ANTIQUE 1890'S BECKWITH ROUND OAK WOOD STOVE WORLDS FAIR FINIAL CROWN TOP--LOOK!
You are bidding on an ORIGINAL 1890's Beckwith Round Oak wood stove finial! This Worlds Fair finial measures approx. 10 1/2" tall. And has the crown? at the very top. Base measures approx. 4 3/4" diameter. The finial has the four outer bands that read"Beckwith's Round Oak" and has the center ball/sphere. There is a long screw that goes all the way through the finial that is bent and needs to be straightened. There are some small dents in the base, and one dent in the center ball. Unsure what this is made of. Copper? Brass? This was found in a local estate and is being sold just as we have found it! We have not attempted to clean, polish, or fix this in any way. This is a beautiful Antique Cast Iron Wood Stove*Converted to Gas* La Salamandre" E Chaboche. Which is the most sought after reproduction of the original French design, and was made in Argentina. Here is some information acquired regarding this unique and rare piece. La Salamandre Louis XVI Art Nouveau Wood burner By: E Chaboche of Paris"La Salamandre" Louis XVI" French wood/coal burning stove by E Chaboche of Paris. From the Art Nouveau period, manufactured sometime between 1906 and 1940 This is an Argentine cast iron reproduction of the Rolls Royce of wood burning stoves. From the moment that Edward Chaboche released his first Salamandre model the"Premier Modèle" or"Modèle Rond" in 1883, he wiped the floor with all of the competition, and continued to do so right up to the fall ... moreof France in 1940. Every one of his competitors would design and release on to the market a similar design, but none were as successful as Chaboche. This Louis XVI model is in first class condition and has the"nickelled" option which made it a cut above the Jones's(or Lefevre's! It would enhance any period drawing room. Dining room. Vintage Crown Gas/Wood Cook Stove - LOCAL PICK UP Michigan
LOCAL PICK UP ONLY! Very unique vintage Crown gas/wood cook stove. There is no date on this. But I am guessing that it was manufactured sometime in the 50s. This was stored in my grandparents basement and was in use just last season. The left side of the cook top can be heated with a woodbox which is shown in pic 2. The right side is gas burners and oven. This was hooked to natural gas, but the right person could convert it to propane if needed. Ornate Wood Burning Stove Door with Tile Insert
This is one beautiful door for an old wood burning stove. We have no idea what stove this went to. But we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to offer it. The door is made of cast iron and appears to be in very good condition. There does not appear to be any significant rust and what little rust there is appears to be only on the surface. The handle appears to have originally been nickel-plated. Much of which has worn off. The centerpiece of this door is the beautiful ceramic tile insert. We cannot guarantee that this was the original tile. But is does appear to be old as a careful inspection shows some light crazing. The door measures about 20” long and 12” tall. The door hinges are not broken and the original pins are still in place. One of the latches might be broken. But it is hard to tell since it is worn so smoothly. There is a thin sheet ... moremetal protector on the inside that does show significant rust damage. But is not visible and could easily be replaced if desired. The back view is of the 3/4" line coming in and if you look to the left you will see a hole in stove body. This line serpintines back and forth over the burner box and ends with a 90 elbow facing this hole. It needs a 10" straight shot of pipe to bring out of the hole. The threads on the 90 elbow look usable. 34" wide or 41" wide with right pan leaf in place. 31" deep from back to front oven handle. 30" tall to top of stove burner plates. 61" tall to top of backsplash. Atlanta Homesteader Wood Stove 2401-U + Adjustable Damper
The Atlanta Homesteader wood stove is an older wood stove from the 1970s and would work great as a garage stove or stove for camp. The stove is 28in long and would easily take 24in logs. The front door is 13in tall and 10in wide. The sheet metal you see at the top of the door entrance is on a hinges and swings up to place logs in. The bottom grate is broken and would likely just need to be remove to make it easier to clean out. The doors open and close well and everything is mechanically sound. Old cast iron wood stove-CAPE COD, MA
Dimensions of the outside of the firebox are roughly 28" deep by 14"wide by 14" high. There is a heat exchanger on top which comes off of the fire box. So it requires refractory putty to seal the edges where it mates to the fire box(I have a small can to go with the stove) Being able to remove the firebox makes it easier to move the unit. The heat exchanger unit itself measures 5" deep by 11" wide and 6" high. The legs are 10" The overall measurements of the complete stove are 28" deep x 14" wide x 30" high There are log cabin in the woods scenes cast into both sides. The flue outlet is 5 inches O.D. The firebox itself is over 50 pounds. And the stove itself has to be close to 80 to 100 pounds. It's very heavy thickness cast iron. I can't ship this, so be aware when you bid this is ... moreoffered for LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. It's in Yarmouthport MA. We can schedule a mutually agreed pick up time in the next few weeks or so. Door opening for feeding wood is 7" wide x 8 1/2" high. Someone had asked if I can figure out the brand name- don't think I can. There is a black metal tag riveted to the rear. All printing on it is obscured, but it does appear to have a number stamped into it- my guess it's a serial number. That number is 605645. There is another silver label on the front below the door, it is badly corroded so nothing can be read- but a few words like"hot surface" and so I suspect this front label is just safety warnings like- it's hot so don't get burned.

A small portion on the lower right of Young Lady's picture is missing, there is a hole where her nose is. The Hinge may have been replaced with a brass hinge. This is an old. Rounded, rusty, solid camp oven. The door works as it should and the windows are original and good. The racks are in place and the baffle at the bottom is intact.
