemystuff.com. They estimated the lamp to be from around 1910-1920 and the fixture about the same. The lamp was appraised at $200-$300 and the fixture at $80-$120. Appraisal certificates are available if interested. The wire is original and needs replacing. There are no defects in the lamp. But the brass fixture has 2 small dents in the base and the brass needs polishing. The lamp is 7" high and has a diameter of 7" and the base opening is 2 1/4" The ceiling fixture is brass, 4' long with 4 1/2" diameter base. The socket and switch are in good condition and worked prior to being removed from house.

Antique ART NOUVEAU Bronze Painted TABLE LAMP BASE Tiffany HANDEL Cast Iron
Fresh from a recent estate sale comes this lovely old lamp base. It measures 23" tall to the top of the finial and 7 1/2" across at the base. Retains its original bronze painted finish and has original finial. There are some areas of age discoloration and a bit of paint loss but overall condition is very good. This lamp is in working condition. No manufacturer's mark. It has come to my attention that the cap and finial may/may not be original to the lamp.

Antique Miller Slag Glass Lamp - SUPER LAMP- Handel Rainaud- B&H art & craft era
This is ONE BIG LAMP and HUGE SHADE and I think it must be the one of the best Miller Lamps Ive ever seen. The Oak tree theme with leaves and acorns is just beautiful. No damage to filigree. Check out the bands between each piece of glass. They are made to look like Oak trees. This is one very well made shade and solid! The color blend in the caramel glass is outstanding! Lamp stands 23" tall. Shade is 19" x 7" No cracks or chips out of glass. The base is not signed that I can find. But undoubtably a Miller base. 3 sockets all working fine. Acorn pull chains all in tact. Cord is cloth with older plug not sure if it's a newer replacement cord or original. But has the look one would want with a lamp of this sort. It's just classy! This is one of those lamps you want to sell to a customer who really appreciates the beauty ... moreof it. But would love to keep for myself! HANDEL, TIFFANY, DUFFNER, PRE 1920S LEADED LAMP
Up for auction is this very pretty leaded all original slag glass lamp. It has a great arts and crafts look to it and I am selling it with a modest reserve. The base measures 22 inches tall and the shade is 18 inches wide. T he lamp needs no excuses folks as it's right as rain. The base is in original condition with a brass patina and is without dents. Dings, or breaks and has been recently rewired. B oth sockets are working nicely as well. The heat cap and finial may not have always been with this lamp but who knows. The shade s leading is all tight and right and without any loose pieces of glass but as any period shade. It rattles nicely. I see two very tight small stress cracks in the glass that I had to look very hard to find and this is remarkable for a shade that is nearly 100 years old. I am not sure if it has ever been repaired ... morebut it app ears to be all original glass but leading may have been repaire d over the ye ar s. Massive Arts& Crafts Era Copper/Bronze Lamp with Slag Glass Shade This is a massive mission styled lamp from the American arts and crafts period. The lamp is unsigned and in very good original condition. We believe the base to be bronze with a copper finish. It is very heavy. It features 4 sockets in working order. All have original acorn pulls. The power cord looks original to the lamp but hard to know for sure. The shade also features a matching hammered copper look. It has an interesting design with figures. Trees and geese backed by gorgeous green slag glass. The lamp really comes to life when lit. As mentioned, this is a large lamp. The shade is 16.5" wide. Base is 8" wide. ANTIQUE HANDEL LILY DESK LAMP; RARE YELLOW GREEN SLAG GLASS; DUFFNER ERA
For sale is a beautiful documented Handel lily lamp as shown in pictures 1-12. This lamp is relatively rare in that its glass color is not Handel's standard dark green. Rather. It is a lighter striated yellow green. Also the base metal and the metal holding the petals has a lighter golden brown patina that is more in keeping with the muted colors of the glass. The true patina color is shown in natural sun light in photo 3. The true color of the glass is shown in natural light in photos 2& 3. Although the base and shade are unsigned. This lighter colored variation of Handel's lily lamp is pictured(documented) in"The Handel Lamp Book" by Hibel. Hibel& Fontaine at page 30 at the top right. The lily pad base of the lamps were made of cast iron and thus much more difficult to emboss with the Handel mark than the softer ... morepot metal table lamps. Hence, most of these lily pad bottoms had weak lettering(a couple of letters) to no impressions at all. The lamp has been rewired with a period appropriate brown cloth cord that has been spliced at the bottom. See photos 9& 10. The lamp has its original bakelight plug. photo 8) The socket has a GE paddle. Photo 12. The socket works perfectly. The socket shell is spot welded closed at two spots. You can see one of them in photo 2. The shade is 4 inches long from back to front tip(i.e. The front to back diameter) The shade's side to side diameter is 4 1/2 inches wide. The shades front opening is 2 1/4 inches in diameter. It takes one of the narrow pointed bulbs. Unfortunately. The lamp has one panel of glass missing. Fortunately, it is in the least conspicuous spot. The underside. The framing for the petal is still intact. The missing piece can only be noticed by viewing the lamp from the back side(photo 11) or from the underside(photo 12) Because of Handel's overlapping petal pattern, the loss is barely noticable. Signed Handel two socket Lamp Base
Here is a signed Handel lamp base in as-found condition. The base is 21.5" tall and has its original brown-green patina finish. It does have some blemishes as shown in the photos-I'm not sure if the large one will clean off. It looks like a wrench or pliers were used long ago on the top and bottom of the ball. The socket shells are original. But the interiors have been replaced.

Handel cattail double student lamp,mission arts and crafts
Up for auction is this lovely cattail double student desk lamp. The lamp stands 21" high and 20" wide. The two shades measure 5" wide and 5" deep they contain 6 deep green glass panels under a cattail and leaf design with the cattails painted red and leaves green. They are both in great shape free of cracks or repairs and are marked as shown in the photos. ANTIQUE BRASS DUAL BURNER OIL LAMP & HANDEL STYLE SHADE
This is an antique oil lamp with a brass base and a double burner. The burner says EM Duplex& Co. It comes with a clear glass chimney and what I believe is a Handel shade. There are small flea bites on the top rim as seen in the photos. In very good condition and it is a stunning warm green color. It measures 20" high. This will be packed in two separate boxes. We always use new high quality boxes and new high quality packing materials to pack our fine antiques.

UNIQUE LEADED GLASS LAMP; GREEN-BROWN PATINA; HANDEL DUFFNER WHALEY ERA
For sale is a classic Unique Company leaded glass lamp. This exact lamp base with the Saturn socket cluster(photos 3-4) and patina is shown in Paul Crists's book"Mosaic Shades II" at p. 47. As you can see in photos 3-7. This base exhibits Unique's varigated green-brown patina. According to Paul Crist, in"Mosaic Shades II" at p. 48, The most attractive examples[of this base] are in a varigrated green-brown patina over copper plate which is virtually identical to Tiffany's famous finish- an achievement that speaks to the experience and professionalism of Unique's manufactory. Photos 3 and 7 are the best representation of the actual color of this lamp base. This Unique lamp base stands 23 inches tall. The bottom of the base is 8 inches in diameter and has Unique's classic counterweight. The base has three ... moresockets with matching 8.5 inch long acorn pulls. Two of the sockets are the early Hubbell sockets with the raised letters"HUBBELL" on the socket shell. These sockets have their original porcelain inserts(photo 6) and mica insulators. At some time in the distant past. The third socket was replaced and the socket shell patinated green and black. I cannot tell the manufacturer of the socket shell as there is a lot of coating on the outside. However. I did replace the interior of that socket with a next generation Hubbell porcelain. All three sockets click crisply and function properly. The lamp has been completely rewired. You can have the old wiring if you want it. The electrical cord has been replaced with a black rayon(cloth) covered cord that is period appropriate. The lamp retains its original black Bakelite plug. see photo 11) The shade is 17 inches in diameter and 9 inches deep. It is unsigned but has has Unique's periwinkle pattern. Variations of the periwinkle shade are shown in Mosaic Shades II at p. 74. All of the glass in the shade is intact with no breaks or missing pieces. This is an antique Handel floor lamp with a bronze base signed. The shade is slag glass with a metal overlay and depicts a beautiful forest scene. One of the panels had been broken restored and replaced. The base has a five bulb light socket that has 5 acorn pull chains. It is in very good condition with no breaks or chips to the glass. Handel Arts and Crafts Desk Lamp with Brown Mosserine Shade
This rare version of a Handel desk lamp represents the top of the line of the various desk lamps that the Handel Company offered. It is taller than the other versions. Measuring 15" tall, and the shade is also wider than other models measuring 10" wide. The shade is acid-etched on the exterior to produce a textured pattern, called Mosserine, in brown to cream colors, which are more pronounced with the lamp is turned on. The interior of the shade is signed Handel. The base has a rich brown patina. It comes with its original acorn pull cord. The electrical wiring has been updated with a new cloth covered cord that has an on-off thumb switch. The base has a new felt bottom with Handel cloth label. Overall, the lamp is in excellent condition(see above condition report) This handsome lamp will make a fine addition to any home.

What a beautiful Old Leaded lamp. A lady from St. Paul had the lamp and gave it up to. Well here it is NOT one FRACTURE! beautiful glass blend of caramel green pink ruby red. Classic looking Antique. Lamp stands 23" tall. Shade is a full 18.5" x 6" top is hard to measure 3.5" or 3.5-8" has a lip on it to fit on top of base. Lamp is rewired with cloth brown cord and acorn plug. Both sockets work fine. Insides new, kept outer shell and original pull chains for appearances. A very solid old shade not one crack or separation or break in leading. Harp style slag glass desk lamp---similar to Handel and Bradley& Hubbard (B&H)
Nice harp style desk lamp with six panel slag glass shade. The lamp is 13 1/2" tall and 9" wide. The slag glass shade is 7 1/2" wide and 4" tall with a 2 1/4" fitter. The harp and socket are brass and the base appears to be spelter. It's been rewired at some point and works well.The socket is the original weber with a patent dated UNO fitter. Unfortunately the date on the fitter is worn and hard to read. The six panel slag glass shade is in good shape with no cracks or losses. Please veiw all the pictures.
