Really Cute Baby Bear Fisher Wood Stove
PLEASE UNDERSTAND EBAY'S POLICY ON BEST OFFER. IF YOU MAKE AN OFFER AND WE ACCEPT IT. YOU ARE BOUND TO BUY THIS STOVE. Stove measures 15 1/2" wide x 22 1/2" tall x 27" deep from front to back. Including the ash shelf under the doors. Weight is approximately 275 lbs. This stove has a 6" flue out of the back. Which is very efficient and compatible with zero clearance chimney kits. Stove will take approximately 18" logs. Firebrick are in decent shape and will probably last another 5 years. I am currently NOT going to replace the firebrick. Unless you pay the Buy-It-Now price. The gasket installed around the door would probably last another season and I don't intend to replace it unless you pay the Buy-It-Now price. These stoves were designed to be used with no gasket in the first place. However. The guy that ... morehad it before me put one in and it's still there. I used this stove in my shop but no longer have my shop and don't need the stove. The inside of the stove was vacuumed after a season of use in my shop. And shows normal wear for a stove it's age. This thing will last a lifetime. For a little stove. It really throws a lot of heat! This stove only needed a light sanding before refinishing. The top and sides have four coats of Thermolux 1.200 degree black satin heat paint. All of the nicely detailed gold trim is also done in Gold Metallic Thermolux 1,200 degree heat paint. I did NOT paint the bottom of the stove. Who would? With any good fortune, you'll never see it. This is a very tastefully refinished Fisher Wood Stove and will look great, while keeping your favorite room warm for many years to come. This is a very short stove and has great overhead heat clearance. I'm not sure how tall Baby Bears were intended to be. But this one stands exactly 22 1/2" at the top of the stove. Up for sale is a vintage shipmate stove. This stove came out of a basement[not hooked up just stored] in a local estate. The stove was not used for some time and appears to be in good shape but is missing the flat stock steel pieces that go around the top the brackets are present but the flat stock steel would have to be remade which shouldn't be to hard. The stove appears to be complete other then that and I believe is porcelain coated. The stove is model 211 you can look up shipmate stove and find they are still in business today and this stove sell new for upwards of $4.000! The stove can use wood or coal and is intended for boats 30'to 65' The demensions of the stove are 21'w x16"d x 13"h. The top openings are 8" to the left and 6" to the right and the oval is 5 1/2"x 2 3/4. The weight is a little ... moreover 125pds. depending on fuel type the stove puts out 24,000 to 36,000 btu. These have been in storage since the parts shop was closed 30 years ago. These have scuffs and minor imperfections in the finish due to age and shelf wear. Never installed or used. Color mat black. I will clean and buff off any oxidized finish prior to shipping. Which will improve the cosmetics x 2 fold at least. These each attach by a single bolt into a threaded hole.
